וּלְשֵׁם יֻלַּד גַּם-הוּא אֲבִי כָּל-בְּנֵי-עֵבֶר אֲחִי יֶפֶת הַגָּדֽוֹל׃

Unto Shem also, the father of all the children of Eber, the brother of Japheth the elder, even to him were children born.

וְאַרְפַּכְשַׁד יָלַד אֶת-שָׁלַח וְשֶׁלַח יָלַד אֶת-עֵֽבֶר׃

And Arphaxad begat Salah; and Salah begat Eber.

וּלְעֵבֶר יֻלַּד שְׁנֵי בָנִים שֵׁם הָֽאֶחָד פֶּלֶג כִּי בְיָמָיו נִפְלְגָה הָאָרֶץ וְשֵׁם אָחִיו יָקְטָֽן׃

And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of one was Peleg; for in his days was the earth divided; and his brother's name was Joktan.

וְשֶׁלַח חַי שְׁלֹשִׁים שָׁנָה וַיּוֹלֶד אֶת-עֵֽבֶר׃

And Salah lived thirty years, and begat Eber:

וַֽיְחִי-שֶׁלַח אַֽחֲרֵי הֽוֹלִידוֹ אֶת-עֵבֶר שָׁלֹשׁ שָׁנִים וְאַרְבַּע מֵאוֹת שָׁנָה וַיּוֹלֶד בָּנִים וּבָנֽוֹת׃

And Salah lived after he begat Eber four hundred and three years, and begat sons and daughters.

וַֽיְחִי-עֵבֶר אַרְבַּע וּשְׁלֹשִׁים שָׁנָה וַיּוֹלֶד אֶת-פָּֽלֶג׃

And Eber lived four and thirty years, and begat Peleg:

וַֽיְחִי-עֵבֶר אַֽחֲרֵי הֽוֹלִידוֹ אֶת-פֶּלֶג שְׁלֹשִׁים שָׁנָה וְאַרְבַּע מֵאוֹת שָׁנָה וַיּוֹלֶד בָּנִים וּבָנֽוֹת׃

And Eber lived after he begat Peleg four hundred and thirty years, and begat sons and daughters.

וְצִים מִיַּד כִּתִּים וְעִנּוּ אַשּׁוּר וְעִנּוּ-עֵבֶר וְגַם-הוּא עֲדֵי אֹבֵֽד׃

And ships shall come from the coast of Chittim, and shall afflict Asshur, and shall afflict Eber, and he also shall perish for ever.

וְאַרְפַּכְשַׁד יָלַד אֶת-שָׁלַח וְשֶׁלַח יָלַד אֶת-עֵֽבֶר׃

And Arphaxad begat Shelah, and Shelah begat Eber.

And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of the one was Peleg; because in his days the earth was divided: and his brother's name was Joktan.

עֵבֶר פֶּלֶג רְעֽוּ׃

Eber, Peleg, Reu,

וַֽאֲחֵיהֶם לְבֵית אֲבֽוֹתֵיהֶם מִֽיכָאֵל וּמְשֻׁלָּם וְשֶׁבַע וְיוֹרַי וְיַעְכָּן וְזִיעַ וָעֵבֶר שִׁבְעָֽה׃

And their brethren of the house of their fathers were, Michael, and Meshullam, and Sheba, and Jorai, and Jachan, and Zia, and Heber, seven.

וּבְנֵי אֶלְפַּעַל עֵבֶר וּמִשְׁעָם וָשָׁמֶד הוּא בָּנָה אֶת-אוֹנוֹ וְאֶת-לֹד וּבְנֹתֶֽיהָ׃

The sons of Elpaal; Eber, and Misham, and Shamed, who built Ono, and Lod, with the towns thereof:

וְיִשְׁפָּן וָעֵבֶר וֶֽאֱלִיאֵֽל׃

And Ishpan, and Heber, and Eliel,

לְסַלַּי קַלָּי לְעָמוֹק עֵֽבֶר׃

Of Sallai, Kallai; of Amok, Eber;
