וַתֵּלֶד עָדָה אֶת-יָבָל הוּא הָיָה אֲבִי יֹשֵׁב אֹהֶל וּמִקְנֶֽה׃
And Adah bare Jabal: he was the father of such as dwell in tents, and of such as have cattle.
וַיֵּשְׁתְּ מִן-הַיַּיִן וַיִּשְׁכָּר וַיִּתְגַּל בְּתוֹךְ אָֽהֳלֹֽה׃
And he drank of the wine, and was drunken; and he was uncovered within his tent.
יַפְתְּ אֱלֹהִים לְיֶפֶת וְיִשְׁכֹּן בְּאָֽהֳלֵי-שֵׁם וִיהִי כְנַעַן עֶבֶד לָֽמוֹ׃
God shall enlarge Japheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.
וַיַּעְתֵּק מִשָּׁם הָהָרָה מִקֶּדֶם לְבֵֽית-אֵל וַיֵּט אָֽהֳלֹה בֵּֽית-אֵל מִיָּם וְהָעַי מִקֶּדֶם וַיִּֽבֶן-שָׁם מִזְבֵּחַ לַֽיהוָה וַיִּקְרָא בְּשֵׁם יְהוָֽה׃
And he removed from thence unto a mountain on the east of Beth-el, and pitched his tent, having Beth-el on the west, and Hai on the east: and there he builded an altar unto the LORD, and called upon the name of the LORD.
וַיֵּלֶךְ לְמַסָּעָיו מִנֶּגֶב וְעַד-בֵּֽית-אֵל עַד-הַמָּקוֹם אֲשֶׁר-הָיָה שָׁם (אהלה) אָֽהֳלוֹ בַּתְּחִלָּה בֵּין בֵּֽית-אֵל וּבֵין הָעָֽי׃
And he went on his journeys from the south even to Beth-el, unto the place where his tent had been at the beginning, between Beth-el and Hai;
וְגַם-לְלוֹט הַֽהֹלֵךְ אֶת-אַבְרָם הָיָה צֹאן-וּבָקָר וְאֹֽהָלִֽים׃
And Lot also, which went with Abram, had flocks, and herds, and tents.
וַיֵּרָא אֵלָיו יְהוָה בְּאֵֽלֹנֵי מַמְרֵא וְהוּא יֹשֵׁב פֶּֽתַח-הָאֹהֶל כְּחֹם הַיּֽוֹם׃
And the LORD appeared unto him in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day;
וַיִּשָּׂא עֵינָיו וַיַּרְא וְהִנֵּה שְׁלֹשָׁה אֲנָשִׁים נִצָּבִים עָלָיו וַיַּרְא וַיָּרָץ לִקְרָאתָם מִפֶּתַח הָאֹהֶל וַיִּשְׁתַּחוּ אָֽרְצָה׃
And he lift up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three men stood by him: and when he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground,
וַיְמַהֵר אַבְרָהָם הָאֹהֱלָה אֶל-שָׂרָה וַיֹּאמֶר מַֽהֲרִי שְׁלֹשׁ סְאִים קֶמַח סֹלֶת לוּשִׁי וַֽעֲשִׂי עֻגֽוֹת׃
And Abraham hastened into the tent unto Sarah, and said, Make ready quickly three measures of fine meal, knead it, and make cakes upon the hearth.
וַיֹּֽאמְרוּ אֵׄלָׄיׄוׄ אַיֵּה שָׂרָה אִשְׁתֶּךָ וַיֹּאמֶר הִנֵּה בָאֹֽהֶל׃
And they said unto him, Where is Sarah thy wife? And he said, Behold, in the tent.
וַיֹּאמֶר שׁוֹב אָשׁוּב אֵלֶיךָ כָּעֵת חַיָּה וְהִנֵּה-בֵן לְשָׂרָה אִשְׁתֶּךָ וְשָׂרָה שֹׁמַעַת פֶּתַח הָאֹהֶל וְהוּא אַֽחֲרָֽיו׃
And he said, I will certainly return unto thee according to the time of life; and, lo, Sarah thy wife shall have a son. And Sarah heard it in the tent door, which was behind him.
וַיְבִאֶהָ יִצְחָק הָאֹהֱלָה שָׂרָה אִמּוֹ וַיִּקַּח אֶת-רִבְקָה וַתְּהִי-לוֹ לְאִשָּׁה וַיֶּֽאֱהָבֶהָ וַיִּנָּחֵם יִצְחָק אַֽחֲרֵי אִמּֽוֹ׃
And Isaac brought her into his mother Sarah's tent, and took Rebekah, and she became his wife; and he loved her: and Isaac was comforted after his mother's death.
וַֽיִּגְדְּלוּ הַנְּעָרִים וַיְהִי עֵשָׂו אִישׁ יֹדֵעַ צַיִד אִישׁ שָׂדֶה וְיַֽעֲקֹב אִישׁ תָּם יֹשֵׁב אֹֽהָלִֽים׃
And the boys grew: and Esau was a cunning hunter, a man of the field; and Jacob was a plain man, dwelling in tents.
וַיִּבֶן שָׁם מִזְבֵּחַ וַיִּקְרָא בְּשֵׁם יְהוָה וַיֶּט-שָׁם אָֽהֳלוֹ וַיִּכְרוּ-שָׁם עַבְדֵי-יִצְחָק בְּאֵֽר׃
And he builded an altar there, and called upon the name of the LORD, and pitched his tent there: and there Isaac's servants digged a well.
וַיַּשֵּׂג לָבָן אֶֽת-יַעֲקֹב וְיַֽעֲקֹב תָּקַע אֶֽת-אָהֳלוֹ בָּהָר וְלָבָן תָּקַע אֶת-אֶחָיו בְּהַר הַגִּלְעָֽד׃
Then Laban overtook Jacob. Now Jacob had pitched his tent in the mount: and Laban with his brethren pitched in the mount of Gilead.
וַיָּבֹא לָבָן בְּאֹהֶל יַֽעֲקֹב׀ וּבְאֹהֶל לֵאָה וּבְאֹהֶל שְׁתֵּי הָֽאֲמָהֹת וְלֹא מָצָא וַיֵּצֵא מֵאֹהֶל לֵאָה וַיָּבֹא בְּאֹהֶל רָחֵֽל׃
And Laban went into Jacob's tent, and into Leah's tent, and into the two maidservants' tents; but he found them not. Then went he out of Leah's tent, and entered into Rachel's tent.
וְרָחֵל לָֽקְחָה אֶת-הַתְּרָפִים וַתְּשִׂמֵם בְּכַר הַגָּמָל וַתֵּשֶׁב עֲלֵיהֶם וַיְמַשֵּׁשׁ לָבָן אֶת-כָּל-הָאֹהֶל וְלֹא מָצָֽא׃
Now Rachel had taken the images, and put them in the camel's furniture, and sat upon them. And Laban searched all the tent, but found them not.
וַיִּקֶן אֶת-חֶלְקַת הַשָּׂדֶה אֲשֶׁר נָֽטָה-שָׁם אָֽהֳלוֹ מִיַּד בְּנֵֽי-חֲמוֹר אֲבִי שְׁכֶם בְּמֵאָה קְשִׂיטָֽה׃
And he bought a parcel of a field, where he had spread his tent, at the hand of the children of Hamor, Shechem's father, for an hundred pieces of money.
וַיִּסַּע יִשְׂרָאֵל וַיֵּט אָֽהֳלֹה מֵהָלְאָה לְמִגְדַּל-עֵֽדֶר׃
And Israel journeyed, and spread his tent beyond the tower of Edar.
תְּבִאֵמוֹ וְתִטָּעֵמוֹ בְּהַר נַחֲלָֽתְךָ מָכוֹן לְשִׁבְתְּךָ פָּעַלְתָּ יְהוָה מִקְּדָשׁ אֲדֹנָי כּֽוֹנְנוּ יָדֶֽיךָ׃
Thou shalt bring them in, and plant them in the mountain of thine inheritance, in the place, O LORD, which thou hast made for thee to dwell in, in the Sanctuary, O Lord, which thy hands have established.
זֶה הַדָּבָר אֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יְהוָה לִקְטוּ מִמֶּנּוּ אִישׁ לְפִי אָכְלוֹ עֹמֶר לַגֻּלְגֹּלֶת מִסְפַּר נַפְשֹׁתֵיכֶם אִישׁ לַֽאֲשֶׁר בְּאָֽהֳלוֹ תִּקָּֽחוּ׃
This is the thing which the LORD hath commanded, Gather of it every man according to his eating, an omer for every man, according to the number of your persons; take ye every man for them which are in his tents.
וַיֵּצֵא מֹשֶׁה לִקְרַאת חֹֽתְנוֹ וַיִּשְׁתַּחוּ וַיִּשַּׁק-לוֹ וַיִּשְׁאֲלוּ אִישׁ-לְרֵעֵהוּ לְשָׁלוֹם וַיָּבֹאוּ הָאֹֽהֱלָה׃
And Moses went out to meet his father in law, and did obeisance, and kissed him; and they asked each other of their welfare; and they came into the tent.
וְעָשׂוּ לִי מִקְדָּשׁ וְשָֽׁכַנְתִּי בְּתוֹכָֽם׃
And let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them.
כְּכֹל אֲשֶׁר אֲנִי מַרְאֶה אֽוֹתְךָ אֵת תַּבְנִית הַמִּשְׁכָּן וְאֵת תַּבְנִית כָּל-כֵּלָיו וְכֵן תַּֽעֲשֽׂוּ׃
According to all that I shew thee, after the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all the instruments thereof, even so shall ye make it.
וְאֶת-הַמִּשְׁכָּן תַּֽעֲשֶׂה עֶשֶׂר יְרִיעֹת שֵׁשׁ מָשְׁזָר וּתְכֵלֶת וְאַרְגָּמָן וְתֹלַעַת שָׁנִי כְּרֻבִים מַֽעֲשֵׂה חֹשֵׁב תַּֽעֲשֶׂה אֹתָֽם׃
Moreover thou shalt make the tabernacle with ten curtains of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet: with cherubims of cunning work shalt thou make them.
וְעָשִׂיתָ חֲמִשִּׁים קַרְסֵי זָהָב וְחִבַּרְתָּ אֶת-הַיְרִיעֹת אִשָּׁה אֶל-אֲחֹתָהּ בַּקְּרָסִים וְהָיָה הַמִּשְׁכָּן אֶחָֽד׃
And thou shalt make fifty taches of gold, and couple the curtains together with the taches: and it shall be one tabernacle.
וְעָשִׂיתָ יְרִיעֹת עִזִּים לְאֹהֶל עַל-הַמִּשְׁכָּן עַשְׁתֵּי-עֶשְׂרֵה יְרִיעֹת תַּֽעֲשֶׂה אֹתָֽם׃
And thou shalt make curtains of goats' hair to be a covering upon the tabernacle: eleven curtains shalt thou make.
וְחִבַּרְתָּ אֶת-חֲמֵשׁ הַיְרִיעֹת לְבָד וְאֶת-שֵׁשׁ הַיְרִיעֹת לְבָד וְכָֽפַלְתָּ אֶת-הַיְרִיעָה הַשִּׁשִּׁית אֶל-מוּל פְּנֵי הָאֹֽהֶל׃
And thou shalt couple five curtains by themselves, and six curtains by themselves, and shalt double the sixth curtain in the forefront of the tabernacle.
וְעָשִׂיתָ קַרְסֵי נְחֹשֶׁת חֲמִשִּׁים וְהֵֽבֵאתָ אֶת-הַקְּרָסִים בַּלֻּלָאֹת וְחִבַּרְתָּ אֶת-הָאֹהֶל וְהָיָה אֶחָֽד׃
And thou shalt make fifty taches of brass, and put the taches into the loops, and couple the tent together, that it may be one.
וְסֶרַח הָֽעֹדֵף בִּֽירִיעֹת הָאֹהֶל חֲצִי הַיְרִיעָה הָֽעֹדֶפֶת תִּסְרַח עַל אֲחֹרֵי הַמִּשְׁכָּֽן׃
And the remnant that remaineth of the curtains of the tent, the half curtain that remaineth, shall hang over the backside of the tabernacle.
וְהָֽאַמָּה מִזֶּה וְהָֽאַמָּה מִזֶּה בָּֽעֹדֵף בְּאֹרֶךְ יְרִיעֹת הָאֹהֶל יִֽהְיֶה סָרוּחַ עַל-צִדֵּי הַמִּשְׁכָּן מִזֶּה וּמִזֶּה לְכַסֹּתֽוֹ׃
And a cubit on the one side, and a cubit on the other side of that which remaineth in the length of the curtains of the tent, it shall hang over the sides of the tabernacle on this side and on that side, to cover it.
וְעָשִׂיתָ מִכְסֶה לָאֹהֶל עֹרֹת אֵילִם מְאָדָּמִים וּמִכְסֵה עֹרֹת תְּחָשִׁים מִלְמָֽעְלָה׃
And thou shalt make a covering for the tent of rams' skins dyed red, and a covering above of badgers' skins.
וְעָשִׂיתָ אֶת-הַקְּרָשִׁים לַמִּשְׁכָּן עֲצֵי שִׁטִּים עֹֽמְדִֽים׃
And thou shalt make boards for the tabernacle of shittim wood standing up.
שְׁתֵּי יָדוֹת לַקֶּרֶשׁ הָֽאֶחָד מְשֻׁלָּבֹת אִשָּׁה אֶל-אֲחֹתָהּ כֵּן תַּֽעֲשֶׂה לְכֹל קַרְשֵׁי הַמִּשְׁכָּֽן׃
Two tenons shall there be in one board, set in order one against another: thus shalt thou make for all the boards of the tabernacle.
וְעָשִׂיתָ אֶת-הַקְּרָשִׁים לַמִּשְׁכָּן עֶשְׂרִים קֶרֶשׁ לִפְאַת נֶגְבָּה תֵימָֽנָה׃
And thou shalt make the boards for the tabernacle, twenty boards on the south side southward.
וּלְצֶלַע הַמִּשְׁכָּן הַשֵּׁנִית לִפְאַת צָפוֹן עֶשְׂרִים קָֽרֶשׁ׃
And for the second side of the tabernacle on the north side there shall be twenty boards:
וּֽלְיַרְכְּתֵי הַמִּשְׁכָּן יָמָּה תַּֽעֲשֶׂה שִׁשָּׁה קְרָשִֽׁים׃
And for the sides of the tabernacle westward thou shalt make six boards.
וּשְׁנֵי קְרָשִׁים תַּֽעֲשֶׂה לִמְקֻצְעֹת הַמִּשְׁכָּן בַּיַּרְכָתָֽיִם׃
And two boards shalt thou make for the corners of the tabernacle in the two sides.
וְעָשִׂיתָ בְרִיחִם עֲצֵי שִׁטִּים חֲמִשָּׁה לְקַרְשֵׁי צֶֽלַע-הַמִּשְׁכָּן הָֽאֶחָֽד׃
And thou shalt make bars of shittim wood; five for the boards of the one side of the tabernacle,
וַֽחֲמִשָּׁה בְרִיחִם לְקַרְשֵׁי צֶֽלַע-הַמִּשְׁכָּן הַשֵּׁנִית וַֽחֲמִשָּׁה בְרִיחִם לְקַרְשֵׁי צֶלַע הַמִּשְׁכָּן לַיַּרְכָתַיִם יָֽמָּה׃
And five bars for the boards of the other side of the tabernacle, and five bars for the boards of the side of the tabernacle, for the two sides westward.
וַהֲקֵֽמֹתָ אֶת-הַמִּשְׁכָּן כְּמִשְׁפָּטוֹ אֲשֶׁר הָרְאֵיתָ בָּהָֽר׃
And thou shalt rear up the tabernacle according to the fashion thereof which was shewed thee in the mount.
וְשַׂמְתָּ אֶת-הַשֻּׁלְחָן מִחוּץ לַפָּרֹכֶת וְאֶת-הַמְּנֹרָה נֹכַח הַשֻּׁלְחָן עַל צֶלַע הַמִּשְׁכָּן תֵּימָנָה וְהַשֻּׁלְחָן תִּתֵּן עַל-צֶלַע צָפֽוֹן׃
And thou shalt set the table without the vail, and the candlestick over against the table on the side of the tabernacle toward the south: and thou shalt put the table on the north side.
וְעָשִׂיתָ מָסָךְ לְפֶתַח הָאֹהֶל תְּכֵלֶת וְאַרְגָּמָן וְתוֹלַעַת שָׁנִי וְשֵׁשׁ מָשְׁזָר מַֽעֲשֵׂה רֹקֵֽם׃
And thou shalt make an hanging for the door of the tent, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen, wrought with needlework.
וְעָשִׂיתָ אֵת חֲצַר הַמִּשְׁכָּן לִפְאַת נֶֽגֶב-תֵּימָנָה קְלָעִים לֶֽחָצֵר שֵׁשׁ מָשְׁזָר מֵאָה בָֽאַמָּה אֹרֶךְ לַפֵּאָה הָֽאֶחָֽת׃
And thou shalt make the court of the tabernacle: for the south side southward there shall be hangings for the court of fine twined linen of an hundred cubits long for one side:
לְכֹל כְּלֵי הַמִּשְׁכָּן בְּכֹל עֲבֹֽדָתוֹ וְכָל-יְתֵֽדֹתָיו וְכָל-יִתְדֹת הֶֽחָצֵר נְחֹֽשֶׁת׃
All the vessels of the tabernacle in all the service thereof, and all the pins thereof, and all the pins of the court, shall be of brass.
בְּאֹהֶל מוֹעֵד מִחוּץ לַפָּרֹכֶת אֲשֶׁר עַל-הָֽעֵדֻת יַֽעֲרֹךְ אֹתוֹ אַֽהֲרֹן וּבָנָיו מֵעֶרֶב עַד-בֹּקֶר לִפְנֵי יְהוָה חֻקַּת עוֹלָם לְדֹרֹתָם מֵאֵת בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
In the tabernacle of the congregation without the vail, which is before the testimony, Aaron and his sons shall order it from evening to morning before the LORD: it shall be a statute for ever unto their generations on the behalf of the children of Israel.
וְהָיוּ עַל-אַֽהֲרֹן וְעַל-בָּנָיו בְּבֹאָם׀ אֶל-אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד אוֹ בְגִשְׁתָּם אֶל-הַמִּזְבֵּחַ לְשָׁרֵת בַּקֹּדֶשׁ וְלֹֽא-יִשְׂאוּ עָוֹן וָמֵתוּ חֻקַּת עוֹלָם לוֹ וּלְזַרְעוֹ אַֽחֲרָֽיו׃
And they shall be upon Aaron, and upon his sons, when they come in unto the tabernacle of the congregation, or when they come near unto the altar to minister in the holy place; that they bear not iniquity, and die: it shall be a statute for ever unto him and his seed after him.
וְאֶת-אַֽהֲרֹן וְאֶת-בָּנָיו תַּקְרִיב אֶל-פֶּתַח אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד וְרָֽחַצְתָּ אֹתָם בַּמָּֽיִם׃
And Aaron and his sons thou shalt bring unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and shalt wash them with water.
וְהִקְרַבְתָּ אֶת-הַפָּר לִפְנֵי אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד וְסָמַךְ אַֽהֲרֹן וּבָנָיו אֶת-יְדֵיהֶם עַל-רֹאשׁ הַפָּֽר׃
And thou shalt cause a bullock to be brought before the tabernacle of the congregation: and Aaron and his sons shall put their hands upon the head of the bullock.
וְשָֽׁחַטְתָּ אֶת-הַפָּר לִפְנֵי יְהוָה פֶּתַח אֹהֶל מוֹעֵֽד׃
And thou shalt kill the bullock before the LORD, by the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
שִׁבְעַת יָמִים יִלְבָּשָׁם הַכֹּהֵן תַּחְתָּיו מִבָּנָיו אֲשֶׁר יָבֹא אֶל-אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד לְשָׁרֵת בַּקֹּֽדֶשׁ׃
And that son that is priest in his stead shall put them on seven days, when he cometh into the tabernacle of the congregation to minister in the holy place.
וְאָכַל אַֽהֲרֹן וּבָנָיו אֶת-בְּשַׂר הָאַיִל וְאֶת-הַלֶּחֶם אֲשֶׁר בַּסָּל פֶּתַח אֹהֶל מוֹעֵֽד׃
And Aaron and his sons shall eat the flesh of the ram, and the bread that is in the basket, by the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
עֹלַת תָּמִיד לְדֹרֹתֵיכֶם פֶּתַח אֹֽהֶל-מוֹעֵד לִפְנֵי יְהוָה אֲשֶׁר אִוָּעֵד לָכֶם שָׁמָּה לְדַבֵּר אֵלֶיךָ שָֽׁם׃
This shall be a continual burnt offering throughout your generations at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the LORD: where I will meet you, to speak there unto thee.
וְקִדַּשְׁתִּי אֶת-אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד וְאֶת-הַמִּזְבֵּחַ וְאֶת-אַֽהֲרֹן וְאֶת-בָּנָיו אֲקַדֵּשׁ לְכַהֵן לִֽי׃
And I will sanctify the tabernacle of the congregation, and the altar: I will sanctify also both Aaron and his sons, to minister to me in the priest's office.
וְלָֽקַחְתָּ אֶת-כֶּסֶף הַכִּפֻּרִים מֵאֵת בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וְנָֽתַתָּ אֹתוֹ עַל-עֲבֹדַת אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד וְהָיָה לִבְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל לְזִכָּרוֹן לִפְנֵי יְהוָה לְכַפֵּר עַל-נַפְשֹֽׁתֵיכֶֽם׃
And thou shalt take the atonement money of the children of Israel, and shalt appoint it for the service of the tabernacle of the congregation; that it may be a memorial unto the children of Israel before the LORD, to make an atonement for your souls.
וְעָשִׂיתָ כִּיּוֹר נְחֹשֶׁת וְכַנּוֹ נְחֹשֶׁת לְרָחְצָה וְנָֽתַתָּ אֹתוֹ בֵּֽין-אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד וּבֵין הַמִּזְבֵּחַ וְנָֽתַתָּ שָׁמָּה מָֽיִם׃
Thou shalt also make a laver of brass, and his foot also of brass, to wash withal: and thou shalt put it between the tabernacle of the congregation and the altar, and thou shalt put water therein.
בְּבֹאָם אֶל-אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד יִרְחֲצוּ-מַיִם וְלֹא יָמֻתוּ אוֹ בְגִשְׁתָּם אֶל-הַמִּזְבֵּחַ לְשָׁרֵת לְהַקְטִיר אִשֶּׁה לַֽיהוָֽה׃
When they go into the tabernacle of the congregation, they shall wash with water, that they die not; or when they come near to the altar to minister, to burn offering made by fire unto the LORD:
וּמָֽשַׁחְתָּ בוֹ אֶת-אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד וְאֵת אֲרוֹן הָֽעֵדֻֽת׃
And thou shalt anoint the tabernacle of the congregation therewith, and the ark of the testimony,
וְשָֽׁחַקְתָּ מִמֶּנָּה הָדֵק וְנָֽתַתָּה מִמֶּנָּה לִפְנֵי הָֽעֵדֻת בְּאֹהֶל מוֹעֵד אֲשֶׁר אִוָּעֵד לְךָ שָׁמָּה קֹדֶשׁ קָֽדָשִׁים תִּֽהְיֶה לָכֶֽם׃
And thou shalt beat some of it very small, and put of it before the testimony in the tabernacle of the congregation, where I will meet with thee: it shall be unto you most holy.
אֵת׀ אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד וְאֶת-הָֽאָרֹן לָֽעֵדֻת וְאֶת-הַכַּפֹּרֶת אֲשֶׁר עָלָיו וְאֵת כָּל-כְּלֵי הָאֹֽהֶל׃
The tabernacle of the congregation, and the ark of the testimony, and the mercy seat that is thereupon, and all the furniture of the tabernacle,
וּמֹשֶׁה יִקַּח אֶת-הָאֹהֶל וְנָֽטָה-לוֹ׀ מִחוּץ לַֽמַּחֲנֶה הַרְחֵק מִן-הַֽמַּחֲנֶה וְקָרָא לוֹ אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד וְהָיָה כָּל-מְבַקֵּשׁ יְהוָה יֵצֵא אֶל-אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד אֲשֶׁר מִחוּץ לַֽמַּחֲנֶֽה׃
And Moses took the tabernacle, and pitched it without the camp, afar off from the camp, and called it the Tabernacle of the congregation. And it came to pass, that every one which sought the LORD went out unto the tabernacle of the congregation, which was without the camp.
וְהָיָה כְּצֵאת מֹשֶׁה אֶל-הָאֹהֶל יָקוּמוּ כָּל-הָעָם וְנִצְּבוּ אִישׁ פֶּתַח אָֽהֳלוֹ וְהִבִּיטוּ אַֽחֲרֵי מֹשֶׁה עַד-בֹּאוֹ הָאֹֽהֱלָה׃
And it came to pass, when Moses went out unto the tabernacle, that all the people rose up, and stood every man at his tent door, and looked after Moses, until he was gone into the tabernacle.
וְהָיָה כְּבֹא מֹשֶׁה הָאֹהֱלָה יֵרֵד עַמּוּד הֶֽעָנָן וְעָמַד פֶּתַח הָאֹהֶל וְדִבֶּר עִם-מֹשֶֽׁה׃
And it came to pass, as Moses entered into the tabernacle, the cloudy pillar descended, and stood at the door of the tabernacle, and the Lord talked with Moses.
וְרָאָה כָל-הָעָם אֶת-עַמּוּד הֶֽעָנָן עֹמֵד פֶּתַח הָאֹהֶל וְקָם כָּל-הָעָם וְהִֽשְׁתַּחֲוּוּ אִישׁ פֶּתַח אָֽהֳלֽוֹ׃
And all the people saw the cloudy pillar stand at the tabernacle door: and all the people rose up and worshipped, every man in his tent door.
וְדִבֶּר יְהוָה אֶל-מֹשֶׁה פָּנִים אֶל-פָּנִים כַּֽאֲשֶׁר יְדַבֵּר אִישׁ אֶל-רֵעֵהוּ וְשָׁב אֶל-הַֽמַּחֲנֶה וּמְשָׁרְתוֹ יְהוֹשֻׁעַ בִּן-נוּן נַעַר לֹא יָמִישׁ מִתּוֹךְ הָאֹֽהֶל׃
And the LORD spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend. And he turned again into the camp: but his servant Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man, departed not out of the tabernacle.
אֶת-הַמִּשְׁכָּן אֶֽת-אָהֳלוֹ וְאֶת-מִכְסֵהוּ אֶת-קְרָסָיו וְאֶת-קְרָשָׁיו אֶת-בְּרִיחָו אֶת-עַמֻּדָיו וְאֶת-אֲדָנָֽיו׃
The tabernacle, his tent, and his covering, his taches, and his boards, his bars, his pillars, and his sockets,
וְאֶת-מִזְבַּח הַקְּטֹרֶת וְאֶת-בַּדָּיו וְאֵת שֶׁמֶן הַמִּשְׁחָה וְאֵת קְטֹרֶת הַסַּמִּים וְאֶת-מָסַךְ הַפֶּתַח לְפֶתַח הַמִּשְׁכָּֽן׃
And the incense altar, and his staves, and the anointing oil, and the sweet incense, and the hanging for the door at the entering in of the tabernacle,
אֶת-יִתְדֹת הַמִּשְׁכָּן וְאֶת-יִתְדֹת הֶֽחָצֵר וְאֶת-מֵֽיתְרֵיהֶֽם׃
The pins of the tabernacle, and the pins of the court, and their cords,
וַיָּבֹאוּ כָּל-אִישׁ אֲשֶׁר-נְשָׂאוֹ לִבּוֹ וְכֹל אֲשֶׁר נָֽדְבָה רוּחוֹ אֹתוֹ הֵבִיאוּ אֶת-תְּרוּמַת יְהוָה לִמְלֶאכֶת אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד וּלְכָל-עֲבֹדָתוֹ וּלְבִגְדֵי הַקֹּֽדֶשׁ׃
And they came, every one whose heart stirred him up, and every one whom his spirit made willing, and they brought the LORD's offering to the work of the tabernacle of the congregation, and for all his service, and for the holy garments.
וַיַּֽעֲשׂוּ כָל-חֲכַם-לֵב בְּעֹשֵׂי הַמְּלָאכָה אֶת-הַמִּשְׁכָּן עֶשֶׂר יְרִיעֹת שֵׁשׁ מָשְׁזָר וּתְכֵלֶת וְאַרְגָּמָן וְתוֹלַעַת שָׁנִי כְּרֻבִים מַֽעֲשֵׂה חֹשֵׁב עָשָׂה אֹתָֽם׃
And every wise hearted man among them that wrought the work of the tabernacle made ten curtains of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet: with cherubims of cunning work made he them.
וַיַּעַשׂ חֲמִשִּׁים קַרְסֵי זָהָב וַיְחַבֵּר אֶת-הַיְרִיעֹת אַחַת אֶל-אַחַת בַּקְּרָסִים וַיְהִי הַמִּשְׁכָּן אֶחָֽד׃
And he made fifty taches of gold, and coupled the curtains one unto another with the taches: so it became one tabernacle.
וַיַּעַשׂ יְרִיעֹת עִזִּים לְאֹהֶל עַל-הַמִּשְׁכָּן עַשְׁתֵּֽי-עֶשְׂרֵה יְרִיעֹת עָשָׂה אֹתָֽם׃
And he made curtains of goats' hair for the tent over the tabernacle: eleven curtains he made them.
וַיַּעַשׂ קַרְסֵי נְחֹשֶׁת חֲמִשִּׁים לְחַבֵּר אֶת-הָאֹהֶל לִֽהְיֹת אֶחָֽד׃
And he made fifty taches of brass to couple together, the tent that it might be one.
וַיַּעַשׂ מִכְסֶה לָאֹהֶל עֹרֹת אֵילִם מְאָדָּמִים וּמִכְסֵה עֹרֹת תְּחָשִׁים מִלְמָֽעְלָה׃
And he made a covering for the tent of rams' skins dyed red, and a covering of badgers' skins above that.
וַיַּעַשׂ אֶת-הַקְּרָשִׁים לַמִּשְׁכָּן עֲצֵי שִׁטִּים עֹֽמְדִֽים׃
And he made boards for the tabernacle of shittim wood, standing up.
שְׁתֵּי יָדֹת לַקֶּרֶשׁ הָֽאֶחָד מְשֻׁלָּבֹת אַחַת אֶל-אֶחָת כֵּן עָשָׂה לְכֹל קַרְשֵׁי הַמִּשְׁכָּֽן׃
One board had two tenons, equally distant one from another: thus did he make for all the boards of the tabernacle.
וַיַּעַשׂ אֶת-הַקְּרָשִׁים לַמִּשְׁכָּן עֶשְׂרִים קְרָשִׁים לִפְאַת נֶגֶב תֵּימָֽנָה׃
And he made boards for the tabernacle; twenty boards for the south side southward:
וּלְצֶלַע הַמִּשְׁכָּן הַשֵּׁנִית לִפְאַת צָפוֹן עָשָׂה עֶשְׂרִים קְרָשִֽׁים׃
And for the other side of the tabernacle, which is toward the north corner, he made twenty boards,
וּֽלְיַרְכְּתֵי הַמִּשְׁכָּן יָמָּה עָשָׂה שִׁשָּׁה קְרָשִֽׁים׃
And for the sides of the tabernacle westward he made six boards.
וּשְׁנֵי קְרָשִׁים עָשָׂה לִמְקֻצְעֹת הַמִּשְׁכָּן בַּיַּרְכָתָֽיִם׃
And two boards made he for the corners of the tabernacle in the two sides.
וַיַּעַשׂ בְּרִיחֵי עֲצֵי שִׁטִּים חֲמִשָּׁה לְקַרְשֵׁי צֶֽלַע-הַמִּשְׁכָּן הָֽאֶחָֽת׃
And he made bars of shittim wood; five for the boards of the one side of the tabernacle,
וַֽחֲמִשָּׁה בְרִיחִם לְקַרְשֵׁי צֶֽלַע-הַמִּשְׁכָּן הַשֵּׁנִית וַֽחֲמִשָּׁה בְרִיחִם לְקַרְשֵׁי הַמִּשְׁכָּן לַיַּרְכָתַיִם יָֽמָּה׃
And five bars for the boards of the other side of the tabernacle, and five bars for the boards of the tabernacle for the sides westward.
וַיַּעַשׂ מָסָךְ לְפֶתַח הָאֹהֶל תְּכֵלֶת וְאַרְגָּמָן וְתוֹלַעַת שָׁנִי וְשֵׁשׁ מָשְׁזָר מַֽעֲשֵׂה רֹקֵֽם׃
And he made an hanging for the tabernacle door of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen, of needlework;
וַיַּעַשׂ אֵת הַכִּיּוֹר נְחֹשֶׁת וְאֵת כַּנּוֹ נְחֹשֶׁת בְּמַרְאֹת הַצֹּבְאֹת אֲשֶׁר צָֽבְאוּ פֶּתַח אֹהֶל מוֹעֵֽד׃
And he made the laver of brass, and the foot of it of brass, of the lookingglasses of the women assembling, which assembled at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
וְֽכָל-הַיְתֵדֹת לַמִּשְׁכָּן וְלֶֽחָצֵר סָבִיב נְחֹֽשֶׁת׃
And all the pins of the tabernacle, and of the court round about, were of brass.
אֵלֶּה פְקוּדֵי הַמִּשְׁכָּן מִשְׁכַּן הָֽעֵדֻת אֲשֶׁר פֻּקַּד עַל-פִּי מֹשֶׁה עֲבֹדַת הַלְוִיִּם בְּיַד אִֽיתָמָר בֶּֽן-אַהֲרֹן הַכֹּהֵֽן׃
This is the sum of the tabernacle, even of the tabernacle of testimony, as it was counted, according to the commandment of Moses, for the service of the Levites, by the hand of Ithamar, son to Aaron the priest.
וַיַּעַשׂ בָּהּ אֶת-אַדְנֵי פֶּתַח אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד וְאֵת מִזְבַּח הַנְּחֹשֶׁת וְאֶת-מִכְבַּר הַנְּחֹשֶׁת אֲשֶׁר-לוֹ וְאֵת כָּל-כְּלֵי הַמִּזְבֵּֽחַ׃
And therewith he made the sockets to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and the brasen altar, and the brasen grate for it, and all the vessels of the altar,
וְאֶת-אַדְנֵי הֶֽחָצֵר סָבִיב וְאֶת-אַדְנֵי שַׁעַר הֶֽחָצֵר וְאֵת כָּל-יִתְדֹת הַמִּשְׁכָּן וְאֶת-כָּל-יִתְדֹת הֶֽחָצֵר סָבִֽיב׃
And the sockets of the court round about, and the sockets of the court gate, and all the pins of the tabernacle, and all the pins of the court round about.
וַתֵּכֶל כָּל-עֲבֹדַת מִשְׁכַּן אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד וַֽיַּעֲשׂוּ בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל כְּכֹל אֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יְהוָה אֶת-מֹשֶׁה כֵּן עָשֽׂוּ׃
Thus was all the work of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation finished: and the children of Israel did according to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so did they.
וַיָּבִיאוּ אֶת-הַמִּשְׁכָּן אֶל-מֹשֶׁה אֶת-הָאֹהֶל וְאֶת-כָּל-כֵּלָיו קְרָסָיו קְרָשָׁיו (בריחו) בְּרִיחָיו וְעַמֻּדָיו וַֽאֲדָנָֽיו׃
And they brought the tabernacle unto Moses, the tent, and all his furniture, his taches, his boards, his bars, and his pillars, and his sockets,
וְאֵת מִזְבַּח הַזָּהָב וְאֵת שֶׁמֶן הַמִּשְׁחָה וְאֵת קְטֹרֶת הַסַּמִּים וְאֵת מָסַךְ פֶּתַח הָאֹֽהֶל׃
And the golden altar, and the anointing oil, and the sweet incense, and the hanging for the tabernacle door,
אֵת קַלְעֵי הֶֽחָצֵר אֶת-עַמֻּדֶיהָ וְאֶת-אֲדָנֶיהָ וְאֶת-הַמָּסָךְ לְשַׁעַר הֶֽחָצֵר אֶת-מֵֽיתָרָיו וִיתֵֽדֹתֶיהָ וְאֵת כָּל-כְּלֵי עֲבֹדַת הַמִּשְׁכָּן לְאֹהֶל מוֹעֵֽד׃
The hangings of the court, his pillars, and his sockets, and the hanging for the court gate, his cords, and his pins, and all the vessels of the service of the tabernacle, for the tent of the congregation,
בְּיוֹם-הַחֹדֶשׁ הָֽרִאשׁוֹן בְּאֶחָד לַחֹדֶשׁ תָּקִים אֶת-מִשְׁכַּן אֹהֶל מוֹעֵֽד׃
On the first day of the first month shalt thou set up the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation.
וְנָֽתַתָּה אֶת-מִזְבַּח הַזָּהָב לִקְטֹרֶת לִפְנֵי אֲרוֹן הָֽעֵדֻת וְשַׂמְתָּ אֶת-מָסַךְ הַפֶּתַח לַמִּשְׁכָּֽן׃
And thou shalt set the altar of gold for the incense before the ark of the testimony, and put the hanging of the door to the tabernacle.
וְנָתַתָּה אֵת מִזְבַּח הָֽעֹלָה לִפְנֵי פֶּתַח מִשְׁכַּן אֹֽהֶל-מוֹעֵֽד׃
And thou shalt set the altar of the burnt offering before the door of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation.
וְנָֽתַתָּ אֶת-הַכִּיֹּר בֵּֽין-אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד וּבֵין הַמִּזְבֵּחַ וְנָֽתַתָּ שָׁם מָֽיִם׃
And thou shalt set the laver between the tent of the congregation and the altar, and shalt put water therein.
וְלָֽקַחְתָּ אֶת-שֶׁמֶן הַמִּשְׁחָה וּמָֽשַׁחְתָּ אֶת-הַמִּשְׁכָּן וְאֶת-כָּל-אֲשֶׁר-בּוֹ וְקִדַּשְׁתָּ אֹתוֹ וְאֶת-כָּל-כֵּלָיו וְהָיָה קֹֽדֶשׁ׃
And thou shalt take the anointing oil, and anoint the tabernacle, and all that is therein, and shalt hallow it, and all the vessels thereof: and it shall be holy.
וְהִקְרַבְתָּ אֶֽת-אַהֲרֹן וְאֶת-בָּנָיו אֶל-פֶּתַח אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד וְרָֽחַצְתָּ אֹתָם בַּמָּֽיִם׃
And thou shalt bring Aaron and his sons unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and wash them with water.
וַיְהִי בַּחֹדֶשׁ הָֽרִאשׁוֹן בַּשָּׁנָה הַשֵּׁנִית בְּאֶחָד לַחֹדֶשׁ הוּקַם הַמִּשְׁכָּֽן׃
And it came to pass in the first month in the second year, on the first day of the month, that the tabernacle was reared up.
וַיָּקֶם מֹשֶׁה אֶת-הַמִּשְׁכָּן וַיִּתֵּן אֶת-אֲדָנָיו וַיָּשֶׂם אֶת-קְרָשָׁיו וַיִּתֵּן אֶת-בְּרִיחָיו וַיָּקֶם אֶת-עַמּוּדָֽיו׃
And Moses reared up the tabernacle, and fastened his sockets, and set up the boards thereof, and put in the bars thereof, and reared up his pillars.
