כִּי אִם בְּתוֹרַת יְהוָה חֶפְצוֹ וּֽבְתוֹרָתוֹ יֶהְגֶּה יוֹמָם וָלָֽיְלָה׃
But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
לַֽעֲשֽׂוֹת-רְצוֹנְךָ אֱלֹהַי חָפָצְתִּי וְתוֹרָתְךָ בְּתוֹךְ מֵעָֽי׃
I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.
הַדְרִיכֵנִי בִּנְתִיב מִצְוֹתֶיךָ כִּי-בוֹ חָפָֽצְתִּי׃
Make me to go in the path of thy commandments; for therein do I delight.
וְאֶשְׁתַּֽעֲשַׁע בְּמִצְוֹתֶיךָ אֲשֶׁר אָהָֽבְתִּי׃
And I will delight myself in thy commandments, which I have loved.
מִצְוַת שְׂפָתָיו וְלֹא אָמִישׁ מֵחֻקִּי צָפַנְתִּי אִמְרֵי-פִֽיו׃
Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.
ὅτι αὕτη ἡ διαθήκη ἣν διαθήσομαι τῷ οἴκῳ Ἰσραὴλ μετὰ τὰς ἡμέρας ἐκείνας λέγει κύριος· διδοὺς νόμους μου εἰς τὴν διάνοιαν αὐτῶν καὶ ἐπὶ καρδίας αὐτῶν ἐπιγράψω αὐτούς καὶ ἔσομαι αὐτοῖς εἰς θεόν καὶ αὐτοὶ ἔσονταί μοι εἰς λαόν·
For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:
מָֽה-אָהַבְתִּי תוֹרָתֶךָ כָּל-הַיּוֹם הִיא שִׂיחָתִֽי׃
O how love I thy law! it is my meditation all the day.
Διὸ οὐκ ἐκκακοῦμεν ἀλλ' εἰ καὶ ὁ ἔξω ἡμῶν ἄνθρωπος διαφθείρεται ἀλλ' ὁ ἔσωθεν ἀνακαινοῦται ἡμέρᾳ καὶ ἡμέρᾳ
For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
לוּלֵי תוֹרָתְךָ שַׁעֲשֻׁעָי אָז אָבַדְתִּי בְעָנְיִֽי׃
Unless thy law had been my delights, I should then have perished in mine affliction.
בְּחֻקֹּתֶיךָ אֶֽשְׁתַּעֲשָׁע לֹא אֶשְׁכַּח דְּבָרֶֽךָ׃
I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.
פִּקּוּדֵי יְהוָה יְשָׁרִים מְשַׂמְּחֵי-לֵב מִצְוַת יְהוָה בָּרָה מְאִירַת עֵינָֽיִם׃
The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.
תָּאַבְתִּי לִֽישׁוּעָתְךָ יְהוָה וְתֽוֹרָתְךָ שַׁעֲשֻׁעָֽי׃
I have longed for thy salvation, O LORD; and thy law is my delight.
שָֽׁמְרָה נַפְשִׁי עֵדֹתֶיךָ וָאֹהֲבֵם מְאֹֽד׃
My soul hath kept thy testimonies; and I love them exceedingly.
ἵνα δῴη ὑμῖν κατὰ τὸν πλοῦτον τῆς δόξης αὐτοῦ δυνάμει κραταιωθῆναι διὰ τοῦ πνεύματος αὐτοῦ εἰς τὸν ἔσω ἄνθρωπον
That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;
διότι τὸ φρόνημα τῆς σαρκὸς ἔχθρα εἰς θεόν τῷ γὰρ νόμῳ τοῦ θεοῦ οὐχ ὑποτάσσεται οὐδὲ γὰρ δύναται·
Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
ἀλλ' ὁ κρυπτὸς τῆς καρδίας ἄνθρωπος ἐν τῷ ἀφθάρτῳ τοῦ πρᾳέος καὶ ἡσυχίου πνεύματος ὅ ἐστιν ἐνώπιον τοῦ θεοῦ πολυτελές
But let it be the hidden man of the of heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight God of great price.
נָחַלְתִּי עֵדְוֺתֶיךָ לְעוֹלָם כִּֽי-שְׂשׂוֹן לִבִּי הֵֽמָּה׃
Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever: for they are the rejoicing of my heart.
טֽוֹב-לִי תֽוֹרַת-פִּיךָ מֵאַלְפֵי זָהָב וָכָֽסֶף׃
The law of thy mouth is better unto me than thousands of gold and silver.
גַּֽם-עֵדֹתֶיךָ שַׁעֲשֻׁעָי אַנְשֵׁי עֲצָתִֽי׃
Thy testimonies also are my delight and my counsellers.
שִׁמְעוּ אֵלַי יֹדְעֵי צֶדֶק עַם תּוֹרָתִי בְלִבָּם אַל-תִּֽירְאוּ חֶרְפַּת אֱנוֹשׁ וּמִגִּדֻּפֹתָם אַל-תֵּחָֽתּוּ׃
Hearken unto me, ye that know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law; fear ye not the reproach of men, neither be ye afraid of their revilings.
