And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes.
Ὥστε ἀδελφοί μου ἀγαπητοί ἑδραῖοι γίνεσθε ἀμετακίνητοι περισσεύοντες ἐν τῷ ἔργῳ τοῦ κυρίου πάντοτε εἰδότες ὅτι ὁ κόπος ὑμῶν οὐκ ἔστιν κενὸς ἐν κυρίῳ
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
τὸ δὲ καλὸν ποιοῦντες μὴ ἐκκακῶμεν· καιρῷ γὰρ ἰδίῳ θερίσομεν μὴ ἐκλυόμενοι
And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
וַיֹּאמֶר לְכִי שַֽׁאֲלִי-לָךְ כֵּלִים מִן-הַחוּץ מֵאֵת כָּל-(שכנכי) שְׁכֵנָיִךְ כֵּלִים רֵקִים אַל-תַּמְעִֽיטִי׃
Then he said, Go, borrow thee vessels abroad of all thy neighbours, even empty vessels; borrow not a few.
בַּבֹּקֶר זְרַע אֶת-זַרְעֶךָ וְלָעֶרֶב אַל-תַּנַּח יָדֶךָ כִּי אֵֽינְךָ יוֹדֵע אֵי זֶה יִכְשָׁר הֲזֶה אוֹ-זֶה וְאִם-שְׁנֵיהֶם כְּאֶחָד טוֹבִֽים׃
In the morning sow thy seed, and in the evening withhold not thine hand: for thou knowest not whether shall prosper, either this or that, or whether they both shall be alike good.
πολλοὶ δὲ τῶν ἀκουσάντων τὸν λόγον ἐπίστευσαν καὶ ἐγενήθη ὁ ἀριθμὸς τῶν ἀνδρῶν ὡσεὶ χιλιάδες πέντε
Howbeit many of them which heard the word believed; and the number of the men was about five thousand.
οἱ μὲν οὖν ἀσμένως ἀποδεξάμενοι τὸν λόγον αὐτοῦ ἐβαπτίσθησαν καὶ προσετέθησαν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ ψυχαὶ ὡσεὶ τρισχίλιαι
Then they that gladly were received his word baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.
