Ἰησοῦς δὲ ἔκραξεν καὶ εἶπεν Ὁ πιστεύων εἰς ἐμὲ οὐ πιστεύει εἰς ἐμὲ ἀλλ' εἰς τὸν πέμψαντά με
Jesus cried and said, He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me.
ὁ ἀθετῶν ἐμὲ καὶ μὴ λαμβάνων τὰ ῥήματά μου ἔχει τὸν κρίνοντα αὐτόν· ὁ λόγος ὃν ἐλάλησα ἐκεῖνος κρινεῖ αὐτὸν ἐν τῇ ἐσχάτῃ ἡμέρᾳ
He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.
Ὃς ἐὰν ἓν τῶν τοιούτων παιδίων δέξηται ἐπὶ τῷ ὀνόματί μου ἐμὲ δέχεται· καὶ ὃς ἐὰν ἐμὲ δέξηται οὐκ ἐμὲ δέχεται ἀλλὰ τὸν ἀποστείλαντά με
Whosoever shall receive one of such children in my name, receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me, receiveth not me, but him that sent me.
οὐδὲ γὰρ ὁ πατὴρ κρίνει οὐδένα ἀλλὰ τὴν κρίσιν πᾶσαν δέδωκεν τῷ υἱῷ
For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:
בֵּן יְכַבֵּד אָב וְעֶבֶד אֲדֹנָיו וְאִם-אָב אָנִי אַיֵּה כְבוֹדִי וְאִם-אֲדוֹנִים אָנִי אַיֵּה מוֹרָאִי אָמַר׀ יְהוָה צְבָאוֹת לָכֶם הַכֹּֽהֲנִים בּוֹזֵי שְׁמִי וַאֲמַרְתֶּם בַּמֶּה בָזִינוּ אֶת-שְׁמֶֽךָ׃
A son honoureth his father, and a servant his master: if then I be a father, where is mine honour? and if I be a master, where is my fear? saith the LORD of hosts unto you, O priests, that despise my name. And ye say, Wherein have we despised thy name?
καὶ ὃς ἐὰν δέξηται παιδίον τοιοῦτον ἓν ἐπὶ τῷ ὀνόματί μου ἐμὲ δέχεται
And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.
οὐχὶ μένον σοὶ ἔμενεν καὶ πραθὲν ἐν τῇ σῇ ἐξουσίᾳ ὑπῆρχεν τί ὅτι ἔθου ἐν τῇ καρδίᾳ σου τὸ πρᾶγμα τοῦτο οὐκ ἐψεύσω ἀνθρώποις ἀλλὰ τῷ θεῷ
Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.
לָכֵן אַתָּה וְכָל-עֲדָתְךָ הַנֹּֽעָדִים עַל-יְהוָה וְאַֽהֲרֹן מַה-הוּא כִּי (תלונו) תַלִּינוּ עָלָֽיו׃
For which cause both thou and all thy company are gathered together against the LORD: and what is Aaron, that ye murmur against him?
καὶ εἶπεν αὐτοῖς Ὃς ἐὰν δέξηται τοῦτο τὸ παιδίον ἐπὶ τῷ ὀνόματί μου ἐμὲ δέχεται· καὶ ὃς ἐὰν ἐμὲ δέξηται δέχεται τὸν ἀποστείλαντά με· ὁ γὰρ μικρότερος ἐν πᾶσιν ὑμῖν ὑπάρχων οὗτός ἐσται μέγας
And said unto them, Whosoever shall receive this child in my name receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me receiveth him that sent me: for he that is least among you all, the same shall be great.
וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה אֶל-מֹשֶׁה עַד-אָנָה יְנַֽאֲצֻנִי הָעָם הַזֶּה וְעַד-אָנָה לֹֽא-יַאֲמִינוּ בִי בְּכֹל הָֽאֹתוֹת אֲשֶׁר עָשִׂיתִי בְּקִרְבּֽוֹ׃
And the LORD said unto Moses, How long will this people provoke me? and how long will it be ere they believe me, for all the signs which I have shewed among them?
וּבֹקֶר וּרְאִיתֶם אֶת-כְּבוֹד יְהוָה בְּשָׁמְעוֹ אֶת-תְּלֻנֹּֽתֵיכֶם עַל-יְהוָה וְנַחְנוּ מָה כִּי (תלונו) תַלִּינוּ עָלֵֽינוּ׃
And in the morning, then ye shall see the glory of the LORD; for that he heareth your murmurings against the LORD: and what are we, that ye murmur against us?
וַיִּלֹּנוּ עַל-מֹשֶׁה וְעַֽל-אַהֲרֹן כֹּל בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וַיֹּֽאמְרוּ אֲלֵהֶם כָּל-הָֽעֵדָה לוּ-מַתְנוּ בְּאֶרֶץ מִצְרַיִם אוֹ בַּמִּדְבָּר הַזֶּה לוּ-מָֽתְנוּ׃
And all the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron: and the whole congregation said unto them, Would God that we had died in the land of Egypt! or would God we had died in this wilderness!
