מַה-תִּתְהַלֵּל בְּרָעָה הַגִּבּוֹר חֶסֶד אֵל כָּל-הַיּֽוֹם׃
Why boastest thou thyself in mischief, O mighty man? the goodness of God endureth continually.
וְהָיָה כָעָם כַּכֹּהֵן וּפָקַדְתִּי עָלָיו דְּרָכָיו וּמַעֲלָלָיו אָשִׁיב לֽוֹ׃
And there shall be, like people, like priest: and I will punish them for their ways, and reward them their doings.
עַל-הָרַע כַּפַּיִם לְהֵיטִיב הַשַּׂר שֹׁאֵל וְהַשֹּׁפֵט בַּשִּׁלּוּם וְהַגָּדוֹל דֹּבֵר הַוַּת נַפְשׁוֹ הוּא וַֽיְעַבְּתֽוּהָ׃
That they may do evil with both hands earnestly, the prince asketh, and the judge asketh for a reward; and the great man, he uttereth his mischievous desire: so they wrap it up.
הַכָּרַת פְּנֵיהֶם עָנְתָה בָּם וְחַטָּאתָם כִּסְדֹם הִגִּידוּ לֹא כִחֵדוּ אוֹי לְנַפְשָׁם כִּֽי-גָמְלוּ לָהֶם רָעָֽה׃
The shew of their countenance doth witness them; against and they declare their sin as Sodom, they hide it not. Woe unto their soul! for they have rewarded evil unto themselves.
