Deuteronomy 23

לֹֽא-תְתַעֵב אֲדֹמִי כִּי אָחִיךָ הוּא לֹֽא-תְתַעֵב מִצְרִי כִּי-גֵר הָיִיתָ בְאַרְצֽוֹ׃

Thou shalt not abhor an Edomite; for he is thy brother: thou shalt not abhor an Egyptian; because thou wast a stranger in his land.

1 Samuel 21

וְשָׁם אִישׁ מֵֽעַבְדֵי שָׁאוּל בַּיּוֹם הַהוּא נֶעְצָר לִפְנֵי יְהוָה וּשְׁמוֹ דֹּאֵג הָֽאֲדֹמִי אַבִּיר הָֽרֹעִים אֲשֶׁר לְשָׁאֽוּל׃

Now a certain man of the servants of Saul was there that day, detained before the LORD; and his name was Doeg, an Edomite, the chiefest of the herdmen that belonged to Saul.

1 Samuel 22

וַיַּעַן דֹּאֵג הָֽאֲדֹמִי וְהוּא נִצָּב עַל-עַבְדֵֽי-שָׁאוּל וַיֹּאמַר רָאִיתִי אֶת-בֶּן-יִשַׁי בָּא נֹבֶה אֶל-אֲחִימֶלֶךְ בֶּן-אֲחִטֽוּב׃

Then answered Doeg the Edomite, which was set over the servants of Saul, and said, I saw the son of Jesse coming to Nob, to Ahimelech the son of Ahitub.

וַיֹּאמֶר הַמֶּלֶךְ ‫(לדויג)‬ לְדוֹאֵג סֹב אַתָּה וּפְגַע בַּכֹּֽהֲנִים וַיִּסֹּב ‫(דויג)‬ דּוֹאֵג הָֽאֲדֹמִי וַיִּפְגַּע-הוּא בַּכֹּהֲנִים וַיָּמֶת׀ בַּיּוֹם הַהוּא שְׁמֹנִים וַֽחֲמִשָּׁה אִישׁ נֹשֵׂא אֵפוֹד בָּֽד׃

And the king said to Doeg, Turn thou, and fall upon the priests. And Doeg the Edomite turned, and he fell upon the priests, and slew on that day fourscore and five persons that did wear a linen ephod.

וַיֹּאמֶר דָּוִד לְאֶבְיָתָר יָדַעְתִּי בַּיּוֹם הַהוּא כִּֽי-שָׁם ‫(דויג)‬ דּוֹאֵג הָֽאֲדֹמִי כִּֽי-הַגֵּד יַגִּיד לְשָׁאוּל אָֽנֹכִי סַבֹּתִי בְּכָל-נֶפֶשׁ בֵּית אָבִֽיךָ׃

And David said unto Abiathar, I knew it that day, when Doeg the Edomite was there, that he would surely tell Saul: I have occasioned the death of all the persons of thy father's house.

1 Kings 11

וְהַמֶּלֶךְ שְׁלֹמֹה אָהַב נָשִׁים נָכְרִיּוֹת רַבּוֹת וְאֶת-בַּת-פַּרְעֹה מֽוֹאֲבִיּוֹת עַמֳּנִיּוֹת אֲדֹמִיֹּת צֵֽדְנִיֹּת חִתִּיֹּֽת׃

But king Solomon loved many strange women, together with the daughter of Pharaoh, women of the Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Zidonians, and Hittites;

וַיָּקֶם יְהוָה שָׂטָן לִשְׁלֹמֹה אֵת הֲדַד הָֽאֲדֹמִי מִזֶּרַע הַמֶּלֶךְ הוּא בֶּֽאֱדֽוֹם׃

And the LORD stirred up an adversary unto Solomon, Hadad the Edomite: he was of the king's seed in Edom.

וַיִּבְרַח אֲדַד הוּא וַֽאֲנָשִׁים אֲדֹֽמִיִּים מֵֽעַבְדֵי אָבִיו אִתּוֹ לָבוֹא מִצְרָיִם וַֽהֲדַד נַעַר קָטָֽן׃

That Hadad fled, he and certain Edomites of his father's servants with him, to go into Egypt; Hadad being yet a little child.

2 Chronicles 25

וַיְהִי אַֽחֲרֵי בוֹא אֲמַצְיָהוּ מֵֽהַכּוֹת אֶת-אֲדוֹמִים וַיָּבֵא אֶת-אֱלֹהֵי בְּנֵי שֵׂעִיר וַיַּֽעֲמִידֵם לוֹ לֵֽאלֹהִים וְלִפְנֵיהֶם יִֽשְׁתַּחֲוֶה וְלָהֶם יְקַטֵּֽר׃

Now it came to pass, after that Amaziah was come from the slaughter of the Edomites, that he brought the gods of the children of Seir, and set them up to be his gods, and bowed down himself before them, and burned incense unto them.

2 Chronicles 28

וְעוֹד אֲדוֹמִים בָּאוּ וַיַּכּוּ בִֽיהוּדָה וַיִּשְׁבּוּ-שֶֽׁבִי׃

For again the Edomites had come and smitten Judah, and carried away captives.

Psalms 52

לַמְנַצֵּחַ מַשְׂכִּיל לְדָוִֽד׃ בְּבוֹא׀ דּוֹאֵג הָאֲדֹמִי וַיַּגֵּד לְשָׁאוּל וַיֹּאמֶר לוֹ בָּא דָוִד אֶל-בֵּית אֲחִימֶֽלֶךְ׃

To the chief Musician, Maschil, A Psalm of David, when Doeg the Edomite came and told Saul, and said unto him, David is come to the house of Ahimelech.
