If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; the for temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

My face will I turn also from them, and they shall pollute my secret place: for the robbers shall enter into it, and defile it.
וְאִישׁ אֲשֶׁר-יִטְמָא וְלֹא יִתְחַטָּא וְנִכְרְתָה הַנֶּפֶשׁ הַהִוא מִתּוֹךְ הַקָּהָל כִּי אֶת-מִקְדַּשׁ יְהוָה טִמֵּא מֵי נִדָּה לֹֽא-זֹרַק עָלָיו טָמֵא הֽוּא׃
But the man that shall be unclean, and shall not purify himself, that soul shall be cut off from among the congregation, because he hath defiled the sanctuary of the LORD: the water of separation hath not been sprinkled upon him; he is unclean.
לָכֵן חַי-אָנִי נְאֻם אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה אִם-לֹא יַעַן אֶת-מִקְדָּשִׁי טִמֵּאת בְּכָל-שִׁקּוּצַיִךְ וּבְכָל-תּוֹעֲבֹתָיִךְ וְגַם-אֲנִי אֶגְרַע וְלֹא-תָחוֹס עֵינִי וְגַם-אֲנִי לֹא אֶחְמֽוֹל׃
Wherefore, as I live, saith the Lord GOD; Surely, because thou hast defiled my sanctuary with all thy detestable things, and with all thine abominations, therefore will I also diminish thee; neither shall mine eye spare, neither will I have any pity.
עוֹד זֹאת עָשׂוּ לִי טִמְּאוּ אֶת-מִקְדָּשִׁי בַּיּוֹם הַהוּא וְאֶת-שַׁבְּתוֹתַי חִלֵּֽלוּ׃
Moreover this they have done unto me: they have defiled my sanctuary in the same day, and have profaned my sabbaths.
וַֽאֲנִי אֶתֵּן אֶת-פָּנַי בָּאִישׁ הַהוּא וְהִכְרַתִּי אֹתוֹ מִקֶּרֶב עַמּוֹ כִּי מִזַּרְעוֹ נָתַן לַמֹּלֶךְ לְמַעַן טַמֵּא אֶת-מִקְדָּשִׁי וּלְחַלֵּל אֶת-שֵׁם קָדְשִֽׁי׃
And I will set my face against that man, and will cut him off from among his people; because he hath given of his seed unto Molech, to defile my sanctuary, and to profane my holy name.
אֱֽלֹהִים בָּאוּ גוֹיִם׀ בְּֽנַחֲלָתֶךָ טִמְּאוּ אֶת-הֵיכַל קָדְשֶׁךָ שָׂמוּ אֶת-יְרוּשָׁלִַם לְעִיִּֽים׃
O God, the heathen are come into thine inheritance; thy holy temple have they defiled; they have laid Jerusalem on heaps.
וְהִזַּרְתֶּם אֶת-בְּנֵֽי-יִשְׂרָאֵל מִטֻּמְאָתָם וְלֹא יָמֻתוּ בְּטֻמְאָתָם בְּטַמְּאָם אֶת-מִשְׁכָּנִי אֲשֶׁר בְּתוֹכָֽם׃
Thus shall ye separate the children of Israel from their uncleanness; that they die not in their uncleanness, when they defile my tabernacle that is among them.
בֵּית קָדְשֵׁנוּ וְתִפְאַרְתֵּנוּ אֲשֶׁר הִֽלְלוּךָ אֲבֹתֵינוּ הָיָה לִשְׂרֵפַת אֵשׁ וְכָל-מַחֲמַדֵּינוּ הָיָה לְחָרְבָּֽה׃
Our holy and our beautiful house, where our fathers praised thee, is burned up with fire: and all our pleasant things are laid waste.
רֽוֹמְמוּ יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ וְהִֽשְׁתַּחֲווּ לְהַר קָדְשׁוֹ כִּֽי-קָדוֹשׁ יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵֽינוּ׃
Exalt the LORD our God, and worship at his holy hill; for the LORD our God is holy.
וַיִּירָא וַיֹּאמַר מַה-נּוֹרָא הַמָּקוֹם הַזֶּה אֵין זֶה כִּי אִם-בֵּית אֱלֹהִים וְזֶה שַׁעַר הַשָּׁמָֽיִם׃
And he was afraid, and said, How dreadful is this place! this is none other but the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven.
וַיֹּאמֶר אַל-תִּקְרַב הֲלֹם שַׁל-נְעָלֶיךָ מֵעַל רַגְלֶיךָ כִּי הַמָּקוֹם אֲשֶׁר אַתָּה עוֹמֵד עָלָיו אַדְמַת-קֹדֶשׁ הֽוּא׃
And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground.
הָרִימָה פְעָמֶיךָ לְמַשֻּׁאוֹת נֶצַח כָּל-הֵרַע אוֹיֵב בַּקֹּֽדֶשׁ׃
Lift up thy feet unto the perpetual desolations; even all that the enemy hath done wickedly in the sanctuary.
וְעוֹד בִּרְצוֹתִי בְּבֵית אֱלֹהַי יֶשׁ-לִי סְגֻלָּה זָהָב וָכָסֶף נָתַתִּי לְבֵית-אֱלֹהַי לְמַעְלָה מִכָּל-הֲכִינוֹתִי לְבֵית הַקֹּֽדֶשׁ׃
Moreover, because I have set my affection to the house of my God, I have of mine own proper good, of gold and silver, which I have given to the house of my God, over and above all that I have prepared for the holy house,
עֵֽדֹתֶיךָ׀ נֶאֶמְנוּ מְאֹד לְבֵיתְךָ נַאֲוָה-קֹדֶשׁ יְהוָה לְאֹרֶךְ יָמִֽים׃
Thy testimonies are very sure: holiness becometh thine house, O LORD, for ever.
נְבִיאֶיהָ פֹּֽחֲזִים אַנְשֵׁי בֹּֽגְדוֹת כֹּהֲנֶיהָ חִלְּלוּ-קֹדֶשׁ חָמְסוּ תּוֹרָֽה׃
Her prophets are light and treacherous persons: her priests have polluted the sanctuary, they have done violence to the law.
