וַיִּשְׁכַּב יֵהוּא עִם-אֲבֹתָיו וַיִּקְבְּרוּ אֹתוֹ בְּשֹֽׁמְרוֹן וַיִּמְלֹךְ יְהֽוֹאָחָז בְּנוֹ תַּחְתָּֽיו׃

And Jehu slept with his fathers: and they buried him in Samaria. And Jehoahaz his son reigned in his stead.

2 Kings 13

בִּשְׁנַת עֶשְׂרִים וְשָׁלֹשׁ שָׁנָה לְיוֹאָשׁ בֶּן-אֲחַזְיָהוּ מֶלֶךְ יְהוּדָה מָלַךְ יְהֽוֹאָחָז בֶּן-יֵהוּא עַל-יִשְׂרָאֵל בְּשֹׁמְרוֹן שְׁבַע עֶשְׂרֵה שָׁנָֽה׃

In the three and twentieth year of Joash the son of Ahaziah king of Judah Jehoahaz the son of Jehu began to reign over Israel in Samaria, and reigned seventeen years.

וַיְחַל יְהֽוֹאָחָז אֶת-פְּנֵי יְהוָה וַיִּשְׁמַע אֵלָיו יְהוָה כִּי רָאָה אֶת-לַחַץ יִשְׂרָאֵל כִּֽי-לָחַץ אֹתָם מֶלֶךְ אֲרָֽם׃

And Jehoahaz besought the LORD, and the LORD hearkened unto him: for he saw the oppression of Israel, because the king of Syria oppressed them.

כִּי לֹא הִשְׁאִיר לִיהֽוֹאָחָז עָם כִּי אִם-חֲמִשִּׁים פָּֽרָשִׁים וַֽעֲשָׂרָה רֶכֶב וַֽעֲשֶׂרֶת אֲלָפִים רַגְלִי כִּי אִבְּדָם מֶלֶךְ אֲרָם וַיְשִׂמֵם כֶּֽעָפָר לָדֻֽשׁ׃

Neither did he leave of the people to Jehoahaz but fifty horsemen, and ten chariots, and ten thousand footmen; for the king of Syria had destroyed them, and had made them like the dust by threshing.

וְיֶתֶר דִּבְרֵי יְהֽוֹאָחָז וְכָל-אֲשֶׁר עָשָׂה וּגְבֽוּרָתוֹ הֲלוֹא-הֵם כְּתוּבִים עַל-סֵפֶר דִּבְרֵי הַיָּמִים לְמַלְכֵי יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

Now the rest of the acts of Jehoahaz, and all that he did, and his might, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?

וַיִּשְׁכַּב יְהֽוֹאָחָז עִם-אֲבֹתָיו וַֽיִּקְבְּרֻהוּ בְּשֹֽׁמְרוֹן וַיִּמְלֹךְ יוֹאָשׁ בְּנוֹ תַּחְתָּֽיו׃

בִּשְׁנַת שְׁלֹשִׁים וָשֶׁבַע שָׁנָה לְיוֹאָשׁ מֶלֶךְ יְהוּדָה מָלַךְ יְהוֹאָשׁ בֶּן-יְהֽוֹאָחָז עַל-יִשְׂרָאֵל בְּשֹׁמְרוֹן שֵׁשׁ עֶשְׂרֵה שָׁנָֽה׃

In the thirty and seventh year of Joash king of Judah began Jehoash the son of Jehoahaz to reign over Israel in Samaria, and reigned sixteen years.

וַֽחֲזָאֵל מֶלֶךְ אֲרָם לָחַץ אֶת-יִשְׂרָאֵל כֹּל יְמֵי יְהֽוֹאָחָֽז׃

But Hazael king of Syria oppressed Israel all the days of Jehoahaz.

וַיָּשָׁב יְהוֹאָשׁ בֶּן-יְהֽוֹאָחָז וַיִּקַּח אֶת-הֶֽעָרִים מִיַּד בֶּן-הֲדַד בֶּן-חֲזָאֵל אֲשֶׁר לָקַח מִיַּד יְהֽוֹאָחָז אָבִיו בַּמִּלְחָמָה שָׁלֹשׁ פְּעָמִים הִכָּהוּ יוֹאָשׁ וַיָּשֶׁב אֶת-עָרֵי יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

And Jehoash the son of Jehoahaz took again out of the hand of Ben-hadad the son of Hazael the cities, which he had taken out of the hand of Jehoahaz his father by war. Three times did Joash beat him, and recovered the cities of Israel.

2 Kings 14

אָז שָׁלַח אֲמַצְיָה מַלְאָכִים אֶל-יְהוֹאָשׁ בֶּן-יְהֽוֹאָחָז בֶּן-יֵהוּא מֶלֶךְ יִשְׂרָאֵל לֵאמֹר לְכָה נִתְרָאֶה פָנִֽים׃

Then Amaziah sent messengers to Jehoash, the son of Jehoahaz son of Jehu, king of Israel, saying, Come, let us look one another in the face.

וַיְחִי אֲמַצְיָהוּ בֶן-יוֹאָשׁ מֶלֶךְ יְהוּדָה אַֽחֲרֵי מוֹת יְהוֹאָשׁ בֶּן-יְהֽוֹאָחָז מֶלֶךְ יִשְׂרָאֵל חֲמֵשׁ עֶשְׂרֵה שָׁנָֽה׃

And Amaziah the son of Joash king of Judah lived after the death of Jehoash son of Jehoahaz king of Israel fifteen years.

2 Kings 23

וַיַּרְכִּבֻהוּ עֲבָדָיו מֵת מִמְּגִדּוֹ וַיְבִאֻהוּ יְרוּשָׁלִַם וַֽיִּקְבְּרֻהוּ בִּקְבֻֽרָתוֹ וַיִּקַּח עַם-הָאָרֶץ אֶת-יְהֽוֹאָחָז בֶּן-יֹאשִׁיָּהוּ וַיִּמְשְׁחוּ אֹתוֹ וַיַּמְלִיכוּ אֹתוֹ תַּחַת אָבִֽיו׃

And his servants carried chariot him in a dead from Megiddo, and brought him to Jerusalem, and buried him in his own sepulchre. And the people of the land took Jehoahaz the son of Josiah, and anointed him, and made him king in his father's stead.

בֶּן-עֶשְׂרִים וְשָׁלֹשׁ שָׁנָה יְהֽוֹאָחָז בְּמָלְכוֹ וּשְׁלֹשָׁה חֳדָשִׁים מָלַךְ בִּירֽוּשָׁלִָם וְשֵׁם אִמּוֹ חֲמוּטַל בַּֽת-יִרְמְיָהוּ מִלִּבְנָֽה׃

Jehoahaz was twenty and three years old when he began to reign; and he reigned three months in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Hamutal, the daughter of Jeremiah of Libnah.

וַיַּמְלֵךְ פַּרְעֹה נְכֹה אֶת-אֶלְיָקִים בֶּן-יֹֽאשִׁיָּהוּ תַּחַת יֹֽאשִׁיָּהוּ אָבִיו וַיַּסֵּב אֶת-שְׁמוֹ יְהֽוֹיָקִים וְאֶת-יְהֽוֹאָחָז לָקָח וַיָּבֹא מִצְרַיִם וַיָּמָת שָֽׁם׃

And Pharaoh-nechoh made Eliakim the son of Josiah king in the room of Josiah his father, and turned his name to Jehoiakim, and took away: Jehoahaz and he came to Egypt, and died there.

2 Chronicles 21

וַיַּֽעֲלוּ בִֽיהוּדָה וַיִּבְקָעוּהָ וַיִּשְׁבּוּ אֵת כָּל-הָֽרְכוּשׁ הַנִּמְצָא לְבֵית-הַמֶּלֶךְ וְגַם-בָּנָיו וְנָשָׁיו וְלֹא נִשְׁאַר-לוֹ בֵּן כִּי אִם-יְהֽוֹאָחָז קְטֹן בָּנָֽיו׃

And they came up into Judah, and brake into it, and carried away all the substance that was found in the king's house, and his sons also, and his wives; so that there was never a son left him, save Jehoahaz, the youngest of his sons.

2 Chronicles 25

וַיִּוָּעַץ אֲמַצְיָהוּ מֶלֶךְ יְהוּדָה וַיִּשְׁלַח אֶל-יוֹאָשׁ בֶּן-יְהֽוֹאָחָז בֶּן-יֵהוּא מֶלֶךְ יִשְׂרָאֵל לֵאמֹר ‫(לך)‬ לְכָה נִתְרָאֶה פָנִֽים׃

Then Amaziah king of Judah took advice, and sent to Joash, the son of Jehoahaz, the son of Jehu, king of Israel, saying, Come, let us see one another in the face.

וְאֵת אֲמַצְיָהוּ מֶֽלֶךְ-יְהוּדָה בֶּן-יוֹאָשׁ בֶּן-יְהֽוֹאָחָז תָּפַשׂ יוֹאָשׁ מֶֽלֶךְ-יִשְׂרָאֵל בְּבֵית שָׁמֶשׁ וַיְבִיאֵהוּ יְרוּשָׁלִַם וַיִּפְרֹץ בְּחוֹמַת יְרֽוּשָׁלִַם מִשַּׁעַר אֶפְרַיִם עַד-שַׁעַר הַפּוֹנֶה אַרְבַּע מֵאוֹת אַמָּֽה׃

And Joash the king of Israel took Amaziah king of Judah, the son of Joash, the son of Jehoahaz, at Beth-shemesh, and brought him to Jerusalem, and brake down the wall of Jerusalem from the gate of Ephraim to the corner gate, four hundred cubits.

וַיְחִי אֲמַצְיָהוּ בֶן-יוֹאָשׁ מֶלֶךְ יְהוּדָה אַֽחֲרֵי מוֹת יוֹאָשׁ בֶּן-יְהֽוֹאָחָז מֶלֶךְ יִשְׂרָאֵל חֲמֵשׁ עֶשְׂרֵה שָׁנָֽה׃

And Amaziah the son of Joash king of Judah lived after the death of Joash son of Jehoahaz king of Israel fifteen years.

2 Chronicles 36

וַיִּקְחוּ עַם-הָאָרֶץ אֶת-יְהֽוֹאָחָז בֶּן-יֹֽאשִׁיָּהוּ וַיַּמְלִיכֻהוּ תַֽחַת-אָבִיו בִּירֽוּשָׁלִָֽם׃

Then the people of the land took Jehoahaz the son of Josiah, and made him king in his father's stead in Jerusalem.
