After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.
ἔπειτα ἡμεῖς οἱ ζῶντες οἱ περιλειπόμενοι ἅμα σὺν αὐτοῖς ἁρπαγησόμεθα ἐν νεφέλαις εἰς ἀπάντησιν τοῦ κυρίου εἰς ἀέρα· καὶ οὕτως πάντοτε σὺν κυρίῳ ἐσόμεθα
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
καὶ ὄντας ἡμᾶς νεκροὺς τοῖς παραπτώμασιν συνεζωοποίησεν τῷ Χριστῷ χάριτί ἐστε σεσῳσμένοι
Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
καὶ ἔτεκεν υἱόν ἄῤῥενα ὃς μέλλει ποιμαίνειν πάντα τὰ ἔθνη ἐν ῥάβδῳ σιδηρᾷ καὶ ἡρπάσθη τὸ τέκνον αὐτῆς πρὸς τὸν θεὸν καὶ τὸν θρόνον αὐτοῦ
And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.

Who are these that fly as a cloud, and as the doves to their windows?
וַיִּגְּשׁוּ בְנֵֽי-הַנְּבִיאִים אֲשֶׁר-בִּֽירִיחוֹ אֶל-אֱלִישָׁע וַיֹּֽאמְרוּ אֵלָיו הֲיָדַעְתָּ כִּי הַיּוֹם יְהוָה לֹקֵחַ אֶת-אֲדֹנֶיךָ מֵעַל רֹאשֶׁךָ וַיֹּאמֶר גַּם-אֲנִי יָדַעְתִּי הֶֽחֱשֽׁוּ׃
And the sons of the prophets that were at Jericho came to Elisha, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the LORD will take away thy master from thy head to day? And he answered, Yea, I know it; hold ye your peace.
רָשָׁע יִרְאֶה׀ וְכָעָס שִׁנָּיו יַחֲרֹק וְנָמָס תַּאֲוַת רְשָׁעִים תֹּאבֵֽד׃
The wicked shall see it, and be grieved; he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away: the desire of the wicked shall perish.
וְשַׁבְתֶּם וּרְאִיתֶם בֵּין צַדִּיק לְרָשָׁע בֵּין עֹבֵד אֱלֹהִים לַאֲשֶׁר לֹא עֲבָדֽוֹ׃
Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.
מִֽי-יַעֲלֶה בְהַר-יְהוָה וּמִי-יָקוּם בִּמְקוֹם קָדְשֽׁוֹ׃
Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place?
וְאַתָּה אָמַרְתָּ בִֽלְבָבְךָ הַשָּׁמַיִם אֶֽעֱלֶה מִמַּעַל לְכֽוֹכְבֵי-אֵל אָרִים כִּסְאִי וְאֵשֵׁב בְּהַר-מוֹעֵד בְּיַרְכְּתֵי צָפֽוֹן׃
For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
וַיָּסַר אֵת אֹפַן מַרְכְּבֹתָיו וַֽיְנַהֲגֵהוּ בִּכְבֵדֻת וַיֹּאמֶר מִצְרַיִם אָנוּסָה מִפְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל כִּי יְהוָה נִלְחָם לָהֶם בְּמִצְרָֽיִם׃

Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
יְהוָֹה מִי-יָגוּר בְּאָהֳלֶךָ מִֽי-יִשְׁכֹּן בְּהַר קָדְשֶֽׁךָ׃
LORD, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill?
וַֽחֲמִשִּׁים אִישׁ מִבְּנֵי הַנְּבִיאִים הָֽלְכוּ וַיַּֽעַמְדוּ מִנֶּגֶד מֵֽרָחוֹק וּשְׁנֵיהֶם עָֽמְדוּ עַל-הַיַּרְדֵּֽן׃
