But and if that servant say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; and shall begin to beat the menservants and maidens, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken;
כִּֽחֲשׁוּ בַּיהוָה וַיֹּאמְרוּ לוֹא-הוּא וְלֹא-תָבוֹא עָלֵינוּ רָעָה וְחֶרֶב וְרָעָב לוֹא נִרְאֶֽה׃
They have belied the LORD, and said, It is not he; neither shall evil come upon us; neither shall we see sword nor famine:
הוֹי מֹשְׁכֵי הֶֽעָוֹן בְּחַבְלֵי הַשָּׁוְא וְכַעֲבוֹת הָעֲגָלָה חַטָּאָֽה׃
Woe unto them that draw iniquity with cords of vanity, and sin as it were with a cart rope:
