וְיָֽרָבְעָם בֶּן-נְבָט אֶפְרָתִי מִן-הַצְּרֵדָה וְשֵׁם אִמּוֹ צְרוּעָה אִשָּׁה אַלְמָנָה עֶבֶד לִשְׁלֹמֹה וַיָּרֶם יָד בַּמֶּֽלֶךְ׃

And Jeroboam the son of Nebat, an Ephrathite of Zereda, Solomon's servant, whose mother's name was Zeruah, a widow woman, even he lifted up his hand against the king.

1 Kings 12

וַיְהִי כִּשְׁמֹעַ׀ יָֽרָבְעָם בֶּן-נְבָט וְהוּא עוֹדֶנּוּ בְמִצְרַיִם אֲשֶׁר בָּרַח מִפְּנֵי הַמֶּלֶךְ שְׁלֹמֹה וַיֵּשֶׁב יָֽרָבְעָם בְּמִצְרָֽיִם׃

And it came to pass, when Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who was yet in Egypt, heard of it, (for he was fled from the presence of king Solomon, and Jeroboam dwelt in Egypt;)

וְלֹֽא-שָׁמַע הַמֶּלֶךְ אֶל-הָעָם כִּֽי-הָיְתָה סִבָּה מֵעִם יְהוָה לְמַעַן הָקִים אֶת-דְּבָרוֹ אֲשֶׁר דִּבֶּר יְהוָה בְּיַד אֲחִיָּה הַשִּֽׁילֹנִי אֶל-יָֽרָבְעָם בֶּן-נְבָֽט׃

Wherefore the king hearkened not unto the people; for the cause was from the LORD, that he might perform his saying, which the LORD spake by Ahijah the Shilonite unto Jeroboam the son of Nebat.

1 Kings 15

וּבִשְׁנַת שְׁמֹנֶה עֶשְׂרֵה לַמֶּלֶךְ יָֽרָבְעָם בֶּן-נְבָט מָלַךְ אֲבִיָּם עַל-יְהוּדָֽה׃

Now in the eighteenth year of king Jeroboam the son of Nebat reigned Abijam over Judah.

1 Kings 16

הִנְנִי מַבְעִיר אַֽחֲרֵי בַעְשָׁא וְאַֽחֲרֵי בֵיתוֹ וְנָֽתַתִּי אֶת-בֵּיתְךָ כְּבֵית יָֽרָבְעָם בֶּן-נְבָֽט׃

Behold, I will take away the posterity of Baasha, and the posterity of his house; and will make thy house like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat.

וַיֵּלֶךְ בְּכָל-דֶּרֶךְ יָֽרָבְעָם בֶּן-נְבָט ‫(ובחטאתיו)‬ וּבְחַטָּאתוֹ אֲשֶׁר הֶֽחֱטִיא אֶת-יִשְׂרָאֵל לְהַכְעִיס אֶת-יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל בְּהַבְלֵיהֶֽם׃

For he walked in all the way of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and in his sin wherewith he made Israel to sin, to provoke the LORD God of Israel to anger with their vanities.

וַֽיְהִי הֲנָקֵל לֶכְתּוֹ בְּחַטֹּאות יָֽרָבְעָם בֶּן-נְבָט וַיִּקַּח אִשָּׁה אֶת-אִיזֶבֶל בַּת-אֶתְבַּעַל מֶלֶךְ צִֽידֹנִים וַיֵּלֶךְ וַֽיַּעֲבֹד אֶת-הַבַּעַל וַיִּשְׁתַּחוּ לֽוֹ׃

And it came to pass, as if it had been a light thing for him to walk in the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, that he took to wife Jezebel the daughter of Ethbaal king of the Zidonians, and went and served Baal, and worshipped him.

1 Kings 21

וְנָֽתַתִּי אֶת-בֵּֽיתְךָ כְּבֵית יָֽרָבְעָם בֶּן-נְבָט וּכְבֵית בַּעְשָׁא בֶן-אֲחִיָּה אֶל-הַכַּעַס אֲשֶׁר הִכְעַסְתָּ וַֽתַּחֲטִא אֶת-יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

And will make thine house like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and like the house of Baasha the son of Ahijah, for the provocation wherewith thou hast provoked me to anger, and made Israel to sin.

1 Kings 22

וַיַּעַשׂ הָרַע בְּעֵינֵי יְהוָה וַיֵּלֶךְ בְּדֶרֶךְ אָבִיו וּבְדֶרֶךְ אִמּוֹ וּבְדֶרֶךְ יָֽרָבְעָם בֶּן-נְבָט אֲשֶׁר הֶֽחֱטִיא אֶת-יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

And he did evil in the sight of the LORD, and walked in the way of his father, and in the way of his mother, and in the way of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin:

2 Kings 3

רַק בְּחַטֹּאות יָֽרָבְעָם בֶּֽן-נְבָט אֲשֶׁר-הֶֽחֱטִיא אֶת-יִשְׂרָאֵל דָּבֵק לֹא-סָר מִמֶּֽנָּה׃

Nevertheless he cleaved unto the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, which made Israel to sin; he departed not therefrom.

וְנָֽתַתִּי אֶת-בֵּית אַחְאָב כְּבֵית יָֽרָבְעָם בֶּן-נְבָט וּכְבֵית בַּעְשָׁא בֶן-אֲחִיָּֽה׃

And I will make the house of Ahab like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and like the house of Baasha the son of Ahijah:

2 Kings 10

רַק חֲטָאֵי יָֽרָבְעָם בֶּן-נְבָט אֲשֶׁר הֶֽחֱטִיא אֶת-יִשְׂרָאֵל לֹא-סָר יֵהוּא מֵאַֽחֲרֵיהֶם עֶגְלֵי הַזָּהָב אֲשֶׁר בֵּֽית-אֵל וַֽאֲשֶׁר בְּדָֽן׃

Howbeit from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin, Jehu departed not from after them, to wit, the golden calves that were in Beth-el, and that were in Dan.

2 Kings 13

And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, and followed the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, which made Israel to sin; he departed not therefrom.

וַיַּֽעֲשֶׂה הָרַע בְּעֵינֵי יְהוָה לֹא סָר מִכָּל-חַטֹּאות יָֽרָבְעָם בֶּן-נְבָט אֲשֶׁר-הֶֽחֱטִיא אֶת-יִשְׂרָאֵל בָּהּ הָלָֽךְ׃

And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD; he departed not from all the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel sin: but he walked therein.

2 Kings 14

וַיַּעַשׂ הָרַע בְּעֵינֵי יְהוָה לֹא סָר מִכָּל-חַטֹּאות יָֽרָבְעָם בֶּן-נְבָט אֲשֶׁר הֶֽחֱטִיא אֶת-יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD: he departed not all his days from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin.

כִּֽי-קָרַע יִשְׂרָאֵל מֵעַל בֵּית דָּוִד וַיַּמְלִיכוּ אֶת-יָֽרָבְעָם בֶּן-נְבָט ‫(וידא)‬ וַיַּדַּח יָֽרָבְעָם אֶת-יִשְׂרָאֵל מֵאַֽחֲרֵי יְהוָה וְהֶחֱטֵיאָם חֲטָאָה גְדוֹלָֽה׃

For he rent Israel from the house of David; and they made Jeroboam the son of Nebat king: and Jeroboam drave Israel from following the LORD, and made them sin a great sin.

2 Kings 23

וְגַם אֶת-הַמִּזְבֵּחַ אֲשֶׁר בְּבֵֽית-אֵל הַבָּמָה אֲשֶׁר עָשָׂה יָֽרָבְעָם בֶּן-נְבָט אֲשֶׁר הֶֽחֱטִיא אֶת-יִשְׂרָאֵל גַּם אֶת-הַמִּזְבֵּחַ הַהוּא וְאֶת-הַבָּמָה נָתָץ וַיִּשְׂרֹף אֶת-הַבָּמָה הֵדַק לְעָפָר וְשָׂרַף אֲשֵׁרָֽה׃

Moreover the altar that was at Beth-el, and the high place which Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin, had made, both that altar and the high place he brake down, and burned the high place, and stamped it small to powder, and burned the grove.

2 Chronicles 9

וּשְׁאָר דִּבְרֵי שְׁלֹמֹה הָרִֽאשֹׁנִים וְהָאַחֲרוֹנִים הֲלֹא-הֵם כְּתוּבִים עַל-דִּבְרֵי נָתָן הַנָּבִיא וְעַל-נְבוּאַת אֲחִיָּה הַשִּֽׁילוֹנִי וּבַֽחֲזוֹת ‫(יעדי)‬ יֶעְדּוֹ הַֽחֹזֶה עַל-יָֽרָבְעָם בֶּן-נְבָֽט׃

Now the rest of the acts of Solomon, first and last, are they not written in the book of Nathan the prophet, and in the prophecy of Ahijah the Shilonite, and in the visions of Iddo the seer against Jeroboam the son of Nebat?

2 Chronicles 10

וַיְהִי כִּשְׁמֹעַ יָֽרָבְעָם בֶּן-נְבָט וְהוּא בְמִצְרַיִם אֲשֶׁר בָּרַח מִפְּנֵי שְׁלֹמֹה הַמֶּלֶךְ וַיָּשָׁב יָֽרָבְעָם מִמִּצְרָֽיִם׃

And it came to pass, when Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who was in Egypt, whither he had fled from the presence of Solomon the king, heard it, that Jeroboam returned out of Egypt.

וְלֹֽא-שָׁמַע הַמֶּלֶךְ אֶל-הָעָם כִּֽי-הָיְתָה נְסִבָּה מֵעִם הָֽאֱלֹהִים לְמַעַן הָקִים יְהוָה אֶת-דְּבָרוֹ אֲשֶׁר דִּבֶּר בְּיַד אֲחִיָּהוּ הַשִּֽׁלוֹנִי אֶל-יָֽרָבְעָם בֶּן-נְבָֽט׃

2 Chronicles 13

וַיָּקָם יָֽרָבְעָם בֶּן-נְבָט עֶבֶד שְׁלֹמֹה בֶן-דָּוִיד וַיִּמְרֹד עַל-אֲדֹנָֽיו׃

Yet Jeroboam the son of Nebat, the servant of Solomon the son of David, is risen up, and hath rebelled against his lord.
