Let as many as servants are under the yoke count their own masters worthy of all honour, that the name of God and his doctrine be not blasphemed.
Οἱ δοῦλοι ὑπακούετε κατὰ πάντα τοῖς κατὰ σάρκα κυρίοις μὴ ἐν ὀφθαλμοδουλείαις ὡς ἀνθρωπάρεσκοι ἀλλ' ἐν ἁπλότητι καρδίας φοβούμενοι τὸν Θεόν·
Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God:
Οἱ δοῦλοι ὑπακούετε τοῖς κυρίοις κατὰ σάρκα μετὰ φόβου καὶ τρόμου ἐν ἁπλότητι τῆς καρδίας ὑμῶν ὡς τῷ Χριστῷ
Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ;
ἀλλ' ὡσπερ ἡ ἐκκλησία ὑποτάσσεται τῷ Χριστῷ οὕτως καὶ αἱ γυναῖκες τοῖς ἰδίοις ἀνδράσιν ἐν παντί
Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.
