He hath remembered his mercy and his truth toward the house of Israel: all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.
תִּתֵּן אֱמֶת לְיַֽעֲקֹב חֶסֶד לְאַבְרָהָם אֲשֶׁר-נִשְׁבַּעְתָּ לַאֲבֹתֵינוּ מִימֵי קֶֽדֶם׃
Thou wilt perform the truth to Jacob, and the mercy to Abraham, which thou hast sworn unto our fathers from the days of old.
זְכָר-אֵלֶּה יַעֲקֹב וְיִשְׂרָאֵל כִּי עַבְדִּי-אָתָּה יְצַרְתִּיךָ עֶֽבֶד-לִי אַתָּה יִשְׂרָאֵל לֹא תִנָּשֵֽׁנִי׃
Remember these, O Jacob and Israel; for thou art my servant: I have formed thee; thou art my servant: O Israel, thou shalt not be forgotten of me.
הֲבֵן יַקִּיר לִי אֶפְרַיִם אִם יֶלֶד שַׁעֲשֻׁעִים כִּֽי-מִדֵּי דַבְּרִי בּוֹ זָכֹר אֶזְכְּרֶנּוּ עוֹד עַל-כֵּן הָמוּ מֵעַי לוֹ רַחֵם אֲֽרַחֲמֶנּוּ נְאֻם-יְהוָֽה׃
Is Ephraim my dear son? is he a pleasant child? for since I spake against him, I do earnestly remember him still: therefore my bowels are troubled for him; I will surely have mercy upon him, saith the LORD.
שִׁמְעוּ אֵלַי בֵּית יַעֲקֹב וְכָל-שְׁאֵרִית בֵּית יִשְׂרָאֵל הַֽעֲמֻסִים מִנִּי-בֶטֶן הַנְּשֻׂאִים מִנִּי-רָֽחַם׃
Hearken unto me, O house of Jacob, and all the remnant of the house of Israel, which are borne by me from the belly, which are carried from the womb:
וַתֹּאמֶר צִיּוֹן עֲזָבַנִי יְהוָה וַאדֹנָי שְׁכֵחָֽנִי׃
But Zion said, The LORD hath forsaken me, and my Lord hath forgotten me.
רָנִּי בַּת-צִיּוֹן הָרִיעוּ יִשְׂרָאֵל שִׂמְחִי וְעָלְזִי בְּכָל-לֵב בַּת יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃
Sing, O daughter of Zion; shout, O Israel; be glad and rejoice with all the heart, O daughter of Jerusalem.
חַֽסְדֵי יְהוָה׀ אַזְכִּיר תְּהִלֹּת יְהוָה כְּעַל כֹּל אֲשֶׁר-גְּמָלָנוּ יְהוָה וְרַב-טוּב לְבֵית יִשְׂרָאֵל אֲשֶׁר-גְּמָלָם כְּֽרַחֲמָיו וּכְרֹב חֲסָדָֽיו׃
I will mention the lovingkindnesses of the LORD, and the praises of the LORD, according to all that the LORD hath bestowed on us, and the great goodness toward the house of Israel, which he hath bestowed on them according to his mercies, and according to the multitude of his lovingkindnesses.
καθὼς ἐλάλησεν διὰ στόματος τῶν ἁγίων τῶν ἀπ' αἰῶνος προφητῶν αὐτοῦ
As he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets, which have been since the world began:
הֲלוֹא רָאִיתָ מָֽה-הָעָם הַזֶּה דִּבְּרוּ לֵאמֹר שְׁתֵּי הַמִּשְׁפָּחוֹת אֲשֶׁר בָּחַר יְהוָה בָּהֶם וַיִּמְאָסֵם וְאֶת-עַמִּי יִנְאָצוּן מִֽהְיוֹת עוֹד גּוֹי לִפְנֵיהֶֽם׃
Considerest thou not what this people have spoken, saying, The two families which the LORD hath chosen, he hath even cast them off? thus they have despised my people, that they should be no more a nation before them.
מֵרָחוֹק יְהוָה נִרְאָה לִי וְאַהֲבַת עוֹלָם אֲהַבְתִּיךְ עַל-כֵּן מְשַׁכְתִּיךְ חָֽסֶד׃
The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.
גִּילִי מְאֹד בַּת-צִיּוֹן הָרִיעִי בַּת יְרוּשָׁלִַם הִנֵּה מַלְכֵּךְ יָבוֹא לָךְ צַדִּיק וְנוֹשָׁע הוּא עָנִי וְרֹכֵב עַל-חֲמוֹר וְעַל-עַיִר בֶּן-אֲתֹנֽוֹת׃
Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.
כִּֽי-כְאִשָּׁה עֲזוּבָה וַעֲצוּבַת רוּחַ קְרָאָךְ יְהוָה וְאֵשֶׁת נְעוּרִים כִּי תִמָּאֵס אָמַר אֱלֹהָֽיִךְ׃
For the LORD hath called thee as a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, and a wife of youth, when thou wast refused, saith thy God.
