And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:
וְהִנֵּה-יָד נָגְעָה בִּי וַתְּנִיעֵנִי עַל-בִּרְכַּי וְכַפּוֹת יָדָֽי׃
And, behold, an hand touched me, which set me upon my knees and upon the palms of my hands.
ἐμφόβων δὲ γενομένων αὐτῶν καὶ κλινουσῶν τὸ πρόσωπον εἰς τὴν γῆν εἶπον πρὸς αὐτάς Τί ζητεῖτε τὸν ζῶντα μετὰ τῶν νεκρῶν·
And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead?
וְעוֹד אֲנִי מְדַבֵּר בַּתְּפִלָּה וְהָאִישׁ גַּבְרִיאֵל אֲשֶׁר רָאִיתִי בֶחָזוֹן בַּתְּחִלָּה מֻעָף בִּיעָף נֹגֵעַ אֵלַי כְּעֵת מִנְחַת-עָֽרֶב׃
Yea, whiles I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation.
Τρέμων τε καὶ θαμβῶν εἶπεν κύριε τί μέ θέλεις ποιῆσαι καὶ ὅ κύριος πρός αὐτόν ἀνάστηθι καὶ εἴσελθε εἰς τὴν πόλιν καὶ λαληθήσεταί σοι τί σε δεῖ ποιεῖν
And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.
