Now the hand of the LORD was upon me in the evening, afore he that was escaped came; and had opened my mouth, until he came to me in the morning; and my mouth was opened, and I was no more dumb.
וַיִּשְׁלַח יְהוָה אֶת-יָדוֹ וַיַּגַּע עַל-פִּי וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה אֵלַי הִנֵּה נָתַתִּי דְבָרַי בְּפִֽיךָ׃
Then the LORD put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth.
וְלִקְצָת יֽוֹמַיָּא אֲנָה נְבוּכַדְנֶצַּר עַיְנַי׀ לִשְׁמַיָּא נִטְלֵת וּמַנְדְּעִי עֲלַי יְתוּב וּלְעִלָּיָא בָּרְכֵת וּלְחַי עָלְמָא שַׁבְּחֵת וְהַדְּרֵת דִּי שָׁלְטָנֵהּ שָׁלְטָן עָלַם וּמַלְכוּתֵהּ עִם-דָּר וְדָֽר׃
And at the end of the days I Nebuchadnezzar lifted up mine eyes unto heaven, and mine understanding returned unto me, and I blessed the most High, and I praised and honoured him that liveth for ever, whose dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom is from generation to generation:
אֲדֹנָי שְׂפָתַי תִּפְתָּח וּפִי יַגִּיד תְּהִלָּתֶֽךָ׃
O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise.
καὶ φέρουσιν αὐτῷ κωφὸν μογιλάλον καὶ παρακαλοῦσιν αὐτὸν ἵνα ἐπιθῇ αὐτῷ τὴν χεῖρα
And they bring unto him one that was deaf, and had an impediment in his speech; and they beseech him to put upon his hand him.
יַסֹּר יִסְּרַנִּי יָּהּ וְלַמָּוֶת לֹא נְתָנָֽנִי׃
The LORD hath chastened me sore: but he hath not given me over unto death.
καὶ ἐκβληθέντος τοῦ δαιμονίου ἐλάλησεν ὁ κωφός καὶ ἐθαύμασαν οἱ ὄχλοι λέγοντες ὅτι Οὐδέποτε ἐφάνη οὕτως ἐν τῷ Ἰσραήλ
And when the was out, devil cast the dumb spake: and the multitudes marvelled, saying, It was never so seen in Israel.
וּֽבְדַבְּרִי אֽוֹתְךָ אֶפְתַּח אֶת-פִּיךָ וְאָמַרְתָּ אֲלֵיהֶם כֹּה אָמַר אֲדֹנָי יְהוִֹה הַשֹּׁמֵעַ׀ יִשְׁמָע וְהֶחָדֵל׀ יֶחְדָּל כִּי בֵּית מְרִי הֵֽמָּה׃
But when I speak with thee, I will open thy mouth, and thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; He that heareth, let him hear; and he that forbeareth, let him forbear: for they are a rebellious house.
יְֽהוָה בִּרְצוֹנְךָ הֶעֱמַדְתָּה לְֽהַרְרִי עֹז הִסְתַּרְתָּ פָנֶיךָ הָיִיתִי נִבְהָֽל׃
LORD, by thy favour thou hast made my mountain to stand strong: thou didst hide thy face, and I was troubled.
בַּיּוֹם הַהוּא אַצְמִיחַ קֶרֶן לְבֵית יִשְׂרָאֵל וּלְךָ אֶתֵּן פִּתְחֽוֹן-פֶּה בְּתוֹכָם וְיָדְעוּ כִּי-אֲנִי יְהוָֽה׃
In that day will I cause the horn of the house of Israel to bud forth, and I will give thee the opening of the mouth in the midst of them; and they shall know that I am the LORD.
וְאָֽמַרְתָּ בַּיּוֹם הַהוּא אוֹדְךָ יְהוָה כִּי אָנַפְתָּ בִּי יָשֹׁב אַפְּךָ וּֽתְנַחֲמֵֽנִי׃
And in that day thou shalt say, O LORD, I will praise thee: though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me.
