And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
מַה-תִּשְׁתּוֹחֲחִי׀ נַפְשִׁי וּֽמַה-תֶּהֱמִי עָלָי הוֹחִילִי לֵֽאלֹהִים כִּי-עוֹד אוֹדֶנּוּ יְשׁוּעֹת פָּנַי וֵֽאלֹהָֽי׃
Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.
οἴδαμεν δὲ ὅτι τοῖς ἀγαπῶσιν τὸν θεὸν πάντα συνεργεῖ εἰς ἀγαθόν τοῖς κατὰ πρόθεσιν κλητοῖς οὖσιν
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
εἰς δὲ τὴν δευτέραν ἅπαξ τοῦ ἐνιαυτοῦ μόνος ὁ ἀρχιερεύς οὐ χωρὶς αἵματος ὃ προσφέρει ὑπὲρ ἑαυτοῦ καὶ τῶν τοῦ λαοῦ ἀγνοημάτων
But into the second went the high priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself, and for the errors of the people:
וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה אֶל-מֹשֶׁה דַּבֵּר אֶל-אַֽהֲרֹן אָחִיךָ וְאַל-יָבֹא בְכָל-עֵת אֶל-הַקֹּדֶשׁ מִבֵּית לַפָּרֹכֶת אֶל-פְּנֵי הַכַּפֹּרֶת אֲשֶׁר עַל-הָֽאָרֹן וְלֹא יָמוּת כִּי בֶּֽעָנָן אֵֽרָאֶה עַל-הַכַּפֹּֽרֶת׃
And the LORD said unto Moses, Speak unto Aaron thy brother, that he come not at all times into the holy place within the vail before the mercy seat, which is upon the ark; that he die not: for I will appear in the cloud upon the mercy seat.
וְשָׁחַט אֶת-שְׂעִיר הַֽחַטָּאת אֲשֶׁר לָעָם וְהֵבִיא אֶת-דָּמוֹ אֶל-מִבֵּית לַפָּרֹכֶת וְעָשָׂה אֶת-דָּמוֹ כַּֽאֲשֶׁר עָשָׂה לְדַם הַפָּר וְהִזָּה אֹתוֹ עַל-הַכַּפֹּרֶת וְלִפְנֵי הַכַּפֹּֽרֶת׃
Then shall he kill the goat of the sin offering, that is for the people, and bring his blood within the vail, and do with that blood as he did with the blood of the bullock, and sprinkle it upon the mercy seat, and before the mercy seat:
μετὰ δὲ τὸ δεύτερον καταπέτασμα σκηνὴ ἡ λεγομένη Ἅγια Ἁγίων
And after the second veil, the tabernacle which is called the Holiest of all;
אַךְ לֵאלֹהִים דּוֹמִּי נַפְשִׁי כִּי-מִמֶּנּוּ תִּקְוָתִֽי׃
My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.
Καὶ ἰδού τὸ καταπέτασμα τοῦ ναοῦ ἐσχίσθη εἰς δύο ἀπὸ ἄνωθεν ἕως κάτω καὶ ἡ γῆ ἐσείσθη καὶ αἱ πέτραι ἐσχίσθησαν
And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;
Εἰ οὖν συνηγέρθητε τῷ Χριστῷ τὰ ἄνω ζητεῖτε οὗ ὁ Χριστός ἐστιν ἐν δεξιᾷ τοῦ θεοῦ καθήμενος·
If ye then be with risen Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
עַל-כֵּן יְכַבְּדוּךָ עַם-עָז קִרְיַת גּוֹיִם עָרִיצִים יִירָאֽוּךָ׃
Therefore shall the strong people glorify thee, the city of the terrible nations shall fear thee.
ὁ μέντοι στερεὸς θεμέλιος τοῦ θεοῦ ἕστηκεν ἔχων τὴν σφραγῖδα ταύτην· Ἔγνω κύριος τοὺς ὄντας αὐτοῦ καί Ἀποστήτω ἀπὸ ἀδικίας πᾶς ὁ ὀνομάζων τὸ ὄνομα Χριστοῦ.
Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth that are his. And, Let every one the nameth that name of Christ depart from iniquity. them

φοβούμενοί τε μήπως εἰς τραχεῖς τόπους ἐκπέσωσιν ἐκ πρύμνης ῥίψαντες ἀγκύρας τέσσαρας ηὔχοντο ἡμέραν γενέσθαι
Then fearing lest we should have fallen upon rocks, they cast four anchors out of the stern, and wished for the day.
הִנֵּה אֵל יְשׁוּעָתִי אֶבְטַח וְלֹא אֶפְחָד כִּֽי-עָזִּי וְזִמְרָת יָהּ יְהוָה וַֽיְהִי-לִי לִֽישׁוּעָֽה׃
Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD Jehovah is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.
διὰ τοῦτο ἐκ πίστεως ἵνα κατὰ χάριν εἰς τὸ εἶναι βεβαίαν τὴν ἐπαγγελίαν παντὶ τῷ σπέρματι οὐ τῷ ἐκ τοῦ νόμου μόνον ἀλλὰ καὶ τῷ ἐκ πίστεως Ἀβραάμ ὅς ἐστιν πατὴρ πάντων ἡμῶν
Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,
בָּרוּךְ הַגֶּבֶר אֲשֶׁר יִבְטַח בַּֽיהוָה וְהָיָה יְהוָה מִבְטַחֽוֹ׃
Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.
καὶ τὰς ἀγκύρας περιελόντες εἴων εἰς τὴν θάλασσαν ἅμα ἀνέντες τὰς ζευκτηρίας τῶν πηδαλίων καὶ ἐπάραντες τὸν ἀρτέμονα τῇ πνεούσῃ κατεῖχον εἰς τὸν αἰγιαλόν
And when they had taken up the anchors, they committed themselves unto the sea, and loosed the rudder bands, and hoised up the mainsail to the wind, and made toward shore.
לָכֵן כֹּה אָמַר אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה הִנְנִי יִסַּד בְּצִיּוֹן אָבֶן אֶבֶן בֹּחַן פִּנַּת יִקְרַת מוּסָד מוּסָּד הַֽמַּאֲמִין לֹא יָחִֽישׁ׃
Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I in Zion lay for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste.
אַשְׁרֵי שֶׁאֵל יַעֲקֹב בְּעֶזְרוֹ שִׂבְרוֹ עַל-יְהוָה אֱלֹהָֽיו׃
Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God:
