Hebrews 9:17

διαθήκη γὰρ ἐπὶ νεκροῖς βεβαία ἐπεὶ μήποτε ἰσχύει ὅτε ζῇ ὁ διαθέμενος
For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength all at while the testator liveth.
