Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.
τὸν δὲ βραχύ τι παρ' ἀγγέλους ἠλαττωμένον βλέπομεν Ἰησοῦν διὰ τὸ πάθημα τοῦ θανάτου δόξῃ καὶ τιμῇ ἐστεφανωμένον ὅπως χάριτι θεοῦ ὑπὲρ παντὸς γεύσηται θανάτου
But we see Jesus, who was made lower a little than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace should of God taste death for every man.
הִנֵּה יַשְׂכִּיל עַבְדִּי יָרוּם וְנִשָּׂא וְגָבַהּ מְאֹֽד׃
Behold, my servant shall deal prudently, he shall be exalted and extolled, and be very high.
ἣν ἐνήργησεν ἐν τῷ Χριστῷ ἐγείρας αὐτὸν ἐκ νεκρῶν καὶ ἐκάθισεν ἐν δεξιᾷ αὐτοῦ ἐν τοῖς ἐπουρανίοις
Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,
וְלֵהּ יְהִב שָׁלְטָן וִיקָר וּמַלְכוּ וְכֹל עַֽמְמַיָּא אֻמַיָּא וְלִשָּׁנַיָּא לֵהּ יִפְלְחוּן שָׁלְטָנֵהּ שָׁלְטָן עָלַם דִּֽי-לָא יֶעְדֵּה וּמַלְכוּתֵהּ דִּי-לָא תִתְחַבַּֽל׃
And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.
λέγοντες φωνῇ μεγάλῃ Ἄξιόν ἐστιν τὸ ἀρνίον τὸ ἐσφαγμένον λαβεῖν τὴν δύναμιν καὶ πλοῦτον καὶ σοφίαν καὶ ἰσχὺν καὶ τιμὴν καὶ δόξαν καὶ εὐλογίαν
Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.
τοσούτῳ κρείττων γενόμενος τῶν ἀγγέλων ὅσῳ διαφορώτερον παρ' αὐτοὺς κεκληρονόμηκεν ὄνομα
Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.
אַף-אָנִי בְּכוֹר אֶתְּנֵהוּ עֶלְיוֹן לְמַלְכֵי-אָֽרֶץ׃
Also I will make him my firstborn, higher than the kings of the earth.
יְהִי שְׁמוֹ לְֽעוֹלָם לִפְנֵי-שֶׁמֶשׁ יִנּוֹן שְׁמוֹ וְיִתְבָּרְכוּ בוֹ כָּל-גּוֹיִם יְאַשְּׁרֽוּהוּ׃
His name shall endure for ever: his name shall be continued as long as the sun: and men shall be blessed in him: all nations shall call him blessed.
καὶ νῦν δόξασόν με σύ πάτερ παρὰ σεαυτῷ τῇ δόξῃ ᾗ εἶχον πρὸ τοῦ τὸν κόσμον εἶναι παρὰ σοί
And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.
ἀφορῶντες εἰς τὸν τῆς πίστεως ἀρχηγὸν καὶ τελειωτὴν Ἰησοῦν ὃς ἀντὶ τῆς προκειμένης αὐτῷ χαρᾶς ὑπέμεινεν σταυρὸν αἰσχύνης καταφρονήσας ἐν δεξιᾷ τε τοῦ θρόνου τοῦ θεοῦ εκάθισεν
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
לָכֵן אֲחַלֶּק-לוֹ בָרַבִּים וְאֶת-עֲצוּמִים יְחַלֵּק שָׁלָל תַּחַת אֲשֶׁר הֶעֱרָה לַמָּוֶת נַפְשׁוֹ וְאֶת-פֹּשְׁעִים נִמְנָה וְהוּא חֵטְא-רַבִּים נָשָׂא וְלַפֹּשְׁעִים יַפְגִּֽיעַ׃
Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.
נְאֻם יְהוָה׀ לַֽאדֹנִי שֵׁב לִֽימִינִי עַד-אָשִׁית אֹיְבֶיךָ הֲדֹם לְרַגְלֶֽיךָ׃
The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.
οὐδὲ γὰρ ὁ πατὴρ κρίνει οὐδένα ἀλλὰ τὴν κρίσιν πᾶσαν δέδωκεν τῷ υἱῷ
For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:
Ταῦτα ἐλάλησεν ὁ Ἰησοῦς καὶ ἐπῆρεν τοὺς ὀφθαλμοὺς αὐτοῦ εἰς τὸν οὐρανὸν καὶ εἶπεν Πάτερ ἐλήλυθεν ἡ ὥρα· δόξασόν σου τὸν υἱόν ἵνα καὶ ὁ υἱὸς σου δοξάσῃ σέ
These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee:
τοῦτον τὸν Ἰησοῦν ἀνέστησεν ὁ θεός οὗ πάντες ἡμεῖς ἐσμεν μάρτυρες·
This Jesus hath up, God raised whereof we all are witnesses.
כִּי בִי חָשַׁק וַאֲפַלְּטֵהוּ אֲשַׂגְּבֵהוּ כִּֽי-יָדַע שְׁמִֽי׃
Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
אֲדֹנָי עַל-יְמִֽינְךָ מָחַץ בְּיוֹם-אַפּוֹ מְלָכִֽים׃
The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath.
