וְאַרְבָּעָה אֲנָשִׁים הָיוּ מְצֹֽרָעִים פֶּתַח הַשָּׁעַר וַיֹּֽאמְרוּ אִישׁ אֶל-רֵעֵהוּ מָה אֲנַחְנוּ יֹֽשְׁבִים פֹּה עַד-מָֽתְנוּ׃
And there were four leprous men at the entering in of the gate: and they said one to another, Why sit we here until we die?
καὶ ὁ τελώνης μακρόθεν ἑστὼς οὐκ ἤθελεν οὐδὲ τοὺς ὀφθαλμοὺς εἰς τὸν οὐρανόν ἐπᾶραι ἀλλ' ἔτυπτεν εἰς τὸ στῆθος αὐτοῦ λέγων Ὁ θεός ἱλάσθητί μοι τῷ ἁμαρτωλῷ
And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.
וַיִּפֶן אֵלָיו עֲזַרְיָהוּ כֹהֵן הָרֹאשׁ וְכָל-הַכֹּֽהֲנִים וְהִנֵּה-הוּא מְצֹרָע בְּמִצְחוֹ וַיַּבְהִלוּהוּ מִשָּׁם וְגַם-הוּא נִדְחַף לָצֵאת כִּי נִגְּעוֹ יְהוָֽה׃
And Azariah the chief priest, and all the priests, looked upon him, and, behold, he was leprous in his forehead, and they thrust him out from thence; yea, himself hasted also to go out, because the LORD had smitten him.

And the LORD said unto Moses, If her father had but spit in her face, should she not be ashamed seven days? let her be shut out from the camp seven days, and after that let her be received in again.
צַו אֶת-בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וִֽישַׁלְּחוּ מִן-הַֽמַּחֲנֶה כָּל-צָרוּעַ וְכָל-זָב וְכֹל טָמֵא לָנָֽפֶשׁ׃
