ταῦτα εἰπὼν ἔπτυσεν χαμαὶ καὶ ἐποίησεν πηλὸν ἐκ τοῦ πτύσματος καὶ ἐπέχρισεν τὸν πηλὸν ἐπὶ τοὺς ὀφθαλμοὺς τοῦ τυφλοῦ
When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay,
καὶ κατεγέλων αὐτοῦ ὁ δὲ ἐκβαλὼν ἅπαντας παραλαμβάνει τὸν πατέρα τοῦ παιδίου καὶ τὴν μητέρα καὶ τοὺς μετ' αὐτοῦ καὶ εἰσπορεύεται ὅπου ἦν τὸ παιδίον ἀνακείμενον·
And they laughed to scorn. him But when he had them out, put all he taketh the father and the mother of the damsel, and them that were with him, and entereth in where the damsel was lying.

And he said unto her, Give me thy son. And he took him out of her bosom, and carried him up into a loft, where he abode, and laid him upon his own bed.
וּבָאת וְסָגַרְתְּ הַדֶּלֶת בַּֽעֲדֵךְ וּבְעַד-בָּנַיִךְ וְיָצַקְתְּ עַל כָּל-הַכֵּלִים הָאֵלֶּה וְהַמָּלֵא תַּסִּֽיעִי׃
And when thou art come in, thou shalt shut the door upon thee and upon thy sons, and shalt pour out into all those vessels, and thou shalt set aside that which is full.
וַיָּבֹא וַיִּסְגֹּר הַדֶּלֶת בְּעַד שְׁנֵיהֶם וַיִּתְפַּלֵּל אֶל-יְהוָֽה׃
