ἐὰν δὲ πάντες προφητεύωσιν εἰσέλθῃ δέ τις ἄπιστος ἢ ἰδιώτης ἐλέγχεται ὑπὸ πάντων ἀνακρίνεται ὑπὸ πάντων
But if all prophesy, and there come in one that believeth not, or one unlearned, he is convinced of all, he is judged of all:
εὑρίσκει οὗτος πρῶτος τὸν ἀδελφὸν τὸν ἴδιον Σίμωνα καὶ λέγει αὐτῷ Εὑρήκαμεν τὸν Μεσσίαν ὅ ἐστιν μεθερμηνευόμενον ὅ Χριστός·
He first findeth his own brother Simon, and saith unto him, We have found the Messias, which is, being interpreted, the Christ.
λέγει αὐτῷ ἡ γυνή Οἶδα ὅτι Μεσσίας ἔρχεται ὁ λεγόμενος Χριστός· ὅταν ἔλθῃ ἐκεῖνος ἀναγγελεῖ ἡμῖν πάντα
The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things.
ἀπεκρίθη ἡ γυνὴ καὶ εἶπεν Οὐκ ἔχω ἄνδρα λέγει αὐτῇ ὁ Ἰησοῦς Καλῶς εἶπας ὅτι Ἄνδρα οὐκ ἔχω·
The woman answered and said, I have no husband. Jesus said unto her, Thou hast well said, I have no husband:
καὶ ἴδε παῤῥησίᾳ λαλεῖ καὶ οὐδὲν αὐτῷ λέγουσιν μήποτε ἀληθῶς ἔγνωσαν οἱ ἄρχοντες ὅτι οὗτός ἐστιν ἀληθῶς ὁ Χριστός
But, lo, he speaketh boldly, and they say nothing unto him. Do the rulers know indeed that this is the very Christ?
πολλοὶ δὲ Ἐκ τοῦ ὄχλου ἐπίστευσαν εἰς αὐτόν καὶ ἔλεγον ὅτι Ὁ Χριστὸς ὅταν ἔλθῃ μήτι πλείονα σημεῖα τούτων ποιήσει ὧν οὗτος ἐποίησεν
And many of the people believed on him, and said, When Christ cometh, will he do more miracles than these which this man hath done?
καὶ ἐξίσταντο πάντες οἱ ὄχλοι καὶ ἔλεγον Μήτι οὗτός ἐστιν ὁ υἱὸς Δαβίδ
And all the people were amazed, and said, Is not this the son of David?
