καὶ ἰδού πνεῦμα λαμβάνει αὐτόν καὶ ἐξαίφνης κράζει καὶ σπαράσσει αὐτὸν μετὰ ἀφροῦ καὶ μόγις ἀποχωρεῖ ἀπ' αὐτοῦ συντρῖβον αὐτόν·
And, lo, a spirit taketh him, and he suddenly out; crieth and it teareth him that he again, foameth and bruising him hardly departeth from him.
ὃς τὴν κατοίκησιν εἶχεν ἐν τοῖς μνήμείοις· καὶ οὒτε ἁλύσεσιν οὐδεὶς ἠδύνατο αὐτὸν δῆσαι
Who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no man could bind him, no, not with chains:
ἔτι δὲ προσερχομένου αὐτοῦ ἔῤῥηξεν αὐτὸν τὸ δαιμόνιον καὶ συνεσπάραξεν· ἐπετίμησεν δὲ ὁ Ἰησοῦς τῷ πνεύματι τῷ ἀκαθάρτῳ καὶ ἰάσατο τὸν παῖδα καὶ ἀπέδωκεν αὐτὸν τῷ πατρὶ αὐτοῦ
And as he was yet a coming, the devil threw down, him and tare him. And Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, and healed the child, and delivered again him to his father.
ἔλεγεν γὰρ αὐτῷ Ἔξελθε τὸ πνεῦμα τὸ ἀκάθαρτον ἐκ τοῦ ἀνθρώπου
For he said unto him, Come out of the man, thou unclean spirit.
ὥστε καὶ ἐπὶ τοὺς ἀσθενοῦντας ἐπιφέρεσθαι ἀπὸ τοῦ χρωτὸς αὐτοῦ σουδάρια ἢ σιμικίνθια καὶ ἀπαλλάσσεσθαι ἀπ' αὐτῶν τὰς νόσους τά τε πνεύματα τὰ πονηρὰ ἐξέρχεσθαι ἀπ' αὐτῶν
So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them.
