וְהַדָּוָה בְּנִדָּתָהּ וְהַזָּב אֶת-זוֹבוֹ לַזָּכָר וְלַנְּקֵבָה וּלְאִישׁ אֲשֶׁר יִשְׁכַּב עִם-טְמֵאָֽה׃
And of her that is sick of her flowers, and of him that hath an issue, of the man, and of the woman, and of him that lieth with her that is unclean.
וְכָל-אָדָם לֹֽא-יִהְיֶה׀ בְּאֹהֶל מוֹעֵד בְּבֹאוֹ לְכַפֵּר בַּקֹּדֶשׁ עַד-צֵאתוֹ וְכִפֶּר בַּֽעֲדוֹ וּבְעַד בֵּיתוֹ וּבְעַד כָּל-קְהַל יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
And there shall be no man in the tabernacle of the congregation when he goeth in to make an atonement in the holy place, until he come out, and have made an atonement for himself, and for his household, and for all the congregation of Israel.
וְסָמַךְ אַֽהֲרֹן אֶת-שְׁתֵּי (ידו) יָדָיו עַל רֹאשׁ הַשָּׂעִיר הַחַי וְהִתְוַדָּה עָלָיו אֶת-כָּל-עֲוֹנֹת בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וְאֶת-כָּל-פִּשְׁעֵיהֶם לְכָל-חַטֹּאתָם וְנָתַן אֹתָם עַל-רֹאשׁ הַשָּׂעִיר וְשִׁלַּח בְּיַד-אִישׁ עִתִּי הַמִּדְבָּֽרָה׃
And Aaron shall lay both his hands upon the head of the live goat, and confess over him all the iniquities of the children of Israel, and all their transgressions in all their sins, putting them upon the head of the goat, and shall send him away by the hand of a fit man into the wilderness:
אִישׁ אִישׁ מִבֵּית יִשְׂרָאֵל אֲשֶׁר יִשְׁחַט שׁוֹר אוֹ-כֶשֶׂב אוֹ-עֵז בַּֽמַּחֲנֶה אוֹ אֲשֶׁר יִשְׁחַט מִחוּץ לַֽמַּחֲנֶֽה׃
What man soever there be of the house of Israel, that killeth an ox, or lamb, or goat, in the camp, or that killeth it out of the camp,
וְאֶל-פֶּתַח אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד לֹא הֱבִיאוֹ לְהַקְרִיב קָרְבָּן לַֽיהוָה לִפְנֵי מִשְׁכַּן יְהוָה דָּם יֵֽחָשֵׁב לָאִישׁ הַהוּא דָּם שָׁפָךְ וְנִכְרַת הָאִישׁ הַהוּא מִקֶּרֶב עַמּֽוֹ׃
And bringeth it not unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, to offer an offering unto the LORD before the tabernacle of the LORD; blood shall be imputed unto that man; he hath shed blood; and that man shall be cut off from among his people:
וַֽאֲלֵהֶם תֹּאמַר אִישׁ אִישׁ מִבֵּית יִשְׂרָאֵל וּמִן-הַגֵּר אֲשֶׁר-יָגוּר בְּתוֹכָם אֲשֶׁר-יַֽעֲלֶה עֹלָה אוֹ-זָֽבַח׃
And thou shalt say unto them, Whatsoever man there be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers which sojourn among you, that offereth a burnt offering or sacrifice,
וְאֶל-פֶּתַח אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד לֹא יְבִיאֶנּוּ לַֽעֲשׂוֹת אֹתוֹ לַֽיהוָה וְנִכְרַת הָאִישׁ הַהוּא מֵֽעַמָּֽיו׃
And bringeth it not unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, to offer it unto the LORD; even that man shall be cut off from among his people.
וְאִישׁ אִישׁ מִבֵּית יִשְׂרָאֵל וּמִן-הַגֵּר הַגָּר בְּתוֹכָם אֲשֶׁר יֹאכַל כָּל-דָּם וְנָֽתַתִּי פָנַי בַּנֶּפֶשׁ הָֽאֹכֶלֶת אֶת-הַדָּם וְהִכְרַתִּי אֹתָהּ מִקֶּרֶב עַמָּֽהּ׃
And whatsoever man there be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, that eateth any manner of blood; I will even set my face against that soul that eateth blood, and will cut him off from among his people.
וְאִישׁ אִישׁ מִבְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וּמִן-הַגֵּר הַגָּר בְּתוֹכָם אֲשֶׁר יָצוּד צֵיד חַיָּה אוֹ-עוֹף אֲשֶׁר יֵֽאָכֵל וְשָׁפַךְ אֶת-דָּמוֹ וְכִסָּהוּ בֶּֽעָפָֽר׃
And whatsoever man there be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, which hunteth and catcheth any beast or fowl that may be eaten; he shall even pour out the blood thereof, and cover it with dust.
וּשְׁמַרְתֶּם אֶת-חֻקֹּתַי וְאֶת-מִשְׁפָּטַי אֲשֶׁר יַֽעֲשֶׂה אֹתָם הָֽאָדָם וָחַי בָּהֶם אֲנִי יְהוָֽה׃
Ye shall therefore keep my statutes, and my judgments: which if a man do, he shall live in them: I am the LORD.
אִישׁ אִישׁ אֶל-כָּל-שְׁאֵר בְּשָׂרוֹ לֹא תִקְרְבוּ לְגַלּוֹת עֶרְוָה אֲנִי יְהוָֽה׃
None of you shall approach to any that is near of kin to him, to uncover their nakedness: I am the LORD.
כִּי אֶת-כָּל-הַתּֽוֹעֵבֹת הָאֵל עָשׂוּ אַנְשֵֽׁי-הָאָרֶץ אֲשֶׁר לִפְנֵיכֶם וַתִּטְמָא הָאָֽרֶץ׃
(For all these abominations have the men of the land done, which were before you, and the land is defiled;)
אִישׁ אִמּוֹ וְאָבִיו תִּירָאוּ וְאֶת-שַׁבְּתֹתַי תִּשְׁמֹרוּ אֲנִי יְהוָה אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶֽם׃
Ye shall fear every man his mother, and his father, and keep my sabbaths: I am the LORD your God.
לֹא תִּגְנֹבוּ וְלֹֽא-תְכַחֲשׁוּ וְלֹֽא-תְשַׁקְּרוּ אִישׁ בַּֽעֲמִיתֽוֹ׃
Ye shall not steal, neither deal falsely, neither lie one to another.
וְאִישׁ כִּֽי-יִשְׁכַּב אֶת-אִשָּׁה שִׁכְבַת-זֶרַע וְהִוא שִׁפְחָה נֶֽחֱרֶפֶת לְאִישׁ וְהָפְדֵּה לֹא נִפְדָּתָה אוֹ חֻפְשָׁה לֹא נִתַּן-לָהּ בִּקֹּרֶת תִּֽהְיֶה לֹא יֽוּמְתוּ כִּי-לֹא חֻפָּֽשָׁה׃
And whosoever lieth carnally with a woman, that is a bondmaid, betrothed to an husband, and not at all redeemed, nor freedom given her; she shall be scourged; they shall not be put to death, because she was not free.
וְאֶל-בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל תֹּאמַר אִישׁ אִישׁ מִבְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וּמִן-הַגֵּר׀ הַגָּר בְּיִשְׂרָאֵל אֲשֶׁר יִתֵּן מִזַּרְעוֹ לַמֹּלֶךְ מוֹת יוּמָת עַם הָאָרֶץ יִרְגְּמֻהוּ בָאָֽבֶן׃
Again, thou shalt say to the children of Israel, Whosoever he be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn in Israel, that giveth any of his seed unto Molech; he shall surely be put to death: the people of the land shall stone him with stones.
וַֽאֲנִי אֶתֵּן אֶת-פָּנַי בָּאִישׁ הַהוּא וְהִכְרַתִּי אֹתוֹ מִקֶּרֶב עַמּוֹ כִּי מִזַּרְעוֹ נָתַן לַמֹּלֶךְ לְמַעַן טַמֵּא אֶת-מִקְדָּשִׁי וּלְחַלֵּל אֶת-שֵׁם קָדְשִֽׁי׃
And I will set my face against that man, and will cut him off from among his people; because he hath given of his seed unto Molech, to defile my sanctuary, and to profane my holy name.
וְאִם הַעְלֵם יַעְלִימֽוּ עַם הָאָרֶץ אֶת-עֵֽינֵיהֶם מִן-הָאִישׁ הַהוּא בְּתִתּוֹ מִזַּרְעוֹ לַמֹּלֶךְ לְבִלְתִּי הָמִית אֹתֽוֹ׃
And if the people of the land do any ways hide their eyes from the man, when he giveth of his seed unto Molech, and kill him not:
וְשַׂמְתִּי אֲנִי אֶת-פָּנַי בָּאִישׁ הַהוּא וּבְמִשְׁפַּחְתּוֹ וְהִכְרַתִּי אֹתוֹ וְאֵת׀ כָּל-הַזֹּנִים אַֽחֲרָיו לִזְנוֹת אַֽחֲרֵי הַמֹּלֶךְ מִקֶּרֶב עַמָּֽם׃
Then I will set my face against that man, and against his family, and will cut him off, and all that go a whoring after him, to commit whoredom with Molech, from among their people.
כִּֽי-אִישׁ אִישׁ אֲשֶׁר יְקַלֵּל אֶת-אָבִיו וְאֶת-אִמּוֹ מוֹת יוּמָת אָבִיו וְאִמּוֹ קִלֵּל דָּמָיו בּֽוֹ׃
For every one that curseth his father or his mother shall be surely put to death: he hath cursed his father or his mother; his blood shall be upon him.
וְאִישׁ אֲשֶׁר יִנְאַף אֶת-אֵשֶׁת אִישׁ אֲשֶׁר יִנְאַף אֶת-אֵשֶׁת רֵעֵהוּ מֽוֹת-יוּמַת הַנֹּאֵף וְהַנֹּאָֽפֶת׃
And the man that committeth adultery with another man's wife, even he that committeth adultery with his neighbour's wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.
וְאִישׁ אֲשֶׁר יִשְׁכַּב אֶת-אֵשֶׁת אָבִיו עֶרְוַת אָבִיו גִּלָּה מֽוֹת-יוּמְתוּ שְׁנֵיהֶם דְּמֵיהֶם בָּֽם׃
And the man that lieth with his father's wife hath uncovered his father's nakedness: both of them shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
וְאִישׁ אֲשֶׁר יִשְׁכַּב אֶת-כַּלָּתוֹ מוֹת יֽוּמְתוּ שְׁנֵיהֶם תֶּבֶל עָשׂוּ דְּמֵיהֶם בָּֽם׃
And if a man lie with his daughter in law, both of them shall surely be put to death: they have wrought confusion; their blood shall be upon them.
וְאִישׁ אֲשֶׁר יִשְׁכַּב אֶת-זָכָר מִשְׁכְּבֵי אִשָּׁה תּֽוֹעֵבָה עָשׂוּ שְׁנֵיהֶם מוֹת יוּמָתוּ דְּמֵיהֶם בָּֽם׃
If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
וְאִישׁ אֲשֶׁר יִקַּח אֶת-אִשָּׁה וְאֶת-אִמָּהּ זִמָּה הִוא בָּאֵשׁ יִשְׂרְפוּ אֹתוֹ וְאֶתְהֶן וְלֹֽא-תִהְיֶה זִמָּה בְּתֽוֹכְכֶֽם׃
And if a man take a wife and her mother, it is wickedness: they shall be burnt with fire, both he and they; that there be no wickedness among you.
וְאִישׁ אֲשֶׁר יִתֵּן שְׁכָבְתּוֹ בִּבְהֵמָה מוֹת יוּמָת וְאֶת-הַבְּהֵמָה תַּֽהֲרֹֽגוּ׃
And if a man lie with a beast, he shall surely be put to death: and ye shall slay the beast.
וְאִישׁ אֲשֶׁר-יִקַּח אֶת-אֲחֹתוֹ בַּת-אָבִיו אוֹ בַת-אִמּוֹ וְרָאָה אֶת-עֶרְוָתָהּ וְהִֽיא-תִרְאֶה אֶת-עֶרְוָתוֹ חֶסֶד הוּא וְנִכְרְתוּ לְעֵינֵי בְּנֵי עַמָּם עֶרְוַת אֲחֹתוֹ גִּלָּה עֲוֹנוֹ יִשָּֽׂא׃
And if a man shall take his sister, his father's daughter, or his mother's daughter, and see her nakedness, and she see his nakedness; it is a wicked thing; and they shall be cut off in the sight of their people: he hath uncovered his sister's nakedness; he shall bear his iniquity.
וְאִישׁ אֲשֶׁר-יִשְׁכַּב אֶת-אִשָּׁה דָּוָה וְגִלָּה אֶת-עֶרְוָתָהּ אֶת-מְקֹרָהּ הֶֽעֱרָה וְהִוא גִּלְּתָה אֶת-מְקוֹר דָּמֶיהָ וְנִכְרְתוּ שְׁנֵיהֶם מִקֶּרֶב עַמָּֽם׃
And if a man shall lie with a woman having her sickness, and shall uncover her nakedness; he hath discovered her fountain, and she hath uncovered the fountain of her blood: and both of them shall be cut off from among their people.
וְאִישׁ אֲשֶׁר יִשְׁכַּב אֶת-דֹּדָתוֹ עֶרְוַת דֹּדוֹ גִּלָּה חֶטְאָם יִשָּׂאוּ עֲרִירִים יָמֻֽתוּ׃
And if a man shall lie with his uncle's wife, he hath uncovered his uncle's nakedness: they shall bear their sin; they shall die childless.
וְאִישׁ אֲשֶׁר יִקַּח אֶת-אֵשֶׁת אָחִיו נִדָּה הִוא עֶרְוַת אָחִיו גִּלָּה עֲרִירִים יִֽהְיֽוּ׃
And if a man shall take his brother's wife, it is an unclean thing: he hath uncovered his brother's nakedness; they shall be childless.
וְאִישׁ אֽוֹ-אִשָּׁה כִּֽי-יִהְיֶה בָהֶם אוֹב אוֹ יִדְּעֹנִי מוֹת יוּמָתוּ בָּאֶבֶן יִרְגְּמוּ אֹתָם דְּמֵיהֶם בָּֽם׃
A man also or woman that hath a familiar spirit, or that is a wizard, shall surely be put to death: they shall stone them with stones: their blood shall be upon them.
וְלַֽאֲחֹתוֹ הַבְּתוּלָה הַקְּרוֹבָה אֵלָיו אֲשֶׁר לֹֽא-הָיְתָה לְאִישׁ לָהּ יִטַּמָּֽא׃
And for his sister a virgin, that is nigh unto him, which hath had no husband; for her may he be defiled.
לֹא יִטַּמָּא בַּעַל בְּעַמָּיו לְהֵחַלּֽוֹ׃
But he shall not defile himself, being a chief man among his people, to profane himself.
אִשָּׁה זֹנָה וַֽחֲלָלָה לֹא יִקָּחוּ וְאִשָּׁה גְּרוּשָׁה מֵֽאִישָׁהּ לֹא יִקָּחוּ כִּֽי-קָדֹשׁ הוּא לֵֽאלֹהָֽיו׃
They shall not take a wife that is a whore, or profane; neither shall they take a woman put away from her husband: for he is holy unto his God.
וּבַת אִישׁ כֹּהֵן כִּי תֵחֵל לִזְנוֹת אֶת-אָבִיהָ הִיא מְחַלֶּלֶת בָּאֵשׁ תִּשָּׂרֵֽף׃
And the daughter of any priest, if she profane herself by playing the whore, she profaneth her father: she shall be burnt with fire.
דַּבֵּר אֶֽל-אַהֲרֹן לֵאמֹר אִישׁ מִֽזַּרְעֲךָ לְדֹֽרֹתָם אֲשֶׁר יִֽהְיֶה בוֹ מוּם לֹא יִקְרַב לְהַקְרִיב לֶחֶם אֱלֹהָֽיו׃
Speak unto Aaron, saying, Whosoever he be of thy seed in their generations that hath any blemish, let him not approach to offer the bread of his God.
כִּי כָל-אִישׁ אֲשֶׁר-בּוֹ מוּם לֹא יִקְרָב אִישׁ עִוֵּר אוֹ פִסֵּחַ אוֹ חָרֻם אוֹ שָׂרֽוּעַ׃
For whatsoever man he be that hath a blemish, he shall not approach: a blind man, or a lame, or he that hath a flat nose, or any thing superfluous,
אוֹ אִישׁ אֲשֶׁר-יִֽהְיֶה בוֹ שֶׁבֶר רָגֶל אוֹ שֶׁבֶר יָֽד׃
Or a man that is brokenfooted, or brokenhanded,
כָּל-אִישׁ אֲשֶׁר-בּוֹ מוּם מִזֶּרַע אַֽהֲרֹן הַכֹּהֵן לֹא יִגַּשׁ לְהַקְרִיב אֶת-אִשֵּׁי יְהוָה מוּם בּוֹ אֵת לֶחֶם אֱלֹהָיו לֹא יִגַּשׁ לְהַקְרִֽיב׃
No man that hath a blemish of the seed of Aaron the priest shall come nigh to offer the offerings of the LORD made by fire: he hath a blemish; he shall not come nigh to offer the bread of his God.
אֱמֹר אֲלֵהֶם לְדֹרֹתֵיכֶם כָּל-אִישׁ׀ אֲשֶׁר-יִקְרַב מִכָּל-זַרְעֲכֶם אֶל-הַקֳּדָשִׁים אֲשֶׁר יַקְדִּישׁוּ בְנֵֽי-יִשְׂרָאֵל לַֽיהוָה וְטֻמְאָתוֹ עָלָיו וְנִכְרְתָה הַנֶּפֶשׁ הַהִוא מִלְּפָנַי אֲנִי יְהוָֽה׃
Say unto them, Whosoever he be of all your seed among your generations, that goeth unto the holy things, which the children of Israel hallow unto the LORD, having his uncleanness upon him, that soul shall be cut off from my presence: I am the LORD.
אִישׁ אִישׁ מִזֶּרַע אַֽהֲרֹן וְהוּא צָרוּעַ אוֹ זָב בַּקֳּדָשִׁים לֹא יֹאכַל עַד אֲשֶׁר יִטְהָר וְהַנֹּגֵעַ בְּכָל-טְמֵא-נֶפֶשׁ אוֹ אִישׁ אֲשֶׁר-תֵּצֵא מִמֶּנּוּ שִׁכְבַת-זָֽרַע׃
What man soever of the seed of Aaron is a leper, or hath a running issue; he shall not eat of the holy things, until he be clean. And whoso toucheth any thing that is unclean by the dead, or a man whose seed goeth from him;
אוֹ-אִישׁ אֲשֶׁר יִגַּע בְּכָל-שֶׁרֶץ אֲשֶׁר יִטְמָא-לוֹ אוֹ בְאָדָם אֲשֶׁר יִטְמָא-לוֹ לְכֹל טֻמְאָתֽוֹ׃
Or whosoever toucheth any creeping thing, whereby he may be made unclean, or a man of whom he may take uncleanness, whatsoever uncleanness he hath;
וּבַת-כֹּהֵן כִּי תִֽהְיֶה לְאִישׁ זָר הִוא בִּתְרוּמַת הַקֳּדָשִׁים לֹא תֹאכֵֽל׃
If the priest's daughter also be married unto a stranger, she may not eat of an offering of the holy things.
וְאִישׁ כִּֽי-יֹאכַל קֹדֶשׁ בִּשְׁגָגָה וְיָסַף חֲמִֽשִׁיתוֹ עָלָיו וְנָתַן לַכֹּהֵן אֶת-הַקֹּֽדֶשׁ׃
And if a man eat of the holy thing unwittingly, then he shall put the fifth part thereof unto it, and shall give it unto the priest with the holy thing.
דַּבֵּר אֶֽל-אַהֲרֹן וְאֶל-בָּנָיו וְאֶל כָּל-בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וְאָֽמַרְתָּ אֲלֵהֶם אִישׁ אִישׁ מִבֵּית יִשְׂרָאֵל וּמִן-הַגֵּר בְּיִשְׂרָאֵל אֲשֶׁר יַקְרִיב קָרְבָּנוֹ לְכָל-נִדְרֵיהֶם וּלְכָל-נִדְבוֹתָם אֲשֶׁר-יַקְרִיבוּ לַֽיהוָה לְעֹלָֽה׃
Speak unto Aaron, and to his sons, and unto all the children of Israel, and say unto them, Whatsoever he be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers in Israel, that will offer his oblation for all his vows, and for all his freewill offerings, which they will offer unto the LORD for a burnt offering;
וְאִישׁ כִּֽי-יַקְרִיב זֶֽבַח-שְׁלָמִים לַֽיהוָה לְפַלֵּא-נֶדֶר אוֹ לִנְדָבָה בַּבָּקָר אוֹ בַצֹּאן תָּמִים יִֽהְיֶה לְרָצוֹן כָּל-מוּם לֹא יִֽהְיֶה-בּֽוֹ׃
And whosoever offereth a sacrifice of peace offerings unto the LORD to accomplish his vow, or a freewill offering in beeves or sheep, it shall be perfect to be accepted; there shall be no blemish therein.
וַיֵּצֵא בֶּן-אִשָּׁה יִשְׂרְאֵלִית וְהוּא בֶּן-אִישׁ מִצְרִי בְּתוֹךְ בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וַיִּנָּצוּ בַּֽמַּחֲנֶה בֶּן הַיִּשְׂרְאֵלִית וְאִישׁ הַיִּשְׂרְאֵלִֽי׃
And the son of an Israelitish woman, whose father was an Egyptian, went out among the children of Israel: and this son of the Israelitish woman and a man of Israel strove together in the camp;
וְאֶל-בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל תְּדַבֵּר לֵאמֹר אִישׁ אִישׁ כִּֽי-יְקַלֵּל אֱלֹהָיו וְנָשָׂא חֶטְאֽוֹ׃
And thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel, saying, Whosoever curseth his God shall bear his sin.
וְאִישׁ כִּי יַכֶּה כָּל-נֶפֶשׁ אָדָם מוֹת יוּמָֽת׃
And he that killeth any man shall surely be put to death.
וְאִישׁ כִּֽי-יִתֵּן מוּם בַּֽעֲמִיתוֹ כַּֽאֲשֶׁר עָשָׂה כֵּן יֵעָשֶׂה לּֽוֹ׃
And if a man cause a blemish in his neighbour; as he hath done, so shall it be done to him;
שֶׁבֶר תַּחַת שֶׁבֶר עַיִן תַּחַת עַיִן שֵׁן תַּחַת שֵׁן כַּֽאֲשֶׁר יִתֵּן מוּם בָּֽאָדָם כֵּן יִנָּתֶן בּֽוֹ׃
Breach for breach, eye for eye, tooth for tooth: as he hath caused a blemish in a man, so shall it be done to him again.
וּמַכֵּה בְהֵמָה יְשַׁלְּמֶנָּה וּמַכֵּה אָדָם יוּמָֽת׃
And he that killeth a beast, he shall restore it: and he that killeth a man, he shall be put to death.
וְקִדַּשְׁתֶּם אֵת שְׁנַת הַֽחֲמִשִּׁים שָׁנָה וּקְרָאתֶם דְּרוֹר בָּאָרֶץ לְכָל-יֹֽשְׁבֶיהָ יוֹבֵל הִוא תִּֽהְיֶה לָכֶם וְשַׁבְתֶּם אִישׁ אֶל-אֲחֻזָּתוֹ וְאִישׁ אֶל-מִשְׁפַּחְתּוֹ תָּשֻֽׁבוּ׃
And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubile unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family.
בִּשְׁנַת הַיּוֹבֵל הַזֹּאת תָּשֻׁבוּ אִישׁ אֶל-אֲחֻזָּתֽוֹ׃
In the year of this jubile ye shall return every man unto his possession.
וְכִֽי-תִמְכְּרוּ מִמְכָּר לַֽעֲמִיתֶךָ אוֹ קָנֹה מִיַּד עֲמִיתֶךָ אַל-תּוֹנוּ אִישׁ אֶת-אָחִֽיו׃
And if thou sell ought unto thy neighbour, or buyest ought of thy neighbour's hand, ye shall not oppress one another:
וְלֹא תוֹנוּ אִישׁ אֶת-עֲמִיתוֹ וְיָרֵאתָ מֵֽאֱלֹהֶיךָ כִּי אֲנִי יְהוָֹה אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶֽם׃
Ye shall not therefore oppress one another; but thou shalt fear thy God: for I am the LORD your God.
וְאִישׁ כִּי לֹא יִֽהְיֶה-לּוֹ גֹּאֵל וְהִשִּׂיגָה יָדוֹ וּמָצָא כְּדֵי גְאֻלָּתֽוֹ׃
And if the man have none to redeem it, and himself be able to redeem it;
וְחִשַּׁב אֶת-שְׁנֵי מִמְכָּרוֹ וְהֵשִׁיב אֶת-הָעֹדֵף לָאִישׁ אֲשֶׁר מָֽכַר-לוֹ וְשָׁב לַֽאֲחֻזָּתֽוֹ׃
Then let him count the years of the sale thereof, and restore the overplus unto the man to whom he sold it; that he may return unto his possession.
וְאִישׁ כִּֽי-יִמְכֹּר בֵּית-מוֹשַׁב עִיר חוֹמָה וְהָֽיְתָה גְּאֻלָּתוֹ עַד-תֹּם שְׁנַת מִמְכָּרוֹ יָמִים תִּֽהְיֶה גְאֻלָּתֽוֹ׃
And if a man sell a dwelling house in a walled city, then he may redeem it within a whole year after it is sold; within a full year may he redeem it.
וְהִתְנַֽחַלְתֶּם אֹתָם לִבְנֵיכֶם אַֽחֲרֵיכֶם לָרֶשֶׁת אֲחֻזָּה לְעֹלָם בָּהֶם תַּֽעֲבֹדוּ וּבְאַחֵיכֶם בְּנֵֽי-יִשְׂרָאֵל אִישׁ בְּאָחִיו לֹֽא-תִרְדֶּה בוֹ בְּפָֽרֶךְ׃
And ye shall take them as an inheritance for your children after you, to inherit them for a possession; they shall be your bondmen for ever: but over your brethren the children of Israel, ye shall not rule one over another with rigour.
וְכָֽשְׁלוּ אִישׁ-בְּאָחִיו כְּמִפְּנֵי-חֶרֶב וְרֹדֵף אָיִן וְלֹא-תִֽהְיֶה לָכֶם תְּקוּמָה לִפְנֵי אֹֽיְבֵיכֶֽם׃
And they shall fall one upon another, as it were before a sword, when none pursueth: and ye shall have no power to stand before your enemies.
דַּבֵּר אֶל-בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וְאָֽמַרְתָּ אֲלֵהֶם אִישׁ כִּי יַפְלִא נֶדֶר בְּעֶרְכְּךָ נְפָשֹׁת לַֽיהוָֽה׃
Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When a man shall make a singular vow, the persons shall be for the LORD by thy estimation.
וְאִישׁ כִּֽי-יַקְדִּשׁ אֶת-בֵּיתוֹ קֹדֶשׁ לַֽיהוָה וְהֶֽעֱרִיכוֹ הַכֹּהֵן בֵּין טוֹב וּבֵין רָע כַּֽאֲשֶׁר יַֽעֲרִיךְ אֹתוֹ הַכֹּהֵן כֵּן יָקֽוּם׃
And when a man shall sanctify his house to be holy unto the LORD, then the priest shall estimate it, whether it be good or bad: as the priest shall estimate it, so shall it stand.
וְאִם׀ מִשְּׂדֵה אֲחֻזָּתוֹ יַקְדִּישׁ אִישׁ לַֽיהוָה וְהָיָה עֶרְכְּךָ לְפִי זַרְעוֹ זֶרַע חֹמֶר שְׂעֹרִים בַּֽחֲמִשִּׁים שֶׁקֶל כָּֽסֶף׃
And if a man shall sanctify unto the LORD some part of a field of his possession, then thy estimation shall be according to the seed thereof: an homer of barley seed shall be valued at fifty shekels of silver.
וְאִם-לֹא יִגְאַל אֶת-הַשָּׂדֶה וְאִם-מָכַר אֶת-הַשָּׂדֶה לְאִישׁ אַחֵר לֹא יִגָּאֵל עֽוֹד׃
And if he will not redeem the field, or if he have sold the field to another man, it shall not be redeemed any more.
אַךְ-בְּכוֹר אֲשֶׁר-יְבֻכַּר לַֽיהוָה בִּבְהֵמָה לֹֽא-יַקְדִּישׁ אִישׁ אֹתוֹ אִם-שׁוֹר אִם-שֶׂה לַֽיהוָה הֽוּא׃
Only the firstling of the beasts, which should be the LORD's firstling, no man shall sanctify it; whether it be ox, or sheep: it is the LORD's.
אַךְ-כָּל-חֵרֶם אֲשֶׁר יַחֲרִם אִישׁ לַֽיהוָה מִכָּל-אֲשֶׁר-לוֹ מֵאָדָם וּבְהֵמָה וּמִשְּׂדֵה אֲחֻזָּתוֹ לֹא יִמָּכֵר וְלֹא יִגָּאֵל כָּל-חֵרֶם קֹֽדֶשׁ-קָֽדָשִׁים הוּא לַיהוָֽה׃
Notwithstanding no devoted thing, that a man shall devote unto the LORD of all that he hath, both of man and beast, and of the field of his possession, shall be sold or redeemed: every devoted thing is most holy unto the LORD.
כָּל-חֵרֶם אֲשֶׁר יָחֳרַם מִן-הָאָדָם לֹא יִפָּדֶה מוֹת יוּמָֽת׃
None devoted, which shall be devoted of men, shall be redeemed; but shall surely be put to death.
וְאִם-גָּאֹל יִגְאַל אִישׁ מִמַּֽעַשְׂרוֹ חֲמִשִׁיתוֹ יֹסֵף עָלָֽיו׃
And if a man will at all redeem ought of his tithes, he shall add thereto the fifth part thereof.
וְאִתְּכֶם יִֽהְיוּ אִישׁ אִישׁ לַמַּטֶּה אִישׁ רֹאשׁ לְבֵית-אֲבֹתָיו הֽוּא׃
And with you there shall be a man of every tribe; every one head of the house of his fathers.
וְאֵלֶּה שְׁמוֹת הָֽאֲנָשִׁים אֲשֶׁר יַֽעַמְדוּ אִתְּכֶם לִרְאוּבֵן אֱלִיצוּר בֶּן-שְׁדֵיאֽוּר׃
And these are the names of the men that shall stand with you: of the tribe of Reuben; Elizur the son of Shedeur.
וַיִּקַּח מֹשֶׁה וְאַֽהֲרֹן אֵת הָֽאֲנָשִׁים הָאֵלֶּה אֲשֶׁר נִקְּבוּ בְּשֵׁמֽוֹת׃
And Moses and Aaron took these men which are expressed by their names:
אֵלֶּה הַפְּקֻדִים אֲשֶׁר פָּקַד מֹשֶׁה וְאַֽהֲרֹן וּנְשִׂיאֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל שְׁנֵים עָשָׂר אִישׁ אִישׁ-אֶחָד לְבֵית-אֲבֹתָיו הָיֽוּ׃
These are those that were numbered, which Moses and Aaron numbered, and the princes of Israel, being twelve men: each one was for the house of his fathers.
וְחָנוּ בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל אִישׁ עַֽל-מַחֲנֵהוּ וְאִישׁ עַל-דִּגְלוֹ לְצִבְאֹתָֽם׃
And the children of Israel shall pitch their tents, every man by his own camp, and every man by his own standard, throughout their hosts.
אִישׁ עַל-דִּגְלוֹ בְאֹתֹת לְבֵית אֲבֹתָם יַֽחֲנוּ בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל מִנֶּגֶד סָבִיב לְאֹֽהֶל-מוֹעֵד יַֽחֲנֽוּ׃
Every man of the children of Israel shall pitch by his own standard, with the ensign of their father's house: far off about the tabernacle of the congregation shall they pitch.
וְנָסַע אֹֽהֶל-מוֹעֵד מַֽחֲנֵה הַלְוִיִּם בְּתוֹךְ הַֽמַּחֲנֹת כַּֽאֲשֶׁר יַֽחֲנוּ כֵּן יִסָּעוּ אִישׁ עַל-יָדוֹ לְדִגְלֵיהֶֽם׃
Then the tabernacle of the congregation shall set forward with the camp of the Levites in the midst of the camp: as they encamp, so shall they set forward, every man in his place by their standards.
וַֽיַּעֲשׂוּ בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל כְּכֹל אֲשֶׁר-צִוָּה יְהוָה אֶת-מֹשֶׁה כֵּֽן-חָנוּ לְדִגְלֵיהֶם וְכֵן נָסָעוּ אִישׁ לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָיו עַל-בֵּית אֲבֹתָֽיו׃
And the children of Israel did according to all that the LORD commanded Moses: so they pitched by their standards, and so they set forward, every one after their families, according to the house of their fathers.
כִּי לִי כָּל-בְּכוֹר בְּיוֹם הַכֹּתִי כָל-בְּכוֹר בְּאֶרֶץ מִצְרַיִם הִקְדַּשְׁתִּי לִי כָל-בְּכוֹר בְּיִשְׂרָאֵל מֵֽאָדָם עַד-בְּהֵמָה לִי יִֽהְיוּ אֲנִי יְהוָֽה׃
Because all the firstborn are mine; for on the day that I smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt I hallowed unto me all the firstborn in Israel, both man and beast: mine shall they be: I am the LORD.
וְזֹאת׀ עֲשׂוּ לָהֶם וְחָיוּ וְלֹא יָמֻתוּ בְּגִשְׁתָּם אֶת-קֹדֶשׁ הַקֳּדָשִׁים אַֽהֲרֹן וּבָנָיו יָבֹאוּ וְשָׂמוּ אוֹתָם אִישׁ אִישׁ עַל-עֲבֹֽדָתוֹ וְאֶל-מַשָּׂאֽוֹ׃
But thus do unto them, that they may live, and not die, when they approach unto the most holy things: Aaron and his sons shall go in, and appoint them every one to his service and to his burden:
עַל-פִּי יְהוָה פָּקַד אוֹתָם בְּיַד-מֹשֶׁה אִישׁ אִישׁ עַל-עֲבֹֽדָתוֹ וְעַל-מַשָּׂאוֹ וּפְקֻדָיו אֲשֶׁר-צִוָּה יְהוָה אֶת-מֹשֶֽׁה׃
According to the commandment of the LORD they were numbered by the hand of Moses, every one according to his service, and according to his burden: thus were they numbered of him, as the LORD commanded Moses.
דַּבֵּר אֶל-בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל אִישׁ אֽוֹ-אִשָּׁה כִּי יַֽעֲשׂוּ מִכָּל-חַטֹּאת הָֽאָדָם לִמְעֹל מַעַל בַּֽיהוָה וְאָֽשְׁמָה הַנֶּפֶשׁ הַהִֽוא׃
Speak unto the children of Israel, When a man or woman shall commit any sin that men commit, to do a trespass against the LORD, and that person be guilty;
וְאִם-אֵין לָאִישׁ גֹּאֵל לְהָשִׁיב הָֽאָשָׁם אֵלָיו הָֽאָשָׁם הַמּוּשָׁב לַֽיהוָה לַכֹּהֵן מִלְּבַד אֵיל הַכִּפֻּרִים אֲשֶׁר יְכַפֶּר-בּוֹ עָלָֽיו׃
But if the man have no kinsman to recompense the trespass unto, let the trespass be recompensed unto the LORD, even to the priest; beside the ram of the atonement, whereby an atonement shall be made for him.
וְאִישׁ אֶת-קֳדָשָׁיו לוֹ יִֽהְיוּ אִישׁ אֲשֶׁר-יִתֵּן לַכֹּהֵן לוֹ יִֽהְיֶֽה׃
And every man's hallowed things shall be his: whatsoever any man giveth the priest, it shall be his.
דַּבֵּר אֶל-בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וְאָֽמַרְתָּ אֲלֵהֶם אִישׁ אִישׁ כִּֽי-תִשְׂטֶה אִשְׁתּוֹ וּמָֽעֲלָה בוֹ מָֽעַל׃
Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, If any man's wife go aside, and commit a trespass against him,
וְשָׁכַב אִישׁ אֹתָהּ שִׁכְבַת-זֶרַע וְנֶעְלַם מֵֽעֵינֵי אִישָׁהּ וְנִסְתְּרָה וְהִיא נִטְמָאָה וְעֵד אֵין בָּהּ וְהִוא לֹא נִתְפָּֽשָׂה׃
And a man lie with her carnally, and it be hid from the eyes of her husband, and be kept close, and she be defiled, and there be no witness against her, neither she be taken with the manner;
וְהֵבִיא הָאִישׁ אֶת-אִשְׁתּוֹ אֶל-הַכֹּהֵן וְהֵבִיא אֶת-קָרְבָּנָהּ עָלֶיהָ עֲשִׂירִת הָֽאֵיפָה קֶמַח שְׂעֹרִים לֹֽא-יִצֹק עָלָיו שֶׁמֶן וְלֹֽא-יִתֵּן עָלָיו לְבֹנָה כִּֽי-מִנְחַת קְנָאֹת הוּא מִנְחַת זִכָּרוֹן מַזְכֶּרֶת עָוֹֽן׃
Then shall the man bring his wife unto the priest, and he shall bring her offering for her, the tenth part of an ephah of barley meal; he shall pour no oil upon it, nor put frankincense thereon; for it is an offering of jealousy, an offering of memorial, bringing iniquity to remembrance.
וְהִשְׁבִּיעַ אֹתָהּ הַכֹּהֵן וְאָמַר אֶל-הָֽאִשָּׁה אִם-לֹא שָׁכַב אִישׁ אֹתָךְ וְאִם-לֹא שָׂטִית טֻמְאָה תַּחַת אִישֵׁךְ הִנָּקִי מִמֵּי הַמָּרִים הַֽמְאָרֲרִים הָאֵֽלֶּה׃
And the priest shall charge her by an oath, and say unto the woman, If no man have lain with thee, and if thou hast not gone aside to uncleanness with another instead of thy husband, be thou free from this bitter water that causeth the curse:
וְאַתְּ כִּי שָׂטִית תַּחַת אִישֵׁךְ וְכִי נִטְמֵאת וַיִּתֵּן אִישׁ בָּךְ אֶת-שְׁכָבְתּוֹ מִֽבַּלְעֲדֵי אִישֵֽׁךְ׃
But if thou hast gone aside to another instead of thy husband, and if thou be defiled, and some man have lain with thee beside thine husband:
וְהִשְׁקָהּ אֶת-הַמַּיִם וְהָֽיְתָה אִֽם-נִטְמְאָה וַתִּמְעֹל מַעַל בְּאִישָׁהּ וּבָאוּ בָהּ הַמַּיִם הַמְאָֽרֲרִים לְמָרִים וְצָֽבְתָה בִטְנָהּ וְנָֽפְלָה יְרֵכָהּ וְהָֽיְתָה הָֽאִשָּׁה לְאָלָה בְּקֶרֶב עַמָּֽהּ׃
And when he hath made her to drink the water, then it shall come to pass, that, if she be defiled, and have done trespass against her husband, that the water that causeth the curse shall enter into her, and become bitter, and her belly shall swell, and her thigh shall rot: and the woman shall be a curse among her people.
זֹאת תּוֹרַת הַקְּנָאֹת אֲשֶׁר תִּשְׂטֶה אִשָּׁה תַּחַת אִישָׁהּ וְנִטְמָֽאָה׃
This is the law of jealousies, when a wife goeth aside to another instead of her husband, and is defiled;
אוֹ אִישׁ אֲשֶׁר תַּֽעֲבֹר עָלָיו רוּחַ קִנְאָה וְקִנֵּא אֶת-אִשְׁתּוֹ וְהֶֽעֱמִיד אֶת-הָֽאִשָּׁה לִפְנֵי יְהוָה וְעָשָׂה לָהּ הַכֹּהֵן אֵת כָּל-הַתּוֹרָה הַזֹּֽאת׃
Or when the spirit of jealousy cometh upon him, and he be jealous over his wife, and shall set the woman before the LORD, and the priest shall execute upon her all this law.
וְנִקָּה הָאִישׁ מֵֽעָוֹן וְהָֽאִשָּׁה הַהִוא תִּשָּׂא אֶת-עֲוֹנָֽהּ׃
Then shall the man be guiltless from iniquity, and this woman shall bear her iniquity.
דַּבֵּר אֶל-בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וְאָֽמַרְתָּ אֲלֵהֶם אִישׁ אֽוֹ-אִשָּׁה כִּי יַפְלִא לִנְדֹּר נֶדֶר נָזִיר לְהַזִּיר לַֽיהוָֽה׃
Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When either man or woman shall separate themselves to vow a vow of a Nazarite, to separate themselves unto the LORD:
קַח מֵֽאִתָּם וְהָיוּ לַֽעֲבֹד אֶת-עֲבֹדַת אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד וְנָֽתַתָּה אוֹתָם אֶל-הַלְוִיִּם אִישׁ כְּפִי עֲבֹֽדָתֽוֹ׃
Take it of them, that they may be to do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation; and thou shalt give them unto the Levites, to every man according to his service.
כִּי לִי כָל-בְּכוֹר בִּבְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל בָּֽאָדָם וּבַבְּהֵמָה בְּיוֹם הַכֹּתִי כָל-בְּכוֹר בְּאֶרֶץ מִצְרַיִם הִקְדַּשְׁתִּי אֹתָם לִֽי׃
For all the firstborn of the children of Israel are mine, both man and beast: on the day that I smote every firstborn in the land of Egypt I sanctified them for myself.
וַיְהִי אֲנָשִׁים אֲשֶׁר הָיוּ טְמֵאִים לְנֶפֶשׁ אָדָם וְלֹֽא-יָכְלוּ לַֽעֲשֹׂת-הַפֶּסַח בַּיּוֹם הַהוּא וַֽיִּקְרְבוּ לִפְנֵי מֹשֶׁה וְלִפְנֵי אַֽהֲרֹן בַּיּוֹם הַהֽוּא׃
And there were certain men, who were defiled by the dead body of a man, that they could not keep the passover on that day: and they came before Moses and before Aaron on that day:
וַיֹּֽאמְרוּ הָֽאֲנָשִׁים הָהֵמָּה אֵלָיו אֲנַחְנוּ טְמֵאִים לְנֶפֶשׁ אָדָם לָמָּה נִגָּרַע לְבִלְתִּי הַקְרִיב אֶת-קָרְבַּן יְהוָה בְּמֹעֲדוֹ בְּתוֹךְ בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
And those men said unto him, We are defiled by the dead body of a man: wherefore are we kept back, that we may not offer an offering of the LORD in his appointed season among the children of Israel?
דַּבֵּר אֶל-בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל לֵאמֹר אִישׁ אִישׁ כִּי-יִהְיֶֽה-טָמֵא׀ לָנֶפֶשׁ אוֹ בְדֶרֶךְ רְחֹקָהׄ לָכֶם אוֹ לְדֹרֹתֵיכֶם וְעָשָׂה פֶסַח לַֽיהוָֽה׃
Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If any man of you or of your posterity shall be unclean by reason of a dead body, or be in a journey afar off, yet he shall keep the passover unto the LORD.
וְהָאִישׁ אֲשֶׁר-הוּא טָהוֹר וּבְדֶרֶךְ לֹֽא-הָיָה וְחָדַל לַֽעֲשׂוֹת הַפֶּסַח וְנִכְרְתָה הַנֶּפֶשׁ הַהִוא מֵֽעַמֶּיהָ כִּי׀ קָרְבַּן יְהוָה לֹא הִקְרִיב בְּמֹעֲדוֹ חֶטְאוֹ יִשָּׂא הָאִישׁ הַהֽוּא׃
But the man that is clean, and is not in a journey, and forbeareth to keep the passover, even the same soul shall be cut off from among his people: because he brought not the offering of the LORD in his appointed season, that man shall bear his sin.
וַיִּשְׁמַע מֹשֶׁה אֶת-הָעָם בֹּכֶה לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָיו אִישׁ לְפֶתַח אָֽהֳלוֹ וַיִּֽחַר-אַף יְהוָה מְאֹד וּבְעֵינֵי מֹשֶׁה רָֽע׃
Then Moses heard the people weep throughout their families, every man in the door of his tent: and the anger of the LORD was kindled greatly; Moses also was displeased.
