All the inhabitants of the hill country from Lebanon unto Misrephoth-maim, and all the Sidonians, them will I drive out from before the children of Israel: only divide thou it by lot unto the Israelites for an inheritance, as I have commanded thee.

And Hebron, and Rehob, and Hammon, and Kanah, even unto great Zidon;
אָשֵׁר לֹא הוֹרִישׁ אֶת-יֹֽשְׁבֵי עַכּוֹ וְאֶת-יֽוֹשְׁבֵי צִידוֹן וְאֶת-אַחְלָב וְאֶת-אַכְזִיב וְאֶת-חֶלְבָּה וְאֶת-אֲפִיק וְאֶת-רְחֹֽב׃
Neither did Asher drive out the inhabitants of Accho, nor the inhabitants of Zidon, nor of Ahlab, nor of Achzib, nor of Helbah, nor of Aphik, nor of Rehob:
זְבוּלֻן לְחוֹף יַמִּים יִשְׁכֹּן וְהוּא לְחוֹף אֳנִיֹּת וְיַרְכָתוֹ עַל-צִידֹֽן׃
Zebulun shall dwell at the haven of the sea; and he shall be for an haven of ships; and his border shall be unto Zidon.
Τούτους τοὺς δώδεκα ἀπέστειλεν ὁ Ἰησοῦς παραγγείλας αὐτοῖς λέγων Εἰς ὁδὸν ἐθνῶν μὴ ἀπέλθητε καὶ εἰς πόλιν Σαμαρειτῶν μὴ εἰσέλθητε·
These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:
וַיִּתְּנֵם יְהוָה בְּיַֽד-יִשְׂרָאֵל וַיַּכּוּם וַֽיִּרְדְּפוּם עַד-צִידוֹן רַבָּה וְעַד מִשְׂרְפוֹת מַיִם וְעַד-בִּקְעַת מִצְפֶּה מִזְרָחָה וַיַּכֻּם עַד-בִּלְתִּי הִשְׁאִֽיר-לָהֶם שָׂרִֽיד׃
And the LORD delivered them into the hand of Israel, who smote them, and chased them unto great Zidon, and unto Misrephoth-maim, and unto the valley of Mizpeh eastward; and they smote them, until they left them none remaining.
