And Joseph saw his brethren, and he knew them, but made himself strange unto them, and spake roughly unto them; and he said unto them, Whence come ye? And they said, From the land of Canaan to buy food.
וַיֹּאמֶר שַׁלְּחֵנִי כִּי עָלָה הַשָּׁחַר וַיֹּאמֶר לֹא אֲשַֽׁלֵּחֲךָ כִּי אִם-בֵּֽרַכְתָּֽנִי׃
And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.
וַיֹּאמֶר הִנֶּה נָּא-אֲדֹנַי סוּרוּ נָא אֶל-בֵּית עַבְדְּכֶם וְלִינוּ וְרַֽחֲצוּ רַגְלֵיכֶם וְהִשְׁכַּמְתֶּם וַֽהֲלַכְתֶּם לְדַרְכְּכֶם וַיֹּֽאמְרוּ לֹּא כִּי בָֽרְחוֹב נָלִֽין׃
And he said, Behold now, my lords, turn in, I pray you, into your servant's house, and tarry all night, and wash your feet, and ye shall rise up early, and go on your ways. And they said, Nay; but we will abide all night. in the street
