Genesis 35

וַיִּסְעוּ מִבֵּית אֵל וַֽיְהִי-עוֹד כִּבְרַת-הָאָרֶץ לָבוֹא אֶפְרָתָה וַתֵּלֶד רָחֵל וַתְּקַשׁ בְּלִדְתָּֽהּ׃

And they journeyed from Beth-el; and there was but a little way to come to Ephrath: and Rachel travailed, and she had hard labour.

וַתָּמָת רָחֵל וַתִּקָּבֵר בְּדֶרֶךְ אֶפְרָתָה הִוא בֵּית לָֽחֶם׃

And Rachel died, and was buried in the way to Ephrath, which is Bethlehem.

Genesis 48

וַֽאֲנִי׀ בְּבֹאִי מִפַּדָּן מֵתָה עָלַי רָחֵל בְּאֶרֶץ כְּנַעַן בַּדֶּרֶךְ בְּעוֹד כִּבְרַת-אֶרֶץ לָבֹא אֶפְרָתָה וָֽאֶקְבְּרֶהָ שָּׁם בְּדֶרֶךְ אֶפְרָת הִוא בֵּית לָֽחֶם׃

And as for me, when I came from Padan, Rachel died by me in the land of Canaan in the way, when yet there was but a little way to come unto Ephrath: and I buried her there in the way of Ephrath; the same is Bethlehem.

Judges 12

Ruth 1

Ruth 4

1 Samuel 1

1 Samuel 17

And Jeroboam the son of Nebat, an Ephrathite of Zereda, Solomon's servant, whose mother's name was Zeruah, a widow woman, even he lifted up his hand against the king.

1 Chronicles 2

וַתָּמָת עֲזוּבָה וַיִּֽקַּֽח-לוֹ כָלֵב אֶת-אֶפְרָת וַתֵּלֶד לוֹ אֶת-חֽוּר׃

And when Azubah was dead, Caleb took unto him Ephrath, which bare him Hur.

אֵלֶּה הָיוּ בְּנֵי כָלֵב בֶּן-חוּר בְּכוֹר אֶפְרָתָה שׁוֹבָל אֲבִי קִרְיַת יְעָרִֽים׃

These were the sons of Caleb the son of Hur, the firstborn of Ephratah; Shobal the father of Kirjath-jearim,

1 Chronicles 4

וּפְנוּאֵל אֲבִי גְדֹר וְעֵזֶר אֲבִי חוּשָׁה אֵלֶּה בְנֵי-חוּר בְּכוֹר אֶפְרָתָה אֲבִי בֵּית לָֽחֶם׃

And Penuel the father of Gedor, and Ezer the father of Hushah. These are the sons of Hur, the firstborn of Ephratah, the father of Bethlehem.

Psalms 132

הִנֵּֽה-שְׁמַֽעֲנוּהָ בְאֶפְרָתָה מְצָאנוּהָ בִּשְׂדֵי-יָֽעַר׃

Lo, we heard of it at Ephratah: we found it in the fields of the wood.

Micah 5

וְאַתָּה בֵּֽית-לֶחֶם אֶפְרָתָה צָעִיר לִֽהְיוֹת בְּאַלְפֵי יְהוּדָה מִמְּךָ לִי יֵצֵא לִֽהְיוֹת מוֹשֵׁל בְּיִשְׂרָאֵל וּמוֹצָאֹתָיו מִקֶּדֶם מִימֵי עוֹלָֽם׃

But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.
