Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
Ἀκούσατε ἀδελφοί μου ἀγαπητοί· οὐχ ὁ θεὸς ἐξελέξατο τοὺς πτωχοὺς τοῦ κόσμου τούτου πλουσίους ἐν πίστει καὶ κληρονόμους τῆς βασιλείας ἡς ἐπηγγείλατο τοῖς ἀγαπῶσιν αὐτόν
Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?
ἀμὴν λέγω ὑμῖν ὅτι ἐπὶ πᾶσιν τοῖς ὑπάρχουσιν αὐτοῦ καταστήσει αὐτόν
Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.
καὶ προσελθὼν ὁ Ἰησοῦς ἐλάλησεν αὐτοῖς λέγων Ἐδόθη μοι πᾶσα ἐξουσία ἐν οὐρανῷ καὶ ἐπὶ γῆς
And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
Μὴ φοβοῦ τὸ μικρὸν ποίμνιον ὅτι εὐδόκησεν ὁ πατὴρ ὑμῶν δοῦναι ὑμῖν τὴν βασιλείαν
Fear not, little flock; for it is your good Father's pleasure to give you the kingdom.
καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῷ Εὖ ἀγαθὲ δοῦλε ὅτι ἐν ἐλαχίστῳ πιστὸς ἐγένου ἴσθι ἐξουσίαν ἔχων ἐπάνω δέκα πόλεων
And he said unto him, Well, thou good servant: because thou hast been faithful in a very little, have thou authority over ten cities.
πᾶς δὲ ὁ ἀγωνιζόμενος πάντα ἐγκρατεύεται ἐκεῖνοι μὲν οὖν ἵνα φθαρτὸν στέφανον λάβωσιν ἡμεῖς δὲ ἄφθαρτον
And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.
καὶ φανερωθέντος τοῦ ἀρχιποίμενος κομιεῖσθε τὸν ἀμαράντινον τῆς δόξης στέφανον
And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.
καὶ ἥ ἐλπίς ἡμῶν βεβαία ὑπὲρ ὑμῶν εἰδότες ὅτι ὥσπερ κοινωνοί ἐστε τῶν παθημάτων οὕτως καὶ τῆς παρακλήσεως
And our hope of you is stedfast, knowing, that as ye are partakers of the sufferings, so shall ye be also of the consolation.
καὶ τὸ τεῖχος τῆς πόλεως ἔχον θεμελίους δώδεκα καὶ ἐν αὐτοῖς ὀνόματα τῶν δώδεκα ἀποστόλων τοῦ ἀρνίου
