Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the LORD.
וַֽיהוָה פָּקַד אֶת-שָׂרָה כַּֽאֲשֶׁר אָמָר וַיַּעַשׂ יְהוָה לְשָׂרָה כַּֽאֲשֶׁר דִּבֵּֽר׃
And the LORD visited Sarah as he had said, and the LORD did unto Sarah as he had spoken.
וְכִֽעֲסַתָּה צָֽרָתָהּ גַּם-כַּעַס בַּֽעֲבוּר הַרְּעִמָהּ כִּֽי-סָגַר יְהוָה בְּעַד רַחְמָֽהּ׃
And her adversary also provoked her sore, for to make her fret, because the LORD had shut up her womb.

And Isaac intreated the LORD for his wife, because she was barren: and the LORD was intreated of him, and Rebekah his wife conceived.
Πίστει καὶ αὐτὴ Σάῤῥα δύναμιν εἰς καταβολὴν σπέρματος ἔλαβεν καὶ παρὰ καιρὸν ἡλικίας ἔτεκεν ἐπεὶ πιστὸν ἡγήσατο τὸν ἐπαγγειλάμενον
Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him who had faithful promised.

And the LORD visited Hannah, so that she conceived, and bare three sons and two daughters. And the child Samuel grew before the LORD.

But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John.
