Ἰδού τρίτον ἑτοίμως ἔχω ἐλθεῖν πρὸς ὑμᾶς καὶ οὐ καταναρκήσω· ὑμῶν οὐ γὰρ ζητῶ τὰ ὑμῶν· ἀλλ' ὑμᾶς οὐ γὰρ ὀφείλει τὰ τέκνα τοῖς γονεῦσιν θησαυρίζειν ἀλλ' οἱ γονεῖς τοῖς τέκνοις
Behold, the third time I am ready to come to you; and I will not be burdensome to you: for I seek not yours, but you: for the children ought not to lay up the for parents, but the parents for the children.
ἐγὼ δὲ οὐδενὶ ἐχρησάμην τούτων οὐκ ἔγραψα δὲ ταῦτα ἵνα οὕτως γένηται ἐν ἐμοί· καλὸν γάρ μοι μᾶλλον ἀποθανεῖν ἤ τὸ καύχημά μου ἵνα τις κενώσῃ
But I have used none of these things: neither have I written these things, that it should be done so unto me: for it were better for me to die, than that any man should make void. my glorying
Ἢ ἁμαρτίαν ἐποίησα ἐμαυτὸν ταπεινῶν ἵνα ὑμεῖς ὑψωθῆτε ὅτι δωρεὰν τὸ τοῦ θεοῦ εὐαγγέλιον εὐηγγελισάμην ὑμῖν
Have I committed an offence in abasing myself that ye might be exalted, because I have preached to you the gospel of God freely?
