רֽוֹמְמוּ יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ וְהִֽשְׁתַּחֲווּ לְהַר קָדְשׁוֹ כִּֽי-קָדוֹשׁ יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵֽינוּ׃
Exalt the LORD our God, and worship at his holy hill; for the LORD our God is holy.
תְּהוֹם כַּלְּבוּשׁ כִּסִּיתוֹ עַל-הָרִים יַעַמְדוּ מָֽיִם׃
Thou coveredst it with the deep as with a garment: the waters stood above the mountains.
יַעֲלוּ הָרִים יֵרְדוּ בְקָעוֹת אֶל-מְקוֹם זֶה׀ יָסַדְתָּ לָהֶֽם׃
They go up by the mountains; they go down by the valleys unto the place which thou hast founded for them.
הַֽמְשַׁלֵּחַ מַעְיָנִים בַּנְּחָלִים בֵּין הָרִים יְהַלֵּכֽוּן׃
He sendeth the springs into the valleys, which run among the hills.
מַשְׁקֶה הָרִים מֵעֲלִיּוֹתָיו מִפְּרִי מַעֲשֶׂיךָ תִּשְׂבַּע הָאָֽרֶץ׃
He watereth the hills from his chambers: the earth is satisfied with the fruit of thy works.
הָרִים הַגְּבֹהִים לַיְּעֵלִים סְלָעִים מַחְסֶה לַֽשְׁפַנִּֽים׃
The high hills are a refuge for the wild goats; and the rocks for the conies.
הַמַּבִּיט לָאָרֶץ וַתִּרְעָד יִגַּע בֶּהָרִים וְֽיֶעֱשָֽׁנוּ׃
He looketh on the earth, and it trembleth: he toucheth the hills, and they smoke.
הֶֽהָרִים רָקְדוּ כְאֵילִים גְּבָעוֹת כִּבְנֵי-צֹֽאן׃
The mountains skipped like rams, and the little hills like lambs.
הֶֽהָרִים תִּרְקְדוּ כְאֵילִים גְּבָעוֹת כִּבְנֵי-צֹֽאן׃
Ye mountains, that ye skipped like rams; and ye little hills, like lambs?
אֶשָּׂא עֵינַי אֶל-הֶהָרִים מֵאַיִן יָבֹא עֶזְרִֽי׃
I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
הַבֹּטְחִים בַּיהוָה כְּֽהַר-צִיּוֹן לֹא-יִמּוֹט לְעוֹלָם יֵשֵֽׁב׃
They that trust in the LORD shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.
יְֽרוּשָׁלִַם הָרִים סָבִיב לָהּ וַיהוָה סָבִיב לְעַמּוֹ מֵעַתָּה וְעַד-עוֹלָֽם׃
As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the LORD is round about his people from henceforth even for ever.
יְהוָה הַט-שָׁמֶיךָ וְתֵרֵד גַּע בֶּהָרִים וְֽיֶעֱשָֽׁנוּ׃
Bow thy heavens, O LORD, and come down: touch the mountains, and they shall smoke.
הַֽמְכַסֶּה שָׁמַיִם׀ בְּעָבִים הַמֵּכִין לָאָרֶץ מָטָר הַמַּצְמִיחַ הָרִים חָצִֽיר׃
Who covereth the heaven with clouds, who prepareth rain for the earth, who maketh grass to grow upon the mountains.
הֶהָרִים וְכָל-גְּבָעוֹת עֵץ פְּרִי וְכָל-אֲרָזִֽים׃
Mountains, and all hills; fruitful trees, and all cedars:
בְּטֶרֶם הָרִים הָטְבָּעוּ לִפְנֵי גְבָעוֹת חוֹלָֽלְתִּי׃
Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth:
גָּלָה חָצִיר וְנִרְאָה-דֶשֶׁא וְנֶאֶסְפוּ עִשְּׂבוֹת הָרִֽים׃
The hay appeareth, and the tender grass sheweth itself, and herbs of the mountains are gathered.
קוֹל דּוֹדִי הִנֵּה-זֶה בָּא מְדַלֵּג עַל-הֶהָרִים מְקַפֵּץ עַל-הַגְּבָעֽוֹת׃
The voice of my beloved! behold, he cometh leaping upon the mountains, skipping upon the hills.
עַד שֶׁיָּפוּחַ הַיּוֹם וְנָסוּ הַצְּלָלִים סֹב דְּמֵה-לְךָ דוֹדִי לִצְבִי אוֹ לְעֹפֶר הָאַיָּלִים עַל-הָרֵי בָֽתֶר׃
Until the day break, and the shadows flee away, turn, my beloved, and be thou like a roe or a young hart upon the mountains of Bether.
הִנָּךְ יָפָה רַעְיָתִי הִנָּךְ יָפָה עֵינַיִךְ יוֹנִים מִבַּעַד לְצַמָּתֵךְ שַׂעְרֵךְ כְּעֵדֶר הָֽעִזִּים שֶׁגָּלְשׁוּ מֵהַר גִּלְעָֽד׃
Behold, thou art fair, my love; behold, thou art fair; thou hast doves' eyes within thy locks: thy hair is as a flock of goats, that appear from mount Gilead.
עַד שֶׁיָּפוּחַ הַיּוֹם וְנָסוּ הַצְּלָלִים אֵלֶךְ לִי אֶל-הַר הַמּוֹר וְאֶל-גִּבְעַת הַלְּבוֹנָֽה׃
Until the day break, and the shadows flee away, I will get me to the mountain of myrrh, and to the hill of frankincense.
בְּרַח׀ דּוֹדִי וּֽדְמֵה-לְךָ לִצְבִי אוֹ לְעֹפֶר הָֽאַיָּלִים עַל הָרֵי בְשָׂמִֽים׃
Make haste, my beloved, and be thou like to a roe or to a young hart upon the mountains of spices.
וְהָיָה׀ בְּאַחֲרִית הַיָּמִים נָכוֹן יִֽהְיֶה הַר בֵּית-יְהוָה בְּרֹאשׁ הֶהָרִים וְנִשָּׂא מִגְּבָעוֹת וְנָהֲרוּ אֵלָיו כָּל-הַגּוֹיִֽם׃
And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.
וְֽהָלְכוּ עַמִּים רַבִּים וְאָמְרוּ לְכוּ׀ וְנַעֲלֶה אֶל-הַר-יְהוָה אֶל-בֵּית אֱלֹהֵי יַעֲקֹב וְיֹרֵנוּ מִדְּרָכָיו וְנֵלְכָה בְּאֹרְחֹתָיו כִּי מִצִּיּוֹן תֵּצֵא תוֹרָה וּדְבַר-יְהוָה מִירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃
And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
וְעַל כָּל-הֶהָרִים הָרָמִים וְעַל כָּל-הַגְּבָעוֹת הַנִּשָּׂאֽוֹת׃
And upon all the high mountains, and upon all the hills that are lifted up,
וּבָרָא יְהוָה עַל כָּל-מְכוֹן הַר-צִיּוֹן וְעַל-מִקְרָאֶהָ עָנָן׀ יוֹמָם וְעָשָׁן וְנֹגַהּ אֵשׁ לֶהָבָה לָיְלָה כִּי עַל-כָּל-כָּבוֹד חֻפָּֽה׃
And the LORD will create upon every dwelling place of mount Zion, and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night: for upon all the glory shall be a defence.
עַל-כֵּן חָרָה אַף-יְהוָה בְּעַמּוֹ וַיֵּט יָדוֹ עָלָיו וַיַּכֵּהוּ וַֽיִּרְגְּזוּ הֶֽהָרִים וַתְּהִי נִבְלָתָם כַּסּוּחָה בְּקֶרֶב חוּצוֹת בְּכָל-זֹאת לֹא-שָׁב אַפּוֹ וְעוֹד יָדוֹ נְטוּיָֽה׃
Therefore is the anger of the LORD kindled against his people, and he hath stretched forth his hand against them, and hath smitten them: and the hills did tremble, and their carcases were torn in the midst of the streets. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.
וְכֹל הֶהָרִים אֲשֶׁר בַּמַּעְדֵּר יֵעָדֵרוּן לֹֽא-תָבוֹא שָׁמָּה יִרְאַת שָׁמִיר וָשָׁיִת וְהָיָה לְמִשְׁלַח שׁוֹר וּלְמִרְמַס שֶֽׂה׃
And on all hills that shall be digged with the mattock, there shall not come thither the fear of briers and thorns: but it shall be for the sending forth of oxen, and for the treading of lesser cattle.
הִנֵּה אָנֹכִי וְהַיְלָדִים אֲשֶׁר נָֽתַן-לִי יְהוָה לְאֹתוֹת וּלְמוֹפְתִים בְּיִשְׂרָאֵל מֵעִם יְהוָה צְבָאוֹת הַשֹּׁכֵן בְּהַר צִיּֽוֹן׃
Behold, I and the children whom the LORD hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the LORD of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion.
וְהָיָה כִּֽי-יְבַצַּע אֲדֹנָי אֶת-כָּל-מַֽעֲשֵׂהוּ בְּהַר צִיּוֹן וּבִירוּשָׁלִָם אֶפְקֹד עַל-פְּרִי-גֹדֶל לְבַב מֶֽלֶךְ-אַשּׁוּר וְעַל-תִּפְאֶרֶת רוּם עֵינָֽיו׃
Wherefore it shall come to pass, that when the Lord hath performed his whole work upon mount Zion and on Jerusalem, I will punish the fruit of the stout heart of the king of Assyria, and the glory of his high looks.
עוֹד הַיּוֹם בְּנֹב לַֽעֲמֹד יְנֹפֵף יָדוֹ הַר (בית) בַּת-צִיּוֹן גִּבְעַת יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃
As yet shall he remain at Nob that day: he shall shake his hand against the mount of the daughter of Zion, the hill of Jerusalem.
לֹֽא-יָרֵעוּ וְלֹֽא-יַשְׁחִיתוּ בְּכָל-הַר קָדְשִׁי כִּֽי-מָלְאָה הָאָרֶץ דֵּעָה אֶת-יְהוָה כַּמַּיִם לַיָּם מְכַסִּֽים׃
They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.
עַל הַר-נִשְׁפֶּה שְֽׂאוּ-נֵס הָרִימוּ קוֹל לָהֶם הָנִיפוּ יָד וְיָבֹאוּ פִּתְחֵי נְדִיבִֽים׃
Lift ye up a banner upon the high mountain, exalt the voice unto them, shake the hand, that they may go into the gates of the nobles.
קוֹל הָמוֹן בֶּֽהָרִים דְּמוּת עַם-רָב קוֹל שְׁאוֹן מַמְלְכוֹת גּוֹיִם נֶֽאֱסָפִים יְהוָה צְבָאוֹת מְפַקֵּד צְבָא מִלְחָמָֽה׃
The noise of a multitude in the mountains, like as of a great people; a tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of nations gathered together: the LORD of hosts mustereth the host of the battle.
וְאַתָּה אָמַרְתָּ בִֽלְבָבְךָ הַשָּׁמַיִם אֶֽעֱלֶה מִמַּעַל לְכֽוֹכְבֵי-אֵל אָרִים כִּסְאִי וְאֵשֵׁב בְּהַר-מוֹעֵד בְּיַרְכְּתֵי צָפֽוֹן׃
For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
לִשְׁבֹּר אַשּׁוּר בְּאַרְצִי וְעַל-הָרַי אֲבוּסֶנּוּ וְסָר מֵֽעֲלֵיהֶם עֻלּוֹ וְסֻבֳּלוֹ מֵעַל שִׁכְמוֹ יָסֽוּר׃
That I will break the Assyrian in my land, and upon my mountains tread him under foot: then shall his yoke depart from off them, and his burden depart from off their shoulders.
שִׁלְחוּ-כַר מֹשֵֽׁל-אֶרֶץ מִסֶּלַע מִדְבָּרָה אֶל-הַר בַּת-צִיּֽוֹן׃
Send ye the lamb to the ruler of the land from Sela to the wilderness, unto the mount of the daughter of Zion.
לְאֻמִּים כִּשְׁאוֹן מַיִם רַבִּים יִשָּׁאוּן וְגָעַר בּוֹ וְנָס מִמֶּרְחָק וְרֻדַּף כְּמֹץ הָרִים לִפְנֵי-רוּחַ וּכְגַלְגַּל לִפְנֵי סוּפָֽה׃
The nations shall rush like the rushing of many waters: but God shall rebuke them, and they shall flee far off, and shall be chased as the chaff of the mountains before the wind, and like a rolling thing before the whirlwind.
כָּל-יֹשְׁבֵי תֵבֵל וְשֹׁכְנֵי אָרֶץ כִּנְשֹׂא-נֵס הָרִים תִּרְאוּ וְכִתְקֹעַ שׁוֹפָר תִּשְׁמָֽעוּ׃
All ye inhabitants of the world, and dwellers on the earth, see ye, when he lifteth up an ensign on the mountains; and when he bloweth a trumpet, hear ye.
יֵעָזְבוּ יַחְדָּו לְעֵיט הָרִים וּֽלְבֶהֱמַת הָאָרֶץ וְקָץ עָלָיו הָעַיִט וְכָל-בֶּהֱמַת הָאָרֶץ עָלָיו תֶּחֱרָֽף׃
They shall be left together unto the fowls of the mountains, and to the beasts of the earth: and the fowls shall summer upon them, and all the beasts of the earth shall winter upon them.
בָּעֵת הַהִיא יֽוּבַל-שַׁי לַיהוָה צְבָאוֹת עַם מְמֻשָּׁךְ וּמוֹרָט וּמֵעַם נוֹרָא מִן-הוּא וָהָלְאָה גּוֹי׀ קַו-קָו וּמְבוּסָה אֲשֶׁר בָּזְאוּ נְהָרִים אַרְצוֹ אֶל-מְקוֹם שֵׁם-יְהוָה צְבָאוֹת הַר-צִיּֽוֹן׃
In that time shall the present be brought unto the LORD of hosts of a people scattered and peeled, and from a people terrible from their beginning hitherto; a nation meted out and trodden under foot, whose land the rivers have spoiled, to the place of the name of the LORD of hosts, the mount Zion.
כִּי יוֹם מְהוּמָה וּמְבוּסָה וּמְבוּכָה לַֽאדֹנָי יְהוִה צְבָאוֹת בְּגֵי חִזָּיוֹן מְקַרְקַר קִר וְשׁוֹעַ אֶל-הָהָֽר׃
For it is a day of trouble, and of treading down, and of perplexity by the Lord GOD of hosts in the valley of vision, breaking down the walls, and of crying to the mountains.
וְחָֽפְרָה הַלְּבָנָה וּבוֹשָׁה הַֽחַמָּה כִּֽי-מָלַךְ יְהוָה צְבָאוֹת בְּהַר צִיּוֹן וּבִירוּשָׁלִַם וְנֶגֶד זְקֵנָיו כָּבֽוֹד׃
Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when the LORD of hosts shall reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients gloriously.
וְעָשָׂה יְהוָה צְבָאוֹת לְכָל-הָֽעַמִּים בָּהָר הַזֶּה מִשְׁתֵּה שְׁמָנִים מִשְׁתֵּה שְׁמָרִים שְׁמָנִים מְמֻחָיִם שְׁמָרִים מְזֻקָּקִֽים׃
And in this mountain shall the LORD of hosts make unto all people a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well refined.
וּבִלַּע בָּהָר הַזֶּה פְּנֵֽי-הַלּוֹט׀ הַלּוֹט עַל-כָּל-הָֽעַמִּים וְהַמַּסֵּכָה הַנְּסוּכָה עַל-כָּל-הַגּוֹיִֽם׃
And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the vail that is spread over all nations.
כִּֽי-תָנוּחַ יַד-יְהוָה בָּהָר הַזֶּה וְנָדוֹשׁ מוֹאָב תַּחְתָּיו כְּהִדּוּשׁ מַתְבֵּן (במי) בְּמוֹ מַדְמֵנָֽה׃
For in this mountain shall the hand of the LORD rest, and Moab shall be trodden down under him, even as straw is trodden down for the dunghill.
וְהָיָה׀ בַּיּוֹם הַהוּא יִתָּקַע בְּשׁוֹפָר גָּדוֹל וּבָאוּ הָאֹֽבְדִים בְּאֶרֶץ אַשּׁוּר וְהַנִּדָּחִים בְּאֶרֶץ מִצְרָיִם וְהִשְׁתַּחֲווּ לַיהוָה בְּהַר הַקֹּדֶשׁ בִּירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃
And it shall come to pass in that day, that the great trumpet shall be blown, and they shall come which were ready to perish in the land of Assyria, and the outcasts in the land of Egypt, and shall worship the LORD in the holy mount at Jerusalem.
כִּי כְהַר-פְּרָצִים יָקוּם יְהוָה כְּעֵמֶק בְּגִבְעוֹן יִרְגָּז לַעֲשׂוֹת מַעֲשֵׂהוּ זָר מַעֲשֵׂהוּ וְלַֽעֲבֹד עֲבֹדָתוֹ נָכְרִיָּה עֲבֹדָתֽוֹ׃
For the LORD shall rise up as in mount Perazim, he shall be wroth as in the valley of Gibeon, that he may do his work, his strange work; and bring to pass his act, his strange act.
וְהָיָה כַּאֲשֶׁר יַחֲלֹם הָרָעֵב וְהִנֵּה אוֹכֵל וְהֵקִיץ וְרֵיקָה נַפְשׁוֹ וְכַאֲשֶׁר יַחֲלֹם הַצָּמֵא וְהִנֵּה שֹׁתֶה וְהֵקִיץ וְהִנֵּה עָיֵף וְנַפְשׁוֹ שׁוֹקֵקָה כֵּן יִֽהְיֶה הֲמוֹן כָּל-הַגּוֹיִם הַצֹּבְאִים עַל-הַר צִיּֽוֹן׃
It shall even be as when an hungry man dreameth, and, behold, he eateth; but he awaketh, and his soul is empty: or as when a thirsty man dreameth, and, behold, he drinketh; but he awaketh, and, behold, he is faint, and his soul hath appetite: so shall the multitude of all the nations be, that fight against mount Zion.
אֶלֶף אֶחָד מִפְּנֵי גַּעֲרַת אֶחָד מִפְּנֵי גַּעֲרַת חֲמִשָּׁה תָּנֻסוּ עַד אִם-נוֹתַרְתֶּם כַּתֹּרֶן עַל-רֹאשׁ הָהָר וְכַנֵּס עַל-הַגִּבְעָֽה׃
One thousand shall flee at the rebuke of one; at the rebuke of five shall ye flee: till ye be left as a beacon upon the top of a mountain, and as an ensign on an hill.
וְהָיָה׀ עַל-כָּל-הַר גָּבֹהַ וְעַל כָּל-גִּבְעָה נִשָּׂאָה פְּלָגִים יִבְלֵי-מָיִם בְּיוֹם הֶרֶג רָב בִּנְפֹל מִגְדָּלִֽים׃
And there shall be upon every high mountain, and upon every high hill, rivers and streams of waters in the day of the great slaughter, when the towers fall.
הַשִּׁיר יִֽהְיֶה לָכֶם כְּלֵיל הִתְקַדֶּשׁ-חָג וְשִׂמְחַת לֵבָב כַּֽהוֹלֵךְ בֶּֽחָלִיל לָבוֹא בְהַר-יְהוָה אֶל-צוּר יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
Ye shall have a song, as in the night when a holy solemnity is kept; and gladness of heart, as when one goeth with a pipe to come into the mountain of the LORD, to the mighty One of Israel.
כִּי כֹה אָֽמַר-יְהוָה׀ אֵלַי כַּאֲשֶׁר יֶהְגֶּה הָאַרְיֵה וְהַכְּפִיר עַל-טַרְפּוֹ אֲשֶׁר יִקָּרֵא עָלָיו מְלֹא רֹעִים מִקּוֹלָם לֹא יֵחָת וּמֵֽהֲמוֹנָם לֹא יַֽעֲנֶה כֵּן יֵרֵד יְהוָה צְבָאוֹת לִצְבֹּא עַל-הַר-צִיּוֹן וְעַל-גִּבְעָתָֽהּ׃
For thus hath the LORD spoken unto me, Like as the lion and the young lion roaring on his prey, when a multitude of shepherds is called forth against him, he will not be afraid of their voice, nor abase himself for the noise of them: so shall the LORD of hosts come down to fight for mount Zion, and for the hill thereof.
וְחַלְלֵיהֶם יֻשְׁלָכוּ וּפִגְרֵיהֶם יַעֲלֶה בָאְשָׁם וְנָמַסּוּ הָרִים מִדָּמָֽם׃
Their slain also shall be cast out, and their stink shall come up out of their carcases, and the mountains shall be melted with their blood.
בְּיַד עֲבָדֶיךָ חֵרַפְתָּ׀ אֲדֹנָי וַתֹּאמֶר בְּרֹב רִכְבִּי אֲנִי עָלִיתִי מְרוֹם הָרִים יַרְכְּתֵי לְבָנוֹן וְאֶכְרֹת קוֹמַת אֲרָזָיו מִבְחַר בְּרֹשָׁיו וְאָבוֹא מְרוֹם קִצּוֹ יַעַר כַּרְמִלּֽוֹ׃
By thy servants hast thou reproached the Lord, and hast said, By the multitude of my chariots am I come up to the height of the mountains, to the sides of Lebanon; and I will cut down the tall cedars thereof, and the choice fir trees thereof: and I will enter into the height of his border, and the forest of his Carmel.
כִּי מִירֽוּשָׁלִַם תֵּצֵא שְׁאֵרִית וּפְלֵיטָה מֵהַר צִיּוֹן קִנְאַת יְהוָה צְבָאוֹת תַּֽעֲשֶׂה-זֹּֽאת׃
For out of Jerusalem shall go forth a remnant, and they that escape out of mount Zion: the zeal of the LORD of hosts shall do this.
כָּל-גֶּיא יִנָּשֵׂא וְכָל-הַר וְגִבְעָה יִשְׁפָּלוּ וְהָיָה הֶֽעָקֹב לְמִישׁוֹר וְהָרְכָסִים לְבִקְעָֽה׃
Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain:
עַל הַר-גָּבֹהַ עֲלִי-לָךְ מְבַשֶּׂרֶת צִיּוֹן הָרִימִי בַכֹּחַ קוֹלֵךְ מְבַשֶּׂרֶת יְרוּשָׁלִָם הָרִימִי אַל-תִּירָאִי אִמְרִי לְעָרֵי יְהוּדָה הִנֵּה אֱלֹהֵיכֶֽם׃
O Zion, that bringest good tidings, get thee up into the high mountain; O Jerusalem, that bringest good tidings, lift up thy voice with strength; lift it up, be not afraid; say unto the cities of Judah, Behold your God!
מִֽי-מָדַד בְּשָׁעֳלוֹ מַיִם וְשָׁמַיִם בַּזֶּרֶת תִּכֵּן וְכָל בַּשָּׁלִשׁ עֲפַר הָאָרֶץ וְשָׁקַל בַּפֶּלֶס הָרִים וּגְבָעוֹת בְּמֹאזְנָֽיִם׃
Who hath measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, and meted out heaven with the span, and comprehended the dust of the earth in a measure, and weighed the mountains in scales, and the hills in a balance?
הִנֵּה שַׂמְתִּיךְ לְמוֹרַג חָרוּץ חָדָשׁ בַּעַל פִּֽיפִיּוֹת תָּדוּשׁ הָרִים וְתָדֹק וּגְבָעוֹת כַּמֹּץ תָּשִֽׂים׃
Behold, I will make thee a new sharp threshing instrument having teeth: thou shalt thresh the mountains, and beat them small, and shalt make the hills as chaff.
יִשְׂאוּ מִדְבָּר וְעָרָיו חֲצֵרִים תֵּשֵׁב קֵדָר יָרֹנּוּ יֹשְׁבֵי סֶלַע מֵרֹאשׁ הָרִים יִצְוָֽחוּ׃
Let the wilderness and the cities thereof lift up their voice, the villages that Kedar doth inhabit: let the inhabitants of the rock sing, let them shout from the top of the mountains.
אַחֲרִיב הָרִים וּגְבָעוֹת וְכָל-עֶשְׂבָּם אוֹבִישׁ וְשַׂמְתִּי נְהָרוֹת לָֽאִיִּים וַאֲגַמִּים אוֹבִֽישׁ׃
I will make waste mountains and hills, and dry up all their herbs; and I will make the rivers islands, and I will dry up the pools.
רָנּוּ שָׁמַיִם כִּֽי-עָשָׂה יְהוָה הָרִיעוּ תַּחְתִּיּוֹת אָרֶץ פִּצְחוּ הָרִים רִנָּה יַעַר וְכָל-עֵץ בּוֹ כִּֽי-גָאַל יְהוָה יַֽעֲקֹב וּבְיִשְׂרָאֵל יִתְפָּאָֽר׃
Sing, O ye heavens; for the LORD hath done it: shout, ye lower parts of the earth: break forth into singing, ye mountains, O forest, and every tree therein: for the LORD hath redeemed Jacob, and glorified himself in Israel.
וְשַׂמְתִּי כָל-הָרַי לַדָּרֶךְ וּמְסִלֹּתַי יְרֻמֽוּן׃
And I will make all my mountains a way, and my highways shall be exalted.
רָנּוּ שָׁמַיִם וְגִילִי אָרֶץ (יפצחו) וּפִצְחוּ הָרִים רִנָּה כִּֽי-נִחַם יְהוָה עַמּוֹ וַֽעֲנִיָּו יְרַחֵֽם׃
Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and break forth into singing, O mountains: for the LORD hath comforted his people, and will have mercy upon his afflicted.
מַה-נָּאווּ עַל-הֶהָרִים רַגְלֵי מְבַשֵּׂר מַשְׁמִיעַ שָׁלוֹם מְבַשֵּׂר טוֹב מַשְׁמִיעַ יְשׁוּעָה אֹמֵר לְצִיּוֹן מָלַךְ אֱלֹהָֽיִךְ׃
How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!
כִּי הֶֽהָרִים יָמוּשׁוּ וְהַגְּבָעוֹת תְּמוּטֶינָה וְחַסְדִּי מֵאִתֵּךְ לֹֽא-יָמוּשׁ וּבְרִית שְׁלוֹמִי לֹא תָמוּט אָמַר מְרַחֲמֵךְ יְהוָֽה׃
For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the LORD that hath mercy on thee.
כִּֽי-בְשִׂמְחָה תֵצֵאוּ וּבְשָׁלוֹם תּֽוּבָלוּן הֶהָרִים וְהַגְּבָעוֹת יִפְצְחוּ לִפְנֵיכֶם רִנָּה וְכָל-עֲצֵי הַשָּׂדֶה יִמְחֲאוּ-כָֽף׃
For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.
וַהֲבִיאוֹתִים אֶל-הַר קָדְשִׁי וְשִׂמַּחְתִּים בְּבֵית תְּפִלָּתִי עוֹלֹתֵיהֶם וְזִבְחֵיהֶם לְרָצוֹן עַֽל-מִזְבְּחִי כִּי בֵיתִי בֵּית-תְּפִלָּה יִקָּרֵא לְכָל-הָעַמִּֽים׃
Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.
עַל הַר-גָּבֹהַּ וְנִשָּׂא שַׂמְתְּ מִשְׁכָּבֵךְ גַּם-שָׁם עָלִית לִזְבֹּחַ זָֽבַח׃
Upon a lofty and high mountain hast thou set thy bed: even thither wentest thou up to offer sacrifice.
בְּזַֽעֲקֵךְ יַצִּילֻךְ קִבּוּצַיִךְ וְאֶת-כֻּלָּם יִשָּׂא-רוּחַ יִקַּח-הָבֶל וְהַחוֹסֶה בִי יִנְחַל-אֶרֶץ וְיִירַשׁ הַר-קָדְשִֽׁי׃
When thou criest, let thy companies deliver thee; but the wind shall carry them all away; vanity shall take them: but he that putteth his trust in me shall possess the land, and shall inherit my holy mountain;
לוּא-קָרַעְתָּ שָׁמַיִם יָרַדְתָּ מִפָּנֶיךָ הָרִים נָזֹֽלּוּ׃
Oh that thou wouldest rend the heavens, that thou wouldest come down, that the mountains might flow down at thy presence,
בַּעֲשׂוֹתְךָ נוֹרָאוֹת לֹא נְקַוֶּה יָרַדְתָּ מִפָּנֶיךָ הָרִים נָזֹֽלּוּ׃
When thou didst terrible things which we looked not for, thou camest down, the mountains flowed down at thy presence.
עֲוֹנֹֽתֵיכֶם וַעֲוֺנֹת אֲבוֹתֵיכֶם יַחְדָּו אָמַר יְהוָה אֲשֶׁר קִטְּרוּ עַל-הֶהָרִים וְעַל-הַגְּבָעוֹת חֵרְפוּנִי וּמַדֹּתִי פְעֻלָּתָם רִֽאשֹׁנָה (על) אֶל-חֵיקָֽם׃
Your iniquities, and the iniquities of your fathers together, saith the LORD, which have burned incense upon the mountains, and blasphemed me upon the hills: therefore will I measure their former work into their bosom.
וְהוֹצֵאתִי מִֽיַּעֲקֹב זֶרַע וּמִיהוּדָה יוֹרֵשׁ הָרָי וִירֵשׁוּהָ בְחִירַי וַעֲבָדַי יִשְׁכְּנוּ-שָֽׁמָּה׃
And I will bring forth a seed out of Jacob, and out of Judah an inheritor of my mountains: and mine elect shall inherit it, and my servants shall dwell there.
וְאַתֶּם עֹזְבֵי יְהוָה הַשְּׁכֵחִים אֶת-הַר קָדְשִׁי הַֽעֹרְכִים לַגַּד שֻׁלְחָן וְהַֽמְמַלְאִים לַמְנִי מִמְסָֽךְ׃
But ye are they that forsake the LORD, that forget my holy mountain, that prepare a table for that troop, and that furnish the drink offering unto that number.
זְאֵב וְטָלֶה יִרְעוּ כְאֶחָד וְאַרְיֵה כַּבָּקָר יֹֽאכַל-תֶּבֶן וְנָחָשׁ עָפָר לַחְמוֹ לֹֽא-יָרֵעוּ וְלֹֽא-יַשְׁחִיתוּ בְּכָל-הַר קָדְשִׁי אָמַר יְהוָֽה׃
The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent's meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD.
וְהֵבִיאוּ אֶת-כָּל-אֲחֵיכֶם מִכָּל-הַגּוֹיִם׀ מִנְחָה׀ לַֽיהוָה בַּסּוּסִים וּבָרֶכֶב וּבַצַּבִּים וּבַפְּרָדִים וּבַכִּרְכָּרוֹת עַל הַר קָדְשִׁי יְרוּשָׁלִַם אָמַר יְהוָה כַּאֲשֶׁר יָבִיאוּ בְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל אֶת-הַמִּנְחָה בִּכְלִי טָהוֹר בֵּית יְהוָֽה׃
And they shall bring all your brethren for an offering unto the LORD out of all nations upon horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and upon mules, and upon swift beasts, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, saith the LORD, as the children of Israel bring an offering in a clean vessel into the house of the LORD.
וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה אֵלַי בִּימֵי יֹאשִׁיָּהוּ הַמֶּלֶךְ הֲֽרָאִיתָ אֲשֶׁר עָשְׂתָה מְשֻׁבָה יִשְׂרָאֵל הֹלְכָה הִיא עַל-כָּל-הַר גָּבֹהַּ וְאֶל-תַּחַת כָּל-עֵץ רַעֲנָן וַתִּזְנִי-שָֽׁם׃
The LORD said also unto me in the days of Josiah the king, Hast thou seen that which backsliding Israel hath done? she is gone up upon every high mountain and under every green tree, and there hath played the harlot.
אָכֵן לַשֶּׁקֶר מִגְּבָעוֹת הָמוֹן הָרִים אָכֵן בַּיהוָֹה אֱלֹהֵינוּ תְּשׁוּעַת יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
Truly in vain is salvation hoped for from the hills, and from the multitude of mountains: truly in the LORD our God is the salvation of Israel.
כִּי קוֹל מַגִּיד מִדָּן וּמַשְׁמִיעַ אָוֶן מֵהַר אֶפְרָֽיִם׃
For a voice declareth from Dan, and publisheth affliction from mount Ephraim.
רָאִיתִי הֶֽהָרִים וְהִנֵּה רֹעֲשִׁים וְכָל-הַגְּבָעוֹת הִתְקַלְקָֽלוּ׃
I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly.
עַל-הֶהָרִים אֶשָּׂא בְכִי וָנֶהִי וְעַל-נְאוֹת מִדְבָּר קִינָה כִּי נִצְּתוּ מִבְּלִי-אִישׁ עֹבֵר וְלֹא שָׁמְעוּ קוֹל מִקְנֶה מֵעוֹף הַשָּׁמַיִם וְעַד-בְּהֵמָה נָדְדוּ הָלָֽכוּ׃
For the mountains will I take up a weeping and wailing, and for the habitations of the wilderness a lamentation, because they are burned up, so that none can pass through them; neither can men hear the voice of the cattle; both the fowl of the heavens and the beast are fled; they are gone.
תְּנוּ לַיהוָה אֱלֹהֵיכֶם כָּבוֹד בְּטֶרֶם יַחְשִׁךְ וּבְטֶרֶם יִֽתְנַגְּפוּ רַגְלֵיכֶם עַל-הָרֵי נָשֶׁף וְקִוִּיתֶם לְאוֹר וְשָׂמָהּ לְצַלְמָוֶת (ישית) וְשִׁית לַעֲרָפֶֽל׃
Give glory to the LORD your God, before he cause darkness, and before your feet stumble upon the dark mountains, and, while ye look for light, he turn it into the shadow of death, and make it gross darkness.
הִנְנִי שֹׁלֵחַ (לדוגים) לְדַיָּגִים רַבִּים נְאֻם-יְהוָה וְדִיגוּם וְאַֽחֲרֵי-כֵן אֶשְׁלַח לְרַבִּים צַיָּדִים וְצָדוּם מֵעַל כָּל-הַר וּמֵעַל כָּל-גִּבְעָה וּמִנְּקִיקֵי הַסְּלָעִֽים׃
Behold, I will send for many fishers, saith the LORD, and they shall fish them; and after will I send for many hunters, and they shall hunt them from every mountain, and from every hill, and out of the holes of the rocks.
וּבָאוּ מֵעָרֵֽי-יְהוּדָה וּמִסְּבִיבוֹת יְרוּשָׁלִַם וּמֵאֶרֶץ בִּנְיָמִן וּמִן-הַשְּׁפֵלָה וּמִן-הָהָר וּמִן-הַנֶּגֶב מְבִאִים עוֹלָה וְזֶבַח וּמִנְחָה וּלְבוֹנָה וּמְבִאֵי תוֹדָה בֵּית יְהוָֽה׃
And they shall come from the cities of Judah, and from the places about Jerusalem, and from the land of Benjamin, and from the plain, and from the mountains, and from the south, bringing burnt offerings, and sacrifices, and meat offerings, and incense, and bringing sacrifices of praise, unto the house of the LORD.
(מיכיה) מִיכָה הַמּוֹרַשְׁתִּי הָיָה נִבָּא בִּימֵי חִזְקִיָּהוּ מֶֽלֶךְ-יְהוּדָה וַיֹּאמֶר אֶל-כָּל-עַם יְהוּדָה לֵאמֹר כֹּֽה-אָמַר׀ יְהוָה צְבָאוֹת צִיּוֹן שָׂדֶה תֵֽחָרֵשׁ וִירוּשָׁלַיִם עִיִּים תִּֽהְיֶה וְהַר הַבַּיִת לְבָמוֹת יָֽעַר׃
Micah the Morasthite prophesied in the days of Hezekiah king of Judah, and spake to all the people of Judah, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Zion shall be plowed like a field, and Jerusalem shall become heaps, and the mountain of the house as the high places of a forest.
עוֹד תִּטְּעִי כְרָמִים בְּהָרֵי שֹֽׁמְרוֹן נָטְעוּ נֹטְעִים וְחִלֵּֽלוּ׃
Thou shalt yet plant vines upon the mountains of Samaria: the planters shall plant, and shall eat them as common things.
כִּי יֶשׁ-יוֹם קָרְאוּ נֹצְרִים בְּהַר אֶפְרָיִם קוּמוּ וְנַעֲלֶה צִיּוֹן אֶל-יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵֽינוּ׃
For there shall be a day, that the watchmen upon the mount Ephraim shall cry, Arise ye, and let us go up to Zion unto the LORD our God.
כֹּֽה-אָמַר יְהוָה צְבָאוֹת אֱלֹהֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל עוֹד יֹאמְרוּ אֶת-הַדָּבָר הַזֶּה בְּאֶרֶץ יְהוּדָה וּבְעָרָיו בְּשׁוּבִי אֶת-שְׁבוּתָם יְבָרֶכְךָ יְהוָה נְוֵה-צֶדֶק הַר הַקֹּֽדֶשׁ׃
Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; As yet they shall use this speech in the land of Judah and in the cities thereof, when I shall bring again their captivity; The LORD bless thee, O habitation of justice, and mountain of holiness.
שָׂדוֹת בַּכֶּסֶף יִקְנוּ וְכָתוֹב בַּסֵּפֶר׀ וְחָתוֹם וְהָעֵד עֵדִים בְּאֶרֶץ בִּנְיָמִן וּבִסְבִיבֵי יְרוּשָׁלִַם וּבְעָרֵי יְהוּדָה וּבְעָרֵי הָהָר וּבְעָרֵי הַשְּׁפֵלָה וּבְעָרֵי הַנֶּגֶב כִּֽי-אָשִׁיב אֶת-שְׁבוּתָם נְאֻם-יְהוָֽה׃
Men shall buy fields for money, and subscribe evidences, and seal them, and take witnesses in the land of Benjamin, and in the places about Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah, and in the cities of the mountains, and in the cities of the valley, and in the cities of the south: for I will cause their captivity to return, saith the LORD.
בְּעָרֵי הָהָר בְּעָרֵי הַשְּׁפֵלָה וּבְעָרֵי הַנֶּגֶב וּבְאֶרֶץ בִּנְיָמִן וּבִסְבִיבֵי יְרוּשָׁלִַם וּבְעָרֵי יְהוּדָה עֹד תַּעֲבֹרְנָה הַצֹּאן עַל-יְדֵי מוֹנֶה אָמַר יְהוָֽה׃
In the cities of the mountains, in the cities of the vale, and in the cities of the south, and in the land of Benjamin, and in the places about Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah, shall the flocks pass again under the hands of him that telleth them, saith the LORD.
חַי-אָנִי נְאֻם-הַמֶּלֶךְ יְהוָה צְבָאוֹת שְׁמוֹ כִּי כְּתָבוֹר בֶּֽהָרִים וּכְכַרְמֶל בַּיָּם יָבֽוֹא׃
As I live, saith the King, whose name is the LORD of hosts, Surely as Tabor is among the mountains, and as Carmel by the sea, so shall he come.
צֹאן אֹֽבְדוֹת (היה) הָיוּ עַמִּי רֹעֵיהֶם הִתְעוּם הָרִים (שובבים) שֽׁוֹבְבוּם מֵהַר אֶל-גִּבְעָה הָלָכוּ שָׁכְחוּ רִבְצָֽם׃
My people hath been lost sheep: their shepherds have caused them to go astray, they have turned them away on the mountains: they have gone from mountain to hill, they have forgotten their restingplace.
וְשֹׁבַבְתִּי אֶת-יִשְׂרָאֵל אֶל-נָוֵהוּ וְרָעָה הַכַּרְמֶל וְהַבָּשָׁן וּבְהַר אֶפְרַיִם וְהַגִּלְעָד תִּשְׂבַּע נַפְשֽׁוֹ׃
And I will bring Israel again to his habitation, and he shall feed on Carmel and Bashan, and his soul shall be satisfied upon mount Ephraim and Gilead.
הִנְנִי אֵלֶיךָ הַר הַמַּשְׁחִית נְאֻם-יְהוָה הַמַּשְׁחִית אֶת-כָּל-הָאָרֶץ וְנָטִיתִי אֶת-יָדִי עָלֶיךָ וְגִלְגַּלְתִּיךָ מִן-הַסְּלָעִים וּנְתַתִּיךָ לְהַר שְׂרֵפָֽה׃
Behold, I am against thee, O destroying mountain, saith the LORD, which destroyest all the earth: and I will stretch out mine hand upon thee, and roll thee down from the rocks, and will make thee a burnt mountain.
קַלִּים הָיוּ רֹדְפֵינוּ מִנִּשְׁרֵי שָׁמָיִם עַל-הֶהָרִים דְּלָקֻנוּ בַּמִּדְבָּר אָרְבוּ לָֽנוּ׃
Our persecutors are swifter than the eagles of the heaven: they pursued us upon the mountains, they laid wait for us in the wilderness.
עַל הַר-צִיּוֹן שֶׁשָּׁמֵם שׁוּעָלִים הִלְּכוּ-בֽוֹ׃
Because of the mountain of Zion, which is desolate, the foxes walk upon it.
בֶּן-אָדָם שִׂים פָּנֶיךָ אֶל-הָרֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וְהִנָּבֵא אֲלֵיהֶֽם׃
Son of man, set thy face toward the mountains of Israel, and prophesy against them,
וְאָמַרְתָּ הָרֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל שִׁמְעוּ דְּבַר-אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה כֹּה-אָמַר אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה לֶהָרִים וְלַגְּבָעוֹת לָאֲפִיקִים (ולגאית) וְלַגֵּאָיוֹת הִנְנִי אֲנִי מֵבִיא עֲלֵיכֶם חֶרֶב וְאִבַּדְתִּי בָּמֽוֹתֵיכֶֽם׃
And say, Ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord GOD; Thus saith the Lord GOD to the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys; Behold, I, even I, will bring a sword upon you, and I will destroy your high places.
