And he slew it; and Moses took the blood, and put it upon the horns of the altar round about with his finger, and purified the altar, and poured the blood at the bottom of the altar, and sanctified it, to make reconciliation upon it.
וּפַר חַטָּאת תַּֽעֲשֶׂה לַיּוֹם עַל-הַכִּפֻּרִים וְחִטֵּאתָ עַל-הַמִּזְבֵּחַ בְּכַפֶּרְךָ עָלָיו וּמָֽשַׁחְתָּ אֹתוֹ לְקַדְּשֽׁוֹ׃
And thou shalt offer every day a bullock for a sin offering for atonement: and thou shalt cleanse the altar, when thou hast made an atonement for it, and thou shalt anoint it, to sanctify it.
וְלָֽקַחְתָּ מִדַּם הַפָּר וְנָֽתַתָּה עַל-קַרְנֹת הַמִּזְבֵּחַ בְּאֶצְבָּעֶךָ וְאֶת-כָּל-הַדָּם תִּשְׁפֹּךְ אֶל-יְסוֹד הַמִּזְבֵּֽחַ׃
And thou shalt take of the blood of the bullock, and put it upon the horns of the altar with thy finger, and pour all the blood beside the bottom of the altar.
וַיִּשְׁחַט אֶת-הַשּׁוֹר וְאֶת-הָאַיִל זֶבַח הַשְּׁלָמִים אֲשֶׁר לָעָם וַיַּמְצִאוּ בְּנֵי אַֽהֲרֹן אֶת-הַדָּם אֵלָיו וַיִּזְרְקֵהוּ עַל-הַמִּזְבֵּחַ סָבִֽיב׃
He slew also the bullock and the ram for a sacrifice of peace offerings, which was for the people: and Aaron's sons presented unto him the blood, which he sprinkled upon the altar round about,
וַיִּקְרַב אַֽהֲרֹן אֶל-הַמִּזְבֵּחַ וַיִּשְׁחַט אֶת-עֵגֶל הַֽחַטָּאת אֲשֶׁר-לֽוֹ׃
Aaron therefore went unto the altar, and slew the calf of the sin offering, which was for himself.
וְלָקַח מִדַּם הַפָּר וְהִזָּה בְאֶצְבָּעוֹ עַל-פְּנֵי הַכַּפֹּרֶת קֵדְמָה וְלִפְנֵי הַכַּפֹּרֶת יַזֶּה שֶֽׁבַע-פְּעָמִים מִן-הַדָּם בְּאֶצְבָּעֽוֹ׃
And he shall take of the blood of the bullock, and sprinkle it with his finger upon the mercy seat eastward; and before the mercy seat shall he sprinkle of the blood with his finger seven times.
וַיֹּאמֶר אֵלַי בֶּן-אָדָם כֹּה אָמַר אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה אֵלֶּה חֻקּוֹת הַמִּזְבֵּחַ בְּיוֹם הֵעָֽשׂוֹתוֹ לְהַעֲלוֹת עָלָיו עוֹלָה וְלִזְרֹק עָלָיו דָּֽם׃
And he said unto me, Son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD; These are the ordinances of the altar in the day when they shall make it, to offer burnt offerings thereon, and to sprinkle blood thereon.
וְשָֽׁחַטְתָּ אֶת-הָאַיִל וְלָֽקַחְתָּ מִדָּמוֹ וְנָֽתַתָּה עַל-תְּנוּךְ אֹזֶן אַֽהֲרֹן וְעַל-תְּנוּךְ אֹזֶן בָּנָיו הַיְמָנִית וְעַל-בֹּהֶן יָדָם הַיְמָנִית וְעַל-בֹּהֶן רַגְלָם הַיְמָנִית וְזָֽרַקְתָּ אֶת-הַדָּם עַל-הַמִּזְבֵּחַ סָבִֽיב׃
Then shalt thou kill the ram, and take of his blood, and put it upon the tip of the right ear of Aaron, and upon the tip of the right ear of his sons, and upon the thumb of their right hand, and upon the great toe of their right foot, and sprinkle the blood upon the altar round about.
וְאֵת כָּל-הַכֵּלִים אֲשֶׁר הִזְנִיחַ הַמֶּלֶךְ אָחָז בְּמַלְכוּתוֹ בְּמַֽעֲלוֹ הֵכַנּוּ וְהִקְדָּשְׁנוּ וְהִנָּם לִפְנֵי מִזְבַּח יְהוָֽה׃
Moreover all the vessels, which king Ahaz in his reign did cast away in his transgression, have we prepared and sanctified, and, behold, they are before the altar of the LORD.
