Ezekiel 26:17
וְנָשְׂאוּ עָלַיִךְ קִינָה וְאָמְרוּ לָךְ אֵיךְ אָבַדְתְּ נוֹשֶׁבֶת מִיַּמִּים הָעִיר הַהֻלָּלָה אֲשֶׁר הָיְתָה חֲזָקָה בַיָּם הִיא וְיֹשְׁבֶיהָ אֲשֶׁר-נָתְנוּ חִתִּיתָם לְכָל-יוֹשְׁבֶֽיהָ׃
And they shall take up a lamentation for thee, and say to thee, How art thou destroyed, that wast inhabited of seafaring men, the renowned city, which wast strong in the sea, she and her inhabitants, which cause their terror to be on all that haunt it!
2 Kings 24:6
וַיִּשְׁכַּב יְהֽוֹיָקִים עִם-אֲבֹתָיו וַיִּמְלֹךְ יְהֽוֹיָכִין בְּנוֹ תַּחְתָּֽיו׃
So Jehoiakim slept with his fathers: and Jehoiachin his son reigned in his stead.
Ezekiel 27:2
וְאַתָּה בֶן-אָדָם שָׂא עַל-צֹר קִינָֽה׃
Now, thou son of man, take up a lamentation for Tyrus;
2 Kings 25:5
וַיִּרְדְּפוּ חֵיל-כַּשְׂדִּים אַחַר הַמֶּלֶךְ וַיַּשִּׂגוּ אֹתוֹ בְּעַֽרְבוֹת יְרֵחוֹ וְכָל-חֵילוֹ נָפֹצוּ מֵֽעָלָֽיו׃
And the army of the Chaldees pursued after the king, and overtook him in the plains of Jericho: and all his army were scattered from him.
Ezekiel 19:14
וַתֵּצֵא אֵשׁ מִמַּטֵּה בַדֶּיהָ פִּרְיָהּ אָכָלָה וְלֹא-הָיָה בָהּ מַטֵּה-עֹז שֵׁבֶט לִמְשׁוֹל קִינָה הִיא וַתְּהִי לְקִינָֽה׃
And fire is gone out of a rod of her branches, which hath devoured her fruit, so that she hath no strong rod to be a sceptre to rule. This is a lamentation, and shall be for a lamentation.
Ezekiel 2:10
וַיִּפְרֹשׂ אוֹתָהּ לְפָנַי וְהִיא כְתוּבָה פָּנִים וְאָחוֹר וְכָתוּב אֵלֶיהָ קִנִים וָהֶגֶה וָהִֽי׃
And he spread it before me; and it was written within and without: and there was written therein lamentations, and mourning, and woe.
2 Kings 23:34
וַיַּמְלֵךְ פַּרְעֹה נְכֹה אֶת-אֶלְיָקִים בֶּן-יֹֽאשִׁיָּהוּ תַּחַת יֹֽאשִׁיָּהוּ אָבִיו וַיַּסֵּב אֶת-שְׁמוֹ יְהֽוֹיָקִים וְאֶת-יְהֽוֹאָחָז לָקָח וַיָּבֹא מִצְרַיִם וַיָּמָת שָֽׁם׃
And Pharaoh-nechoh made Eliakim the son of Josiah king in the room of Josiah his father, and turned his name to Jehoiakim, and took away: Jehoahaz and he came to Egypt, and died there.
2 Kings 24:12
וַיֵּצֵא יְהֽוֹיָכִין מֶֽלֶךְ-יְהוּדָה עַל-מֶלֶךְ בָּבֶל הוּא וְאִמּוֹ וַֽעֲבָדָיו וְשָׂרָיו וְסָֽרִיסָיו וַיִּקַּח אֹתוֹ מֶלֶךְ בָּבֶל בִּשְׁנַת שְׁמֹנֶה לְמָלְכֽוֹ׃
And Jehoiachin the king of Judah went out to the king of Babylon, he, and his mother, and his servants, and his princes, and his officers: and the king of Babylon took him in the eighth year of his reign.
2 Kings 23:29
בְּיָמָיו עָלָה פַרְעֹה נְכֹה מֶֽלֶךְ-מִצְרַיִם עַל-מֶלֶךְ אַשּׁוּר עַל-נְהַר-פְּרָת וַיֵּלֶךְ הַמֶּלֶךְ יֹֽאשִׁיָּהוּ לִקְרָאתוֹ וַיְמִיתֵהוּ בִּמְגִדּוֹ כִּרְאֹתוֹ אֹתֽוֹ׃
In his days Pharaoh-nechoh king of Egypt went up against the king of Assyria to the river Euphrates: and king Josiah went against him; and he slew him at Megiddo, when he had seen him.
Jeremiah 22:28
הַעֶצֶב נִבְזֶה נָפוּץ הָאִישׁ הַזֶּה כָּנְיָהוּ אִם-כְּלִי אֵין חֵפֶץ בּוֹ מַדּוּעַ הֽוּטֲלוּ הוּא וְזַרְעוֹ וְהֻשְׁלְכוּ עַל-הָאָרֶץ אֲשֶׁר לֹא-יָדָֽעוּ׃
Is this man Coniah a despised broken idol? is he a vessel wherein is no pleasure? wherefore are they cast out, he and his seed, and are cast into a land which they know not?
Ezekiel 32:16
קִינָה הִיא וְקוֹנְנוּהָ בְּנוֹת הַגּוֹיִם תְּקוֹנֵנָּה אוֹתָהּ עַל-מִצְרַיִם וְעַל-כָּל-הֲמוֹנָהּ תְּקוֹנֵנָּה אוֹתָהּ נְאֻם אֲדֹנָי יְהוִֽה׃
This is the lamentation wherewith they shall lament her: the daughters of the nations shall lament her: they shall lament for her, even for Egypt, and for all her multitude, saith the Lord GOD.
Jeremiah 9:10
עַל-הֶהָרִים אֶשָּׂא בְכִי וָנֶהִי וְעַל-נְאוֹת מִדְבָּר קִינָה כִּי נִצְּתוּ מִבְּלִי-אִישׁ עֹבֵר וְלֹא שָׁמְעוּ קוֹל מִקְנֶה מֵעוֹף הַשָּׁמַיִם וְעַד-בְּהֵמָה נָדְדוּ הָלָֽכוּ׃
For the mountains will I take up a weeping and wailing, and for the habitations of the wilderness a lamentation, because they are burned up, so that none can pass through them; neither can men hear the voice of the cattle; both the fowl of the heavens and the beast are fled; they are gone.
Jeremiah 52:25
וּמִן-הָעִיר לָקַח סָרִיס אֶחָד אֲֽשֶׁר-הָיָה פָקִיד׀ עַל-אַנְשֵׁי הַמִּלְחָמָה וְשִׁבְעָה אֲנָשִׁים מֵרֹאֵי פְנֵי-הַמֶּלֶךְ אֲשֶׁר נִמְצְאוּ בָעִיר וְאֵת סֹפֵר שַׂר הַצָּבָא הַמַּצְבִּא אֶת-עַם הָאָרֶץ וְשִׁשִּׁים אִישׁ מֵעַם הָאָרֶץ הַֽנִּמְצְאִים בְּתוֹךְ הָעִֽיר׃
He took also out of the city an eunuch, which had the charge of the men of war; and seven men of them that were near the king's person, which were found in the city; and the principal scribe of the host, who mustered the people of the land; and threescore men of the people of the land, that were found in the midst of the city.
Jeremiah 24:8
וְכַתְּאֵנִים הָֽרָעוֹת אֲשֶׁר לֹא-תֵאָכַלְנָה מֵרֹעַ כִּי-כֹה׀ אָמַר יְהוָה כֵּן אֶתֵּן אֶת-צִדְקִיָּהוּ מֶֽלֶךְ-יְהוּדָה וְאֶת-שָׂרָיו וְאֵת׀ שְׁאֵרִית יְרוּשָׁלִַם הַנִּשְׁאָרִים בָּאָרֶץ הַזֹּאת וְהַיֹּשְׁבִים בְּאֶרֶץ מִצְרָֽיִם׃
And as the evil figs, which cannot be eaten, they are so evil; surely thus saith the LORD, So will I give Zedekiah the king of Judah, and his princes, and the residue of Jerusalem, that remain in this land, and them that dwell in the land of Egypt:
2 Chronicles 36:6
עָלָיו עָלָה נְבֽוּכַדְנֶאצַּר מֶלֶךְ בָּבֶל וַיַּֽאַסְרֵהוּ בַּֽנְחֻשְׁתַּיִם לְהֹֽלִיכוֹ בָּבֶֽלָה׃
Against him came up Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and bound him in fetters, to carry him to Babylon.
2 Chronicles 35:25
וַיְקוֹנֵן יִרְמְיָהוּ עַל-יֹֽאשִׁיָּהוּ וַיֹּֽאמְרוּ כָֽל-הַשָּׁרִים׀ וְהַשָּׁרוֹת בְּקִינוֹתֵיהֶם עַל-יֹֽאשִׁיָּהוּ עַד-הַיּוֹם וַיִּתְּנוּם לְחֹק עַל-יִשְׂרָאֵל וְהִנָּם כְּתוּבִים עַל-הַקִּינֽוֹת׃
And Jeremiah lamented for Josiah: and all the singing men and the singing women spake of Josiah in their lamentations to this day, and made them an ordinance in Israel: and, behold, they are written in the lamentations.
Jeremiah 9:1
מִֽי-יִתֵּן רֹאשִׁי מַיִם וְעֵינִי מְקוֹר דִּמְעָה וְאֶבְכֶּה יוֹמָם וָלַיְלָה אֵת חַֽלְלֵי בַת-עַמִּֽי׃
Oh that my head were waters, and mine eyes a fountain of tears, that I might weep day and night for the slain of the daughter of my people!
Jeremiah 24:1
הִרְאַנִי יְהוָה וְהִנֵּה שְׁנֵי דּוּדָאֵי תְאֵנִים מוּעָדִים לִפְנֵי הֵיכַל יְהוָה אַחֲרֵי הַגְלוֹת נְבוּכַדְרֶאצַּר מֶֽלֶךְ-בָּבֶל אֶת-יְכָנְיָהוּ בֶן-יְהוֹיָקִים מֶֽלֶךְ-יְהוּדָה וְאֶת-שָׂרֵי יְהוּדָה וְאֶת-הֶחָרָשׁ וְאֶת-הַמַּסְגֵּר מִירוּשָׁלִַם וַיְבִאֵם בָּבֶֽל׃
The LORD shewed me, and, behold, two baskets of figs were set before the temple of the LORD, after that Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon had carried away captive Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah, and the princes of Judah, with the carpenters and smiths, from Jerusalem, and had brought them to Babylon.
Jeremiah 52:10
וַיִּשְׁחַט מֶֽלֶךְ-בָּבֶל אֶת-בְּנֵי צִדְקִיָּהוּ לְעֵינָיו וְגַם אֶת-כָּל-שָׂרֵי יְהוּדָה שָׁחַט בְּרִבְלָֽתָה׃
And the king of Babylon slew the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes: he slew also all the princes of Judah in Riblah.
Jeremiah 22:18
לָכֵן כֹּֽה-אָמַר יְהוָה אֶל-יְהוֹיָקִים בֶּן-יֹאשִׁיָּהוּ מֶלֶךְ יְהוּדָה לֹא-יִסְפְּדוּ לוֹ הוֹי אָחִי וְהוֹי אָחוֹת לֹא-יִסְפְּדוּ לוֹ הוֹי אָדוֹן וְהוֹי הֹדֹֽה׃
Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah; They shall not lament for him, saying, Ah my brother! or, Ah sister! they shall not lament for him, saying, Ah lord! or, Ah his glory!
