וְאֶת-כֶּשֶׂד וְאֶת-חֲזוֹ וְאֶת-פִּלְדָּשׁ וְאֶת-יִדְלָף וְאֵת בְּתוּאֵֽל׃
And Chesed, and Hazo, and Pildash, and Jidlaph, and Bethuel.
וּבְתוּאֵל יָלַד אֶת-רִבְקָה שְׁמֹנָה אֵלֶּה יָֽלְדָה מִלְכָּה לְנָחוֹר אֲחִי אַבְרָהָֽם׃
And Bethuel begat Rebekah: these eight Milcah did bear to Nahor, Abraham's brother.
וַֽיְהִי-הוּא טֶרֶם כִּלָּה לְדַבֵּר וְהִנֵּה רִבְקָה יֹצֵאת אֲשֶׁר יֻלְּדָה לִבְתוּאֵל בֶּן-מִלְכָּה אֵשֶׁת נָחוֹר אֲחִי אַבְרָהָם וְכַדָּהּ עַל-שִׁכְמָֽהּ׃
And it came to pass, before he had done speaking, that, behold, Rebekah came out, who was born to Bethuel, son of Milcah, the wife of Nahor, Abraham's brother, with her pitcher upon her shoulder.
וַתֹּאמֶר אֵלָיו בַּת-בְּתוּאֵל אָנֹכִי בֶּן-מִלְכָּה אֲשֶׁר יָֽלְדָה לְנָחֽוֹר׃
And she said unto him, I am the daughter of Bethuel the son of Milcah, which she bare unto Nahor.
וָֽאֶשְׁאַל אֹתָהּ וָֽאֹמַר בַּת-מִי אַתְּ וַתֹּאמֶר בַּת-בְּתוּאֵל בֶּן-נָחוֹר אֲשֶׁר יָֽלְדָה-לּוֹ מִלְכָּה וָֽאָשִׂם הַנֶּזֶם עַל-אַפָּהּ וְהַצְּמִידִים עַל-יָדֶֽיהָ׃
And I asked her, and said, Whose daughter art thou? And she said, The daughter of Bethuel, Nahor's son, whom Milcah bare unto him: and I put the earring upon her face, and the bracelets upon her hands.
וַיַּעַן לָבָן וּבְתוּאֵל וַיֹּאמְרוּ מֵֽיְהוָה יָצָא הַדָּבָר לֹא נוּכַל דַּבֵּר אֵלֶיךָ רַע אוֹ-טֽוֹב׃
Then Laban and Bethuel answered and said, The thing proceedeth from the LORD: we cannot speak unto thee bad or good.
וַיְהִי יִצְחָק בֶּן-אַרְבָּעִים שָׁנָה בְּקַחְתּוֹ אֶת-רִבְקָה בַּת-בְּתוּאֵל הָֽאֲרַמִּי מִפַּדַּן אֲרָם אֲחוֹת לָבָן הָֽאֲרַמִּי לוֹ לְאִשָּֽׁה׃
And Isaac was forty years old when he took Rebekah to wife, the daughter of Bethuel the Syrian of Padan-aram, the sister to Laban the Syrian.
קוּם לֵךְ פַּדֶּנָֽה אֲרָם בֵּיתָה בְתוּאֵל אֲבִי אִמֶּךָ וְקַח-לְךָ מִשָּׁם אִשָּׁה מִבְּנוֹת לָבָן אֲחִי אִמֶּֽךָ׃
Arise, go to Padan-aram, to the house of Bethuel thy mother's father; and take thee a wife from thence of the daughters of Laban thy mother's brother.
וַיִּשְׁלַח יִצְחָק אֶֽת-יַעֲקֹב וַיֵּלֶךְ פַּדֶּנָֽה אֲרָם אֶל-לָבָן בֶּן-בְּתוּאֵל הָֽאֲרַמִּי אֲחִי רִבְקָה אֵם יַֽעֲקֹב וְעֵשָֽׂו׃
And Isaac sent away Jacob: and he went to Padan-aram unto Laban, son of Bethuel the Syrian, the brother of Rebekah, Jacob's and Esau's mother.
