He saw in a vision evidently about the ninth hour of the day an angel of God coming in to him, and saying unto him, Cornelius.

Now in the twenty and fourth day of this month the children of Israel were assembled with fasting, and with sackclothes, and earth upon them.
וְאֵלַי יֵאָֽסְפוּ כֹּל חָרֵד בְּדִבְרֵי אֱלֹהֵֽי-יִשְׂרָאֵל עַל מַעַל הַגּוֹלָה וַֽאֲנִי יֹשֵׁב מְשׁוֹמֵם עַד לְמִנְחַת הָעָֽרֶב׃
Then were assembled unto me every one that trembled at the words of the God of Israel, because of the transgression of those that had been carried away; and I sat astonied until the evening sacrifice.
ὁ δὲ λέγει αὐταῖς Μὴ ἐκθαμβεῖσθε· Ἰησοῦν ζητεῖτε τὸν Ναζαρηνὸν τὸν ἐσταυρωμένον· ἠγέρθη οὐκ ἔστιν ὧδε· ἴδε ὁ τόπος ὅπου ἔθηκαν αὐτόν
And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.
εἰσκαλεσάμενος οὖν αὐτοὺς ἐξένισεν Τῇ δὲ ἐπαύριον ὁ Πέτρος ἐξῆλθεν σὺν αὐτοῖς καί τινες τῶν ἀδελφῶν τῶν ἀπὸ τὴς Ἰόππης συνῆλθον αὐτῷ
Then called he in, them and lodged them. And on the morrow Peter went away with them, and certain brethren from Joppa accompanied him.

His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow:
καὶ ἐγένετο ἐν τῷ διαπορεῖσθαι αὐτὰς περὶ τούτου καὶ ἰδού δύο ἄνδρες ἐπέστησαν αὐταῖς ἐν ἐσθήσεσιν ἀστραπτούσαις
And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments:

Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour.
ὡς δὲ ἀπῆλθεν ὁ ἄγγελος ὁ λαλῶν τῷ Κορνηλίῳ φωνήσας δύο τῶν οἰκετῶν αὐτοῦ καὶ στρατιώτην εὐσεβῆ τῶν προσκαρτερούντων αὐτῷ
And when the angel which spake unto Cornelius was departed, he called two of his household servants, and a devout soldier of them that continually; waited on him
