Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.

εἴ τις λαλεῖ ὡς λόγια θεοῦ· εἴ τις διακονεῖ ὡς ἐξ ἰσχύος ἧς χορηγεῖ ὁ θεός ἵνα ἐν πᾶσιν δοξάζηται ὁ θεὸς διὰ Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ ᾧ ἐστιν ἡ δόξα καὶ τὸ κράτος εἰς τοὺς αἰῶνας τῶν αἰώνων ἀμήν
If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
וַֽאֲכַלְתֶּם-שָׁם לִפְנֵי יְהוָה אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶם וּשְׂמַחְתֶּם בְּכֹל מִשְׁלַח יֶדְכֶם אַתֶּם וּבָֽתֵּיכֶם אֲשֶׁר בֵּֽרַכְךָ יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶֽיךָ׃
And there ye shall eat before the LORD your God, and ye shall rejoice in all that ye put your hand unto, ye and your households, wherein the LORD thy God hath blessed thee.
כִּי אִם-לִפְנֵי יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ תֹּֽאכְלֶנּוּ בַּמָּקוֹם אֲשֶׁר יִבְחַר יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ בּוֹ אַתָּה וּבִנְךָ וּבִתֶּךָ וְעַבְדְּךָ וַֽאֲמָתֶךָ וְהַלֵּוִי אֲשֶׁר בִּשְׁעָרֶיךָ וְשָֽׂמַחְתָּ לִפְנֵי יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ בְּכֹל מִשְׁלַח יָדֶֽךָ׃
But thou must eat them before the LORD thy God in the place which the LORD thy God shall choose, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy manservant, and thy maidservant, and the Levite that is within thy gates: and thou shalt rejoice before the LORD thy God in all that thou puttest thine hands unto.
אֱמֹר אֶל-כָּל-עַם הָאָרֶץ וְאֶל-הַכֹּהֲנִים לֵאמֹר כִּֽי-צַמְתֶּם וְסָפוֹד בַּחֲמִישִׁי וּבַשְּׁבִיעִי וְזֶה שִׁבְעִים שָׁנָה הֲצוֹם צַמְתֻּנִי אָֽנִי׃
Speak unto all the people of the land, and to the priests, saying, When ye fasted and mourned in the fifth and seventh month, even those seventy years, did ye at all fast unto me, even to me?
וּשְׂמַחְתֶּם לִפְנֵי יְהוָה אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶם אַתֶּם וּבְנֵיכֶם וּבְנֹתֵיכֶם וְעַבְדֵיכֶם וְאַמְהֹֽתֵיכֶם וְהַלֵּוִי אֲשֶׁר בְּשַֽׁעֲרֵיכֶם כִּי אֵין לוֹ חֵלֶק וְנַֽחֲלָה אִתְּכֶֽם׃
And ye shall rejoice before the LORD your God, ye, and your sons, and your daughters, and your menservants, and your maidservants, and the Levite that is within your gates; forasmuch as he hath no part nor inheritance with you.
πλὴν τὰ ἐνόντα δότε ἐλεημοσύνην καὶ ἰδού πάντα καθαρὰ ὑμῖν ἐστιν
But rather give alms of such things as ye have; and, behold, all things are clean unto you.
וַיֵּֽצְאוּ הָעָם וַיָּבִיאוּ וַיַּֽעֲשׂוּ לָהֶם סֻכּוֹת אִישׁ עַל-גַּגּוֹ וּבְחַצְרֹתֵיהֶם וּבְחַצְרוֹת בֵּית הָֽאֱלֹהִים וּבִרְחוֹב שַׁעַר הַמַּיִם וּבִרְחוֹב שַׁעַר אֶפְרָֽיִם׃
So the people went forth, and brought them, and made themselves booths, every one upon the roof of his house, and in their courts, and in the courts of the house of God, and in the street of the water gate, and in the street of the gate of Ephraim.
μεμέρισται ἡ γυνὴ καὶ ἡ παρθένος ἡ ἄγαμος μεριμνᾷ τὰ τοῦ κυρίου ἵνα ᾖ ἁγία καὶ σώματι καὶ πνεύματι· ἡ δὲ γαμήσασα μεριμνᾷ τὰ τοῦ κόσμου πῶς ἀρέσει τῷ ἀνδρί
There is difference between also a wife and a virgin. The unmarried woman careth for the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit: but she that is married careth for the things of the world, how she may please her husband.
