After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come.
Ἀμὴν ἀμὴν λέγω ὑμῖν ὁ μὴ εἰσερχόμενος διὰ τῆς θύρας εἰς τὴν αὐλὴν τῶν προβάτων ἀλλὰ ἀναβαίνων ἀλλαχόθεν ἐκεῖνος κλέπτης ἐστὶν καὶ λῃστής·
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.
וַיֹּאמֶר אֲלֵהֶם בֶּן-מֵאָה וְעֶשְׂרִים שָׁנָה אָֽנֹכִי הַיּוֹם לֹֽא-אוּכַל עוֹד לָצֵאת וְלָבוֹא וַֽיהוָה אָמַר אֵלַי לֹא תַֽעֲבֹר אֶת-הַיַּרְדֵּן הַזֶּֽה׃
And he said unto them, I am an hundred and twenty years old this day; I can no more go out and come in: also the LORD hath said unto me, Thou shalt not go over this Jordan.
גַּם-אֶתְמוֹל גַּם-שִׁלְשׁוֹם בִּֽהְיוֹת שָׁאוּל מֶלֶךְ עָלֵינוּ אַתָּה (הייתה) הָיִיתָ (מוציא) הַמּוֹצִיא (והמבי) וְהַמֵּבִיא אֶת-יִשְׂרָאֵל וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה לְךָ אַתָּה תִרְעֶה אֶת-עַמִּי אֶת-יִשְׂרָאֵל וְאַתָּה תִּֽהְיֶה לְנָגִיד עַל-יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
Also in time past, when Saul was king over us, thou wast he that leddest out and broughtest in Israel: and the LORD said to thee, Thou shalt feed my people Israel, and thou shalt be a captain over Israel.
אֲשֶׁר-יֵצֵא לִפְנֵיהֶם וַֽאֲשֶׁר יָבֹא לִפְנֵיהֶם וַֽאֲשֶׁר יֽוֹצִיאֵם וַֽאֲשֶׁר יְבִיאֵם וְלֹא תִֽהְיֶה עֲדַת יְהוָה כַּצֹּאן אֲשֶׁר אֵין-לָהֶם רֹעֶֽה׃
Which may go out before them, and which may go in before them, and which may lead them out, and which may bring them in; that the congregation of the LORD be not as sheep which have no shepherd.
וְעַתָּה יְהוָה אֱלֹהָי אַתָּה הִמְלַכְתָּ אֶֽת-עַבְדְּךָ תַּחַת דָּוִד אָבִי וְאָֽנֹכִי נַעַר קָטֹן לֹא אֵדַע צֵאת וָבֹֽא׃
And now, O LORD my God, thou hast made thy servant king instead of David my father: and I am but a little child: I know not how to go out or come in.
