יַקְנִאֻהוּ בְּזָרִים בְּתֽוֹעֵבֹת יַכְעִיסֻֽהוּ׃
They provoked him to jealousy with strange gods, with abominations provoked they him to anger.

וְלֹֽא-יִזְבְּחוּ עוֹד אֶת-זִבְחֵיהֶם לַשְּׂעִירִם אֲשֶׁר הֵם זֹנִים אַֽחֲרֵיהֶם חֻקַּת עוֹלָם תִּֽהְיֶה-זֹּאת לָהֶם לְדֹֽרֹתָֽם׃
And they shall no more offer their sacrifices unto devils, after whom they have gone a whoring. This shall be a statute for ever unto them throughout their generations.
וַיַּֽעֲמֶד-לוֹ כֹּֽהֲנִים לַבָּמוֹת וְלַשְּׂעִירִים וְלָֽעֲגָלִים אֲשֶׁר עָשָֽׂה׃
And he ordained him priests for the high places, and for the devils, and for the calves which he had made.
