Genesis 11

וַיִּקַּח תֶּרַח אֶת-אַבְרָם בְּנוֹ וְאֶת-לוֹט בֶּן-הָרָן בֶּן-בְּנוֹ וְאֵת שָׂרַי כַּלָּתוֹ אֵשֶׁת אַבְרָם בְּנוֹ וַיֵּֽצְאוּ אִתָּם מֵאוּר כַּשְׂדִּים לָלֶכֶת אַרְצָה כְּנַעַן וַיָּבֹאוּ עַד-חָרָן וַיֵּשְׁבוּ שָֽׁם׃

And Terah took Abram his son, and Lot the son of Haran his son's son, and Sarai his daughter in law, his son Abram's wife; and they went forth with them from Ur of the Chaldees, to go into the land of Canaan; and they came unto Haran, and dwelt there.

וַיִּֽהְיוּ יְמֵי-תֶרַח חָמֵשׁ שָׁנִים וּמָאתַיִם שָׁנָה וַיָּמָת תֶּרַח בְּחָרָֽן׃

And the days of Terah were two hundred and five years: and Terah died in Haran.

Genesis 12

וַיֵּלֶךְ אַבְרָם כַּֽאֲשֶׁר דִּבֶּר אֵלָיו יְהוָה וַיֵּלֶךְ אִתּוֹ לוֹט וְאַבְרָם בֶּן-חָמֵשׁ שָׁנִים וְשִׁבְעִים שָׁנָה בְּצֵאתוֹ מֵֽחָרָֽן׃

So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran.

וַיִּקַּח אַבְרָם אֶת-שָׂרַי אִשְׁתּוֹ וְאֶת-לוֹט בֶּן-אָחִיו וְאֶת-כָּל-רְכוּשָׁם אֲשֶׁר רָכָשׁוּ וְאֶת-הַנֶּפֶשׁ אֲשֶׁר-עָשׂוּ בְחָרָן וַיֵּֽצְאוּ לָלֶכֶת אַרְצָה כְּנַעַן וַיָּבֹאוּ אַרְצָה כְּנָֽעַן׃

And Abram took Sarai his wife, and Lot his brother's son, and all their substance that they had gathered, and the souls that they had gotten in Haran; and they went forth to go into the land of Canaan; and into the land of Canaan they came.

Genesis 27

וְעַתָּה בְנִי שְׁמַע בְּקֹלִי וְקוּם בְּרַח-לְךָ אֶל-לָבָן אָחִי חָרָֽנָה׃

Now therefore, my son, obey my voice; and arise, flee thou to Laban my brother to Haran;

Genesis 28

וַיֵּצֵא יַֽעֲקֹב מִבְּאֵר שָׁבַע וַיֵּלֶךְ חָרָֽנָה׃

And Jacob went out from Beer-sheba, and went toward Haran.

Genesis 29

וַיֹּאמֶר לָהֶם יַֽעֲקֹב אַחַי מֵאַיִן אַתֶּם וַיֹּאמְרוּ מֵֽחָרָן אֲנָֽחְנוּ׃

And Jacob said unto them, My brethren, whence be ye? And they said, Of Haran are we.

2 Kings 19

הַֽהִצִּילוּ אֹתָם אֱלֹהֵי הַגּוֹיִם אֲשֶׁר שִֽׁחֲתוּ אֲבוֹתַי אֶת-גּוֹזָן וְאֶת-חָרָן וְרֶצֶף וּבְנֵי-עֶדֶן אֲשֶׁר בִּתְלַאשָּֽׂר׃

Have the gods of the nations delivered them which my fathers have destroyed; as Gozan, and Haran, and Rezeph, and the children of Eden which were in Thelasar?

1 Chronicles 2

Isaiah 37

הַהִצִּילוּ אוֹתָם אֱלֹהֵי הַגּוֹיִם אֲשֶׁר הִשְׁחִיתוּ אֲבוֹתַי אֶת-גּוֹזָן וְאֶת-חָרָן וְרֶצֶף וּבְנֵי-עֶדֶן אֲשֶׁר בִּתְלַשָּֽׂר׃

Acts 7

ὁ δὲ ἔφη Ἄνδρες ἀδελφοὶ καὶ πατέρες ἀκούσατε Ὁ θεὸς τῆς δόξης ὤφθη τῷ πατρὶ ἡμῶν Ἀβραὰμ ὄντι ἐν τῇ Μεσοποταμίᾳ πρὶν ἢ κατοικῆσαι αὐτὸν ἐν Χαῤῥάν

And he said, Men, brethren, and fathers, hearken; The God of glory appeared unto our father Abraham, when he was in Mesopotamia, before he dwelt in Charran,

τότε ἐξελθὼν ἐκ γῆς Χαλδαίων κατῴκησεν ἐν Χαῤῥάν κἀκεῖθεν μετὰ τὸ ἀποθανεῖν τὸν πατέρα αὐτοῦ μετῴκισεν αὐτὸν εἰς τὴν γῆν ταύτην εἰς ἣν ὑμεῖς νῦν κατοικεῖτε

Then came he out of the land of the Chaldaeans, and dwelt in Charran: and from thence, when his father was dead, he removed him into this land, wherein ye now dwell.
