Yea, in the way of thy judgments, O LORD, have we waited for thee; the desire of our soul is to thy name, and to the remembrance of thee.
בָּאתִי לְגַנִּי אֲחֹתִי כַלָּה אָרִיתִי מוֹרִי עִם-בְּשָׂמִי אָכַלְתִּי יַעְרִי עִם-דִּבְשִׁי שָׁתִיתִי יֵינִי עִם-חֲלָבִי אִכְלוּ רֵעִים שְׁתוּ וְשִׁכְרוּ דּוֹדִֽים׃
I am come into my garden, my sister, my spouse: I have gathered my myrrh with my spice; I have eaten my honeycomb with my honey; I have drunk my wine with my milk: eat, O friends; drink, yea, drink abundantly, O beloved.
וְהָיָה הַיּוֹם הַזֶּה לָכֶם לְזִכָּרוֹן וְחַגֹּתֶם אֹתוֹ חַג לַֽיהוָה לְדֹרֹתֵיכֶם חֻקַּת עוֹלָם תְּחָגֻּֽהוּ׃
And this day shall be unto you for a memorial; and ye shall keep it a feast to the LORD throughout your generations; ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance for ever.

The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?
ἐκκαθάρατε οὖν τὴν παλαιὰν ζύμην ἵνα ἦτε νέον φύραμα καθώς ἐστε ἄζυμοι· καὶ γὰρ τὸ πάσχα ἡμῶν ὑπὲρ ἡμῶν ἐτύθη Χριστός
Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:
הוֹי כָּל-צָמֵא לְכוּ לַמַּיִם וַאֲשֶׁר אֵֽין-לוֹ כָּסֶף לְכוּ שִׁבְרוּ וֶֽאֱכֹלוּ וּלְכוּ שִׁבְרוּ בְּלוֹא-כֶסֶף וּבְלוֹא מְחִיר יַיִן וְחָלָֽב׃
Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.
לְכוּ לַחֲמוּ בְֽלַחֲמִי וּשְׁתוּ בְּיַיִן מָסָֽכְתִּי׃
Come, eat of my bread, and drink of the wine which I have mingled.

He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the LORD is gracious and full of compassion.
וְעָשָׂה יְהוָה צְבָאוֹת לְכָל-הָֽעַמִּים בָּהָר הַזֶּה מִשְׁתֵּה שְׁמָנִים מִשְׁתֵּה שְׁמָרִים שְׁמָנִים מְמֻחָיִם שְׁמָרִים מְזֻקָּקִֽים׃
And in this mountain shall the LORD of hosts make unto all people a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well refined.

Then ye shall answer them, That the waters of Jordan were cut off before the ark of the covenant of the LORD; when it passed over Jordan, the waters of Jordan were cut off: and these stones shall be for a memorial unto the children of Israel for ever.
יֹאכְלוּ עֲנָוִים׀ וְיִשְׂבָּעוּ יְהַֽלְלוּ יְהוָה דֹּרְשָׁיו יְחִי לְבַבְכֶם לָעַֽד׃
The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the LORD that seek him: your heart shall live for ever.
אָכְלוּ וַיִּֽשְׁתַּחֲוּוּ׀ כָּֽל-דִּשְׁנֵי-אֶרֶץ לְפָנָיו יִכְרְעוּ כָּל-יוֹרְדֵי עָפָר וְנַפְשׁוֹ לֹא חִיָּֽה׃
All they that be fat upon earth shall eat and worship: all they that go down to the dust shall bow before him: and none can keep alive his own soul.
ἀμὴν λέγω ὑμῖν ὅπου ἐὰν κηρυχθῇ τὸ εὐαγγέλιον τοῦτο ἐν ὅλῳ τῷ κόσμῳ λαληθήσεται καὶ ὃ ἐποίησεν αὕτη εἰς μνημόσυνον αὐτῆς
Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached in the whole world, there shall also be this, that this woman hath done, told for a memorial of her.
