For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.
ἐν ᾧ καὶ ὑμεῖς συνοικοδομεῖσθε εἰς κατοικητήριον τοῦ θεοῦ ἐν πνεύματι
In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.
καὶ Μωσῆς μὲν πιστὸς ἐν ὅλῳ τῷ οἴκῳ αὐτοῦ ὡς θεράπων εἰς μαρτύριον τῶν λαληθησομένων
And Moses verily was faithful in all his house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken after;
ὅθεν ὤφειλεν κατὰ πάντα τοῖς ἀδελφοῖς ὁμοιωθῆναι ἵνα ἐλεήμων γένηται καὶ πιστὸς ἀρχιερεὺς τὰ πρὸς τὸν θεόν εἰς τὸ ἱλάσκεσθαι τὰς ἁμαρτίας τοῦ λαοῦ
Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful high and faithful priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.
ἐγώ σε ἐδόξασα ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς τὸ ἔργον ετελείωσα ὃ δέδωκάς μοι ἵνα ποιήσω·
I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.
Καὶ Χάριν ἔχω τῷ ἐνδυναμώσαντί με Χριστῷ Ἰησοῦ τῷ κυρίῳ ἡμῶν ὅτι πιστόν με ἡγήσατο θέμενος εἰς διακονίαν
And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry;
ὁ ἀφ' ἑαυτοῦ λαλῶν τὴν δόξαν τὴν ἰδίαν ζητεῖ· ὁ δὲ ζητῶν τὴν δόξαν τοῦ πέμψαντος αὐτόν οὗτος ἀληθής ἐστιν καὶ ἀδικία ἐν αὐτῷ οὐκ ἔστιν
He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.
רְאֵה׀ לִמַּדְתִּי אֶתְכֶם חֻקִּים וּמִשְׁפָּטִים כַּֽאֲשֶׁר צִוַּנִי יְהוָה אֱלֹהָי לַֽעֲשׂוֹת כֵּן בְּקֶרֶב הָאָרֶץ אֲשֶׁר אַתֶּם בָּאִים שָׁמָּה לְרִשְׁתָּֽהּ׃
Behold, I have taught you statutes and judgments, even as the LORD my God commanded me, that ye should do so in the land whither ye go to possess it.
καὶ ὁ πέμψας με μετ' ἐμοῦ ἐστιν· οὐκ ἀφῆκέν με μόνον ὁ πατὴρ ὅτι ἐγὼ τὰ ἀρεστὰ αὐτῷ ποιῶ πάντοτε
And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.
ἐὰν τὰς ἐντολάς μου τηρήσητε μενεῖτε ἐν τῇ ἀγάπῃ μου καθὼς ἐγὼ τὰς ἐντολὰς τοῦ πατρός μου τετήρηκα καὶ μένω αὐτοῦ ἐν τῇ ἀγάπῃ
If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
וַיֹּאמֶר שְׁמוּאֵל אֶל-הָעָם יְהוָה אֲשֶׁר עָשָׂה אֶת-מֹשֶׁה וְאֶֽת-אַהֲרֹן וַֽאֲשֶׁר הֶֽעֱלָה אֶת-אֲבֹֽתֵיכֶם מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרָֽיִם׃
And Samuel said unto the people, It is the LORD that advanced Moses and Aaron, and that brought up your fathers out of the land of Egypt.
