And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted unto heaven, shalt be brought down to hell: for if the mighty works, which have been done in thee, had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day.
ὅτε οὖν εἶδεν ὁ ὄχλος ὅτι Ἰησοῦς οὐκ ἔστιν ἐκεῖ οὐδὲ οἱ μαθηταὶ αὐτοῦ ἐνέβησαν καὶ αὐτοὶ εἰς τὰ πλοῖα καὶ ἦλθον εἰς Καπερναούμ ζητοῦντες τὸν Ἰησοῦν
When the people therefore saw that Jesus was not there, neither his disciples, they also took shipping, and came to Capernaum, seeking for Jesus.
Ταῦτα εἶπεν ἐν συναγωγῇ διδάσκων ἐν Καπερναούμ
These things said he in the synagogue, as he taught in Capernaum.
Μετὰ τοῦτο κατέβη εἰς Καπερναούμ αὐτὸς καὶ ἡ μήτηρ αὐτοῦ καὶ οἱ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ οἱ μαθηταὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐκεῖ ἔμειναν οὐ πολλὰς ἡμέρας
After this he went down to Capernaum, he, and his mother, and his brethren, and his disciples: and they continued there not many days.
Ἐλθόντων δὲ αὐτῶν εἰς Καπερναούμ προσῆλθον οἱ τὰ δίδραχμα λαμβάνοντες τῷ Πέτρῳ καὶ εἶπον Ὁ διδάσκαλος ὑμῶν οὐ τελεῖ τὰ δίδραχμα
And when they were come to Capernaum, they that received tribute money came to Peter, and said, Doth not your master pay tribute?
וַיַּעַל הַגּוֹרָל הַשְּׁלִישִׁי לִבְנֵי זְבוּלֻן לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָם וַיְהִי גְּבוּל נַֽחֲלָתָם עַד-שָׂרִֽיד׃
And the third lot came up for the children of Zebulun according to their families: and the border of their inheritance was unto Sarid:
לִבְנֵי נַפְתָּלִי יָצָא הַגּוֹרָל הַשִּׁשִּׁי לִבְנֵי נַפְתָּלִי לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָֽם׃
The sixth lot came out to the children of Naphtali, even for the children of Naphtali according to their families.
αὐτὸς δὲ διελθὼν διὰ μέσου αὐτῶν ἐπορεύετο
But he passing through the midst of them went his way,
καὶ ἐμβάντες εἰς τὸ πλοῖον ἤρχοντο πέραν τῆς θαλάσσης εἰς Καπερναούμ καὶ σκοτία ἤδη ἐγεγόνει καὶ οὐκ ἐληλύθει πρὸς αὐτοὺς ὁ Ἰησοῦς
And entered into a ship, and went over the sea toward Capernaum. And it was now dark, and Jesus was not come to them.
καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτούς Πάντως ἐρεῖτέ μοι τὴν παραβολὴν ταύτην· Ἰατρέ θεράπευσον σεαυτόν· ὅσα ἠκούσαμεν γενόμενα ἐν τῇ Καπερναούμ ποίησον καὶ ὧδε ἐν τῇ πατρίδι σου
And he said unto them, Ye will surely say unto me this proverb, Physician, heal thyself: whatsoever we have heard done in Capernaum, do also here in thy country.
