μὴ ἀποβάλητε οὖν τὴν παῤῥησίαν ὑμῶν ἥτις ἔχει μισθαποδοσίαν μεγάλην
Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.
ἐπιθυμοῦμεν δὲ ἕκαστον ὑμῶν τὴν αὐτὴν ἐνδείκνυσθαι σπουδὴν πρὸς τὴν πληροφορίαν τῆς ἐλπίδος ἄχρι τέλους
And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end:
καὶ αὐτοὶ ὡς λίθοι ζῶντες οἰκοδομεῖσθε οἶκος πνευματικὸς ἱεράτευμα ἅγιον ἀνενέγκαι πνευματικὰς θυσίας εὐπροσδέκτους τῷ θεῷ διὰ Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ
Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
ἢ οὐκ οἴδατε ὅτι τὸ σῶμα ὑμῶν ναὸς τοῦ ἐν ὑμῖν ἁγίου πνεύματός ἐστιν οὗ ἔχετε ἀπὸ θεοῦ καὶ οὐκ ἐστὲ ἑαυτῶν;
What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
κατέχωμεν τὴν ὁμολογίαν τῆς ἐλπίδος ἀκλινῆ πιστὸς γὰρ ὁ ἐπαγγειλάμενος
Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
μέτοχοι γὰρ γεγόναμεν τοῦ Χριστοῦ ἐάνπερ τὴν ἀρχὴν τῆς ὑποστάσεως μέχρι τέλους βεβαίαν κατάσχωμεν
For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;
σπουδάσωμεν οὖν εἰσελθεῖν εἰς ἐκείνην τὴν κατάπαυσιν ἵνα μὴ ἐν τῷ αὐτῷ τις ὑποδείγματι πέσῃ τῆς ἀπειθείας
Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.
Ἔχοντες οὖν ἀρχιερέα μέγαν διεληλυθότα τοὺς οὐρανούς Ἰησοῦν τὸν υἱὸν τοῦ θεοῦ κρατῶμεν τῆς ὁμολογίας
Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.
ἐὰν δὲ βραδύνω ἵνα εἰδῇς πῶς δεῖ ἐν οἴκῳ θεοῦ ἀναστρέφεσθαι ἥτις ἐστὶν ἐκκλησία θεοῦ ζῶντος στῦλος καὶ ἑδραίωμα τῆς ἀληθείας
But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.

If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;
καὶ ἔσεσθε μισούμενοι ὑπὸ πάντων διὰ τὸ ὄνομά μου· ὁ δὲ ὑπομείνας εἰς τέλος οὗτος σωθήσεται
And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.

Behold, I come quickly: hold fast that which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

Blessed be God and Father of our the Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten again us unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
ὁ δὲ δίκαιός ἐκ πίστεως ζήσεται καὶ ἐὰν ὑποστείληται οὐκ εὐδοκεῖ ἡ ψυχή μου ἐν αὐτῷ
Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.
ὁ δὲ θεὸς τῆς ἐλπίδος πληρώσαι ὑμᾶς πάσης χαρᾶς καὶ εἰρήνης ἐν τῷ πιστεύειν εἰς τὸ περισσεύειν ὑμᾶς ἐν τῇ ἐλπίδι ἐν δυνάμει πνεύματος ἁγίου
Now the of God hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.
ὁ δὲ ὑπομείνας εἰς τέλος οὗτος σωθήσεται
But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
