וַיַּֽעֲלוּ בַנֶּגֶב וַיָּבֹא עַד-חֶבְרוֹן וְשָׁם אֲחִימַן שֵׁשַׁי וְתַלְמַי יְלִידֵי הָֽעֲנָק וְחֶבְרוֹן שֶׁבַע שָׁנִים נִבְנְתָה לִפְנֵי צֹעַן מִצְרָֽיִם׃
And they ascended by the south, and came unto Hebron; where Ahiman, Sheshai, and Talmai, the children of Anak, were. (Now Hebron was built seven years before Zoan in Egypt.)
וַיֹּרֶשׁ מִשָּׁם כָּלֵב אֶת-שְׁלוֹשָׁה בְּנֵי הָֽעֲנָק אֶת-שֵׁשַׁי וְאֶת-אֲחִימַן וְאֶת-תַּלְמַי יְלִידֵי הָֽעֲנָֽק׃
And Caleb drove thence the three sons of Anak, Sheshai, and Ahiman, and Talmai, the children of Anak.
וַיֵּלֶךְ יְהוּדָה אֶל-הַֽכְּנַעֲנִי הַיּוֹשֵׁב בְּחֶבְרוֹן וְשֵׁם-חֶבְרוֹן לְפָנִים קִרְיַת אַרְבַּע וַיַּכּוּ אֶת-שֵׁשַׁי וְאֶת-אֲחִימַן וְאֶת-תַּלְמָֽי׃
And Judah went against the Canaanites that dwelt in Hebron: (now the name of Hebron before was Kirjath-arba:) and they slew Sheshai, and Ahiman, and Talmai.
