Where is then the blessedness ye spake of? for I bear record, you that, if it had been possible, ye would have plucked out your own eyes, and have given them to me.
וַֽיְמַהֲרוּ וַיִּקְחוּ אִישׁ בִּגְדוֹ וַיָּשִׂימוּ תַחְתָּיו אֶל-גֶּרֶם הַֽמַּעֲלוֹת וַֽיִּתְקְעוּ בַּשּׁוֹפָר וַיֹּֽאמְרוּ מָלַךְ יֵהֽוּא׃
Then they hasted, and took every man his garment, and put it under him on the top of the stairs, and blew with trumpets, saying, Jehu is king.
