וַיּוֹצֵא הָעֶבֶד כְּלֵי-כֶסֶף וּכְלֵי זָהָב וּבְגָדִים וַיִּתֵּן לְרִבְקָה וּמִגְדָּנֹת נָתַן לְאָחִיהָ וּלְאִמָּֽהּ׃
And the servant brought forth jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment, and gave them to Rebekah: he gave also to her brother and to her mother precious things.
וְעַתָּה שָׂא-נָא כֵלֶיךָ תֶּלְיְךָ וְקַשְׁתֶּךָ וְצֵא הַשָּׂדֶה וְצוּדָה לִּי (צידה) צָֽיִד׃
Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me some venison;
כִּֽי-מִשַּׁשְׁתָּ אֶת-כָּל-כֵּלַי מַה-מָּצָאתָ מִכֹּל כְּלֵֽי-בֵיתֶךָ שִׂים כֹּה נֶגֶד אַחַי וְאַחֶיךָ וְיוֹכִיחוּ בֵּין שְׁנֵֽינוּ׃
Whereas thou hast searched all my stuff, what hast thou found of all thy household stuff? set it here before my brethren and thy brethren, that they may judge betwixt us both.
וַיְצַו יוֹסֵף וַיְמַלְאוּ אֶת-כְּלֵיהֶם בָּר וּלְהָשִׁיב כַּסְפֵּיהֶם אִישׁ אֶל-שַׂקּוֹ וְלָתֵת לָהֶם צֵדָה לַדָּרֶךְ וַיַּעַשׂ לָהֶם כֵּֽן׃
Then Joseph commanded to fill their sacks with corn, and to restore every man's money into his sack, and to give them provision for the way: and thus did he unto them.
וַיֹּאמֶר אֲלֵהֶם יִשְׂרָאֵל אֲבִיהֶם אִם-כֵּן׀ אֵפוֹא זֹאת עֲשׂוּ קְחוּ מִזִּמְרַת הָאָרֶץ בִּכְלֵיכֶם וְהוֹרִידוּ לָאִישׁ מִנְחָה מְעַט צֳרִי וּמְעַט דְּבַשׁ נְכֹאת וָלֹט בָּטְנִים וּשְׁקֵדִֽים׃
And their father Israel said unto them, If it must be so now, do this; take of the best fruits in the land in your vessels, and carry down the man a present, a little balm, and a little honey, spices, and myrrh, nuts, and almonds:
וְעֵינְכֶם אַל-תָּחֹס עַל-כְּלֵיכֶם כִּי-טוּב כָּל-אֶרֶץ מִצְרַיִם לָכֶם הֽוּא׃
Also regard not your stuff; for the good of all the land of Egypt is yours.
שִׁמְעוֹן וְלֵוִי אַחִים כְּלֵי חָמָס מְכֵרֹֽתֵיהֶֽם׃
Simeon and Levi are brethren; instruments of cruelty are in their habitations.
וְשָֽׁאֲלָה אִשָּׁה מִשְּׁכֶנְתָּהּ וּמִגָּרַת בֵּיתָהּ כְּלֵי-כֶסֶף וּכְלֵי זָהָב וּשְׂמָלֹת וְשַׂמְתֶּם עַל-בְּנֵיכֶם וְעַל-בְּנֹתֵיכֶם וְנִצַּלְתֶּם אֶת-מִצְרָֽיִם׃
But every woman shall borrow of her neighbour, and of her that sojourneth in her house, jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment: and ye shall put them upon your sons, and upon your daughters; and ye shall spoil the Egyptians.
דַּבֶּר-נָא בְּאָזְנֵי הָעָם וְיִשְׁאֲלוּ אִישׁ׀ מֵאֵת רֵעֵהוּ וְאִשָּׁה מֵאֵת רְעוּתָהּ כְּלֵי-כֶסֶף וּכְלֵי זָהָֽב׃
Speak now in the ears of the people, and let every man borrow of his neighbour, and every woman of her neighbour, jewels of silver, and jewels of gold.
וּבְנֵֽי-יִשְׂרָאֵל עָשׂוּ כִּדְבַר מֹשֶׁה וַֽיִּשְׁאֲלוּ מִמִּצְרַיִם כְּלֵי-כֶסֶף וּכְלֵי זָהָב וּשְׂמָלֹֽת׃
And the children of Israel did according to the word of Moses; and they borrowed of the Egyptians jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment:
כִּֽי-יִתֵּן אִישׁ אֶל-רֵעֵהוּ כֶּסֶף אֽוֹ-כֵלִים לִשְׁמֹר וְגֻנַּב מִבֵּית הָאִישׁ אִם-יִמָּצֵא הַגַּנָּב יְשַׁלֵּם שְׁנָֽיִם׃
If a man shall deliver unto his neighbour money or stuff to keep, and it be stolen out of the man's house; if the thief be found, let him pay double.
כְּכֹל אֲשֶׁר אֲנִי מַרְאֶה אֽוֹתְךָ אֵת תַּבְנִית הַמִּשְׁכָּן וְאֵת תַּבְנִית כָּל-כֵּלָיו וְכֵן תַּֽעֲשֽׂוּ׃
According to all that I shew thee, after the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all the instruments thereof, even so shall ye make it.
כִּכָּר זָהָב טָהוֹר יַֽעֲשֶׂה אֹתָהּ אֵת כָּל-הַכֵּלִים הָאֵֽלֶּה׃
Of a talent of pure gold shall he make it, with all these vessels.
וְעָשִׂיתָ סִּֽירֹתָיו לְדַשְּׁנוֹ וְיָעָיו וּמִזְרְקֹתָיו וּמִזְלְגֹתָיו וּמַחְתֹּתָיו לְכָל-כֵּלָיו תַּֽעֲשֶׂה נְחֹֽשֶׁת׃
And thou shalt make his pans to receive his ashes, and his shovels, and his basons, and his fleshhooks, and his firepans: all the vessels thereof thou shalt make of brass.
לְכֹל כְּלֵי הַמִּשְׁכָּן בְּכֹל עֲבֹֽדָתוֹ וְכָל-יְתֵֽדֹתָיו וְכָל-יִתְדֹת הֶֽחָצֵר נְחֹֽשֶׁת׃
All the vessels of the tabernacle in all the service thereof, and all the pins thereof, and all the pins of the court, shall be of brass.
וְאֶת-הַשֻּׁלְחָן וְאֶת-כָּל-כֵּלָיו וְאֶת-הַמְּנֹרָה וְאֶת-כֵּלֶיהָ וְאֵת מִזְבַּח הַקְּטֹֽרֶת׃
And the table and all his vessels, and the candlestick and his vessels, and the altar of incense,
וְאֶת-מִזְבַּח הָֽעֹלָה וְאֶת-כָּל-כֵּלָיו וְאֶת-הַכִּיֹּר וְאֶת-כַּנּֽוֹ׃
And the altar of burnt offering with all his vessels, and the laver and his foot.

The candlestick also for the light, and his furniture, and his lamps, with the oil for the light,
אֵת׀ מִזְבַּח הָֽעֹלָה וְאֶת-מִכְבַּר הַנְּחֹשֶׁת אֲשֶׁר-לוֹ אֶת-בַּדָּיו וְאֶת-כָּל-כֵּלָיו אֶת-הַכִּיֹּר וְאֶת-כַּנּֽוֹ׃
The altar of burnt offering, with his brasen grate, his staves, and all his vessels, the laver and his foot,
וַיָּבֹאוּ הָֽאֲנָשִׁים עַל-הַנָּשִׁים כֹּל׀ נְדִיב לֵב הֵבִיאוּ חָח וָנֶזֶם וְטַבַּעַת וְכוּמָז כָּל-כְּלִי זָהָב וְכָל-אִישׁ אֲשֶׁר הֵנִיף תְּנוּפַת זָהָב לַֽיהוָֽה׃
And they came, both men and women, as many as were willing hearted, and brought bracelets, and earrings, and rings, and tablets, all jewels of gold: and every man that offered offered an offering of gold unto the LORD.
וַיַּעַשׂ אֶֽת-הַכֵּלִים׀ אֲשֶׁר עַל-הַשֻּׁלְחָן אֶת-קְעָֽרֹתָיו וְאֶת-כַּפֹּתָיו וְאֵת מְנַקִּיֹּתָיו וְאֶת-הַקְּשָׂוֹת אֲשֶׁר יֻסַּךְ בָּהֵן זָהָב טָהֽוֹר׃
And he made the vessels which were upon the table, his dishes, and his spoons, and his bowls, and his covers to cover withal, of pure gold.
כִּכָּר זָהָב טָהוֹר עָשָׂה אֹתָהּ וְאֵת כָּל-כֵּלֶֽיהָ׃
Of a talent of pure gold made he it, and all the vessels thereof.
וַיַּעַשׂ אֶֽת-כָּל-כְּלֵי הַמִּזְבֵּחַ אֶת-הַסִּירֹת וְאֶת-הַיָּעִים וְאֶת-הַמִּזְרָקֹת אֶת-הַמִּזְלָגֹת וְאֶת-הַמַּחְתֹּת כָּל-כֵּלָיו עָשָׂה נְחֹֽשֶׁת׃
And he made all the vessels of the altar, the pots, and the shovels, and the basons, and the fleshhooks, and the firepans: all the vessels thereof made he of brass.
וַיַּעַשׂ בָּהּ אֶת-אַדְנֵי פֶּתַח אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד וְאֵת מִזְבַּח הַנְּחֹשֶׁת וְאֶת-מִכְבַּר הַנְּחֹשֶׁת אֲשֶׁר-לוֹ וְאֵת כָּל-כְּלֵי הַמִּזְבֵּֽחַ׃
And therewith he made the sockets to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and the brasen altar, and the brasen grate for it, and all the vessels of the altar,
וַיָּבִיאוּ אֶת-הַמִּשְׁכָּן אֶל-מֹשֶׁה אֶת-הָאֹהֶל וְאֶת-כָּל-כֵּלָיו קְרָסָיו קְרָשָׁיו (בריחו) בְּרִיחָיו וְעַמֻּדָיו וַֽאֲדָנָֽיו׃
And they brought the tabernacle unto Moses, the tent, and all his furniture, his taches, his boards, his bars, and his pillars, and his sockets,
אֶת-הַשֻּׁלְחָן אֶת-כָּל-כֵּלָיו וְאֵת לֶחֶם הַפָּנִֽים׃
The table, and all the vessels thereof, and the shewbread,
אֶת-הַמְּנֹרָה הַטְּהֹרָה אֶת-נֵֽרֹתֶיהָ נֵרֹת הַמַּֽעֲרָכָה וְאֶת-כָּל-כֵּלֶיהָ וְאֵת שֶׁמֶן הַמָּאֽוֹר׃
The pure candlestick, with the lamps thereof, even with the lamps to be set in order, and all the vessels thereof, and the oil for light,
אֵת׀ מִזְבַּח הַנְּחֹשֶׁת וְאֶת-מִכְבַּר הַנְּחֹשֶׁת אֲשֶׁר-לוֹ אֶת-בַּדָּיו וְאֶת-כָּל-כֵּלָיו אֶת-הַכִּיֹּר וְאֶת-כַּנּֽוֹ׃
The brasen altar, and his grate of brass, his staves, and all his vessels, the laver and his foot,
אֵת קַלְעֵי הֶֽחָצֵר אֶת-עַמֻּדֶיהָ וְאֶת-אֲדָנֶיהָ וְאֶת-הַמָּסָךְ לְשַׁעַר הֶֽחָצֵר אֶת-מֵֽיתָרָיו וִיתֵֽדֹתֶיהָ וְאֵת כָּל-כְּלֵי עֲבֹדַת הַמִּשְׁכָּן לְאֹהֶל מוֹעֵֽד׃
The hangings of the court, his pillars, and his sockets, and the hanging for the court gate, his cords, and his pins, and all the vessels of the service of the tabernacle, for the tent of the congregation,
וְלָֽקַחְתָּ אֶת-שֶׁמֶן הַמִּשְׁחָה וּמָֽשַׁחְתָּ אֶת-הַמִּשְׁכָּן וְאֶת-כָּל-אֲשֶׁר-בּוֹ וְקִדַּשְׁתָּ אֹתוֹ וְאֶת-כָּל-כֵּלָיו וְהָיָה קֹֽדֶשׁ׃
And thou shalt take the anointing oil, and anoint the tabernacle, and all that is therein, and shalt hallow it, and all the vessels thereof: and it shall be holy.
וּמָֽשַׁחְתָּ אֶת-מִזְבַּח הָֽעֹלָה וְאֶת-כָּל-כֵּלָיו וְקִדַּשְׁתָּ אֶת-הַמִּזְבֵּחַ וְהָיָה הַמִּזְבֵּחַ קֹדֶשׁ קָֽדָשִֽׁים׃
And thou shalt anoint the altar of the burnt offering, and all his vessels, and sanctify the altar: and it shall be an altar most holy.
וּכְלִי-חֶרֶשׂ אֲשֶׁר תְּבֻשַּׁל-בּוֹ יִשָּׁבֵר וְאִם-בִּכְלִי נְחֹשֶׁת בֻּשָּׁלָה וּמֹרַק וְשֻׁטַּף בַּמָּֽיִם׃
But the earthen vessel wherein it is sodden shall be broken: and if it be sodden in a brasen pot, it shall be both scoured, and rinsed in water.
וַיַּז מִמֶּנּוּ עַל-הַמִּזְבֵּחַ שֶׁבַע פְּעָמִים וַיִּמְשַׁח אֶת-הַמִּזְבֵּחַ וְאֶת-כָּל-כֵּלָיו וְאֶת-הַכִּיֹּר וְאֶת-כַּנּוֹ לְקַדְּשָֽׁם׃
And he sprinkled thereof upon the altar seven times, and anointed the altar and all his vessels, both the laver and his foot, to sanctify them.
וְכֹל אֲשֶׁר-יִפֹּל-עָלָיו מֵהֶם׀ בְּמֹתָם יִטְמָא מִכָּל-כְּלִי-עֵץ אוֹ בֶגֶד אוֹ-עוֹר אוֹ שָׂק כָּל-כְּלִי אֲשֶׁר-יֵֽעָשֶׂה מְלָאכָה בָּהֶם בַּמַּיִם יוּבָא וְטָמֵא עַד-הָעֶרֶב וְטָהֵֽר׃
And upon whatsoever any of them, when they are dead, doth fall, it shall be unclean; whether it be any vessel of wood, or raiment, or skin, or sack, whatsoever vessel it be, wherein any work is done, it must be put into water, and it shall be unclean until the even; so it shall be cleansed.
וְכָל-כְּלִי-חֶרֶשׂ אֲשֶׁר-יִפֹּל מֵהֶם אֶל-תּוֹכוֹ כֹּל אֲשֶׁר בְּתוֹכוֹ יִטְמָא וְאֹתוֹ תִשְׁבֹּֽרוּ׃
And every earthen vessel, whereinto any of them falleth, whatsoever is in it shall be unclean; and ye shall break it.
מִכָּל-הָאֹכֶל אֲשֶׁר יֵֽאָכֵל אֲשֶׁר יָבוֹא עָלָיו מַיִם יִטְמָא וְכָל-מַשְׁקֶה אֲשֶׁר יִשָּׁתֶה בְּכָל-כְּלִי יִטְמָֽא׃
Of all meat which may be eaten, that on which such water cometh shall be unclean: and all drink that may be drunk in every such vessel shall be unclean.
וְהָיָה הַנֶּגַע יְרַקְרַק׀ אוֹ אֲדַמְדָּם בַּבֶּגֶד אוֹ בָעוֹר אֽוֹ-בַשְּׁתִי אוֹ-בָעֵרֶב אוֹ בְכָל-כְּלִי-עוֹר נֶגַע צָרַעַת הוּא וְהָרְאָה אֶת-הַכֹּהֵֽן׃
And if the plague be greenish or reddish in the garment, or in the skin, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in any thing of skin; it is a plague of leprosy, and shall be shewed unto the priest:
וְשָׂרַף אֶת-הַבֶּגֶד אוֹ אֶֽת-הַשְּׁתִי׀ אוֹ אֶת-הָעֵרֶב בַּצֶּמֶר אוֹ בַפִּשְׁתִּים אוֹ אֶת-כָּל-כְּלִי הָעוֹר אֲשֶׁר-יִֽהְיֶה בוֹ הַנָּגַע כִּֽי-צָרַעַת מַמְאֶרֶת הִוא בָּאֵשׁ תִּשָּׂרֵֽף׃
He shall therefore burn that garment, whether warp or woof, in woollen or in linen, or any thing of skin, wherein the plague is: for it is a fretting leprosy; it shall be burnt in the fire.
וְאִם יִרְאֶה הַכֹּהֵן וְהִנֵּה לֹֽא-פָשָׂה הַנֶּגַע בַּבֶּגֶד אוֹ בַשְּׁתִי אוֹ בָעֵרֶב אוֹ בְּכָל-כְּלִי-עֽוֹר׃
And if the priest shall look, and, behold, the plague be not spread in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in any thing of skin;
וְאִם-תֵּֽרָאֶה עוֹד בַּבֶּגֶד אֽוֹ-בַשְּׁתִי אֽוֹ-בָעֵרֶב אוֹ בְכָל-כְּלִי-עוֹר פֹּרַחַת הִוא בָּאֵשׁ תִּשְׂרְפֶנּוּ אֵת אֲשֶׁר-בּוֹ הַנָּֽגַע׃
And if it appear still in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in any thing of skin; it is a spreading plague: thou shalt burn that wherein the plague is with fire.
וְהַבֶּגֶד אֽוֹ-הַשְּׁתִי אֽוֹ-הָעֵרֶב אֽוֹ-כָל-כְּלִי הָעוֹר אֲשֶׁר תְּכַבֵּס וְסָר מֵהֶם הַנָּגַע וְכֻבַּס שֵׁנִית וְטָהֵֽר׃
And the garment, either warp, or woof, or whatsoever thing of skin it be, which thou shalt wash, if the plague be departed from them, then it shall be washed the second time, and shall be clean.
זֹאת תּוֹרַת נֶֽגַע-צָרַעַת בֶּגֶד הַצֶּמֶר׀ אוֹ הַפִּשְׁתִּים אוֹ הַשְּׁתִי אוֹ הָעֵרֶב אוֹ כָּל-כְּלִי-עוֹר לְטַֽהֲרוֹ אוֹ לְטַמְּאֽוֹ׃
This is the law of the plague of leprosy in a garment of woollen or linen, either in the warp, or woof, or any thing of skins, to pronounce it clean, or to pronounce it unclean.
וְצִוָּה הַכֹּהֵן וְשָׁחַט אֶת-הַצִּפּוֹר הָֽאֶחָת אֶל-כְּלִי-חֶרֶשׂ עַל-מַיִם חַיִּֽים׃
And the priest shall command that one of the birds be killed in an earthen vessel over running water:
וְשָׁחַט אֶת-הַצִּפֹּר הָֽאֶחָת אֶל-כְּלִי-חֶרֶשׂ עַל-מַיִם חַיִּֽים׃
And he shall kill the one of the birds in an earthen vessel over running water:
כָּל-הַמִּשְׁכָּב אֲשֶׁר יִשְׁכַּב עָלָיו הַזָּב יִטְמָא וְכָֽל-הַכְּלִי אֲשֶׁר-יֵשֵׁב עָלָיו יִטְמָֽא׃
Every bed, whereon he lieth that hath the issue, is unclean: and every thing, whereon he sitteth, shall be unclean.
וְהַיֹּשֵׁב עַֽל-הַכְּלִי אֲשֶׁר-יֵשֵׁב עָלָיו הַזָּב יְכַבֵּס בְּגָדָיו וְרָחַץ בַּמַּיִם וְטָמֵא עַד-הָעָֽרֶב׃
And he that sitteth on any thing whereon he sat that hath the issue shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
וּכְלִי-חֶרֶשׂ אֲשֶׁר-יִגַּע-בּוֹ הַזָּב יִשָּׁבֵר וְכָל-כְּלִי-עֵץ יִשָּׁטֵף בַּמָּֽיִם׃
And the vessel of earth, that he toucheth which hath the issue, shall be broken: and every vessel of wood shall be rinsed in water.
וְכָל-הַנֹּגֵעַ בְּכָל-כְּלִי אֲשֶׁר-תֵּשֵׁב עָלָיו יְכַבֵּס בְּגָדָיו וְרָחַץ בַּמַּיִם וְטָמֵא עַד-הָעָֽרֶב׃
And whosoever toucheth any thing that she sat upon shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
וְאִם עַֽל-הַמִּשְׁכָּב הוּא אוֹ עַֽל-הַכְּלִי אֲשֶׁר-הִוא יֹשֶֽׁבֶת-עָלָיו בְּנָגְעוֹ-בוֹ יִטְמָא עַד-הָעָֽרֶב׃
And if it be on her bed, or on any thing whereon she sitteth, when he toucheth it, he shall be unclean until the even.
כָּל-הַמִּשְׁכָּב אֲשֶׁר-תִּשְׁכַּב עָלָיו כָּל-יְמֵי זוֹבָהּ כְּמִשְׁכַּב נִדָּתָהּ יִֽהְיֶה-לָּהּ וְכָֽל-הַכְּלִי אֲשֶׁר תֵּשֵׁב עָלָיו טָמֵא יִֽהְיֶה כְּטֻמְאַת נִדָּתָֽהּ׃
Every bed whereon she lieth all the days of her issue shall be unto her as the bed of her separation: and whatsoever she sitteth upon shall be unclean, as the uncleanness of her separation.
וְאַתָּה הַפְקֵד אֶת-הַלְוִיִּם עַל-מִשְׁכַּן הָֽעֵדֻת וְעַל כָּל-כֵּלָיו וְעַל כָּל-אֲשֶׁר-לוֹ הֵמָּה יִשְׂאוּ אֶת-הַמִּשְׁכָּן וְאֶת-כָּל-כֵּלָיו וְהֵם יְשָֽׁרְתֻהוּ וְסָבִיב לַמִּשְׁכָּן יַֽחֲנֽוּ׃
But thou shalt appoint the Levites over the tabernacle of testimony, and over all the vessels thereof, and over all things that belong to it: they shall bear the tabernacle, and all the vessels thereof; and they shall minister unto it, and shall encamp round about the tabernacle.
וְשָֽׁמְרוּ אֶֽת-כָּל-כְּלֵי אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד וְאֶת-מִשְׁמֶרֶת בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל לַֽעֲבֹד אֶת-עֲבֹדַת הַמִּשְׁכָּֽן׃
And they shall keep all the instruments of the tabernacle of the congregation, and the charge of the children of Israel, to do the service of the tabernacle.
וּמִשְׁמַרְתָּם הָֽאָרֹן וְהַשֻּׁלְחָן וְהַמְּנֹרָה וְהַֽמִּזְבְּחֹת וּכְלֵי הַקֹּדֶשׁ אֲשֶׁר יְשָֽׁרְתוּ בָּהֶם וְהַמָּסָךְ וְכֹל עֲבֹֽדָתֽוֹ׃
And their charge shall be the ark, and the table, and the candlestick, and the altars, and the vessels of the sanctuary wherewith they minister, and the hanging, and all the service thereof.
וּפְקֻדַּת מִשְׁמֶרֶת בְּנֵי מְרָרִי קַרְשֵׁי הַמִּשְׁכָּן וּבְרִיחָיו וְעַמֻּדָיו וַֽאֲדָנָיו וְכָל-כֵּלָיו וְכֹל עֲבֹֽדָתֽוֹ׃
And under the custody and charge of the sons of Merari shall be the boards of the tabernacle, and the bars thereof, and the pillars thereof, and the sockets thereof, and all the vessels thereof, and all that serveth thereto,
וְלָֽקְחוּ׀ בֶּגֶד תְּכֵלֶת וְכִסּוּ אֶת-מְנֹרַת הַמָּאוֹר וְאֶת-נֵרֹתֶיהָ וְאֶת-מַלְקָחֶיהָ וְאֶת-מַחְתֹּתֶיהָ וְאֵת כָּל-כְּלֵי שַׁמְנָהּ אֲשֶׁר יְשָֽׁרְתוּ-לָהּ בָּהֶֽם׃
And they shall take a cloth of blue, and cover the candlestick of the light, and his lamps, and his tongs, and his snuffdishes, and all the oil vessels thereof, wherewith they minister unto it:
וְנָֽתְנוּ אֹתָהּ וְאֶת-כָּל-כֵּלֶיהָ אֶל-מִכְסֵה עוֹר תָּחַשׁ וְנָֽתְנוּ עַל-הַמּֽוֹט׃
And they shall put it and all the vessels thereof within a covering of badgers' skins, and shall put it upon a bar.
וְלָֽקְחוּ אֶת-כָּל-כְּלֵי הַשָּׁרֵת אֲשֶׁר יְשָֽׁרְתוּ-בָם בַּקֹּדֶשׁ וְנָֽתְנוּ אֶל-בֶּגֶד תְּכֵלֶת וְכִסּוּ אוֹתָם בְּמִכְסֵה עוֹר תָּחַשׁ וְנָֽתְנוּ עַל-הַמּֽוֹט׃
And they shall take all the instruments of ministry, wherewith they minister in the sanctuary, and put them in a cloth of blue, and cover them with a covering of badgers' skins, and shall put them on a bar:
וְנָֽתְנוּ עָלָיו אֶֽת-כָּל-כֵּלָיו אֲשֶׁר יְֽשָׁרְתוּ עָלָיו בָּהֶם אֶת-הַמַּחְתֹּת אֶת-הַמִּזְלָגֹת וְאֶת-הַיָּעִים וְאֶת-הַמִּזְרָקֹת כֹּל כְּלֵי הַמִּזְבֵּחַ וּפָֽרְשׂוּ עָלָיו כְּסוּי עוֹר תַּחַשׁ וְשָׂמוּ בַדָּֽיו׃
And they shall put upon it all the vessels thereof, wherewith they minister about it, even the censers, the fleshhooks, and the shovels, and the basons, all the vessels of the altar; and they shall spread upon it a covering of badgers' skins, and put to the staves of it.
וְכִלָּה אַֽהֲרֹן-וּבָנָיו לְכַסֹּת אֶת-הַקֹּדֶשׁ וְאֶת-כָּל-כְּלֵי הַקֹּדֶשׁ בִּנְסֹעַ הַֽמַּחֲנֶה וְאַֽחֲרֵי-כֵן יָבֹאוּ בְנֵֽי-קְהָת לָשֵׂאת וְלֹֽא-יִגְּעוּ אֶל-הַקֹּדֶשׁ וָמֵתוּ אֵלֶּה מַשָּׂא בְנֵֽי-קְהָת בְּאֹהֶל מוֹעֵֽד׃
And when Aaron and his sons have made an end of covering the sanctuary, and all the vessels of the sanctuary, as the camp is to set forward; after that, the sons of Kohath shall come to bear it: but they shall not touch any holy thing, lest they die. These things are the burden of the sons of Kohath in the tabernacle of the congregation.
וּפְקֻדַּת אֶלְעָזָר׀ בֶּן-אַֽהֲרֹן הַכֹּהֵן שֶׁמֶן הַמָּאוֹר וּקְטֹרֶת הַסַּמִּים וּמִנְחַת הַתָּמִיד וְשֶׁמֶן הַמִּשְׁחָה פְּקֻדַּת כָּל-הַמִּשְׁכָּן וְכָל-אֲשֶׁר-בּוֹ בְּקֹדֶשׁ וּבְכֵלָֽיו׃
And to the office of Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest pertaineth the oil for the light, and the sweet incense, and the daily meat offering, and the anointing oil, and the oversight of all the tabernacle, and of all that therein is, in the sanctuary, and in the vessels thereof.
וְאֵת קַלְעֵי הֶֽחָצֵר וְאֶת-מָסַךְ׀ פֶּתַח׀ שַׁעַר הֶֽחָצֵר אֲשֶׁר עַל-הַמִּשְׁכָּן וְעַל-הַמִּזְבֵּחַ סָבִיב וְאֵת מֵֽיתְרֵיהֶם וְאֶֽת-כָּל-כְּלֵי עֲבֹֽדָתָם וְאֵת כָּל-אֲשֶׁר יֵֽעָשֶׂה לָהֶם וְעָבָֽדוּ׃
And the hangings of the court, and the hanging for the door of the gate of the court, which is by the tabernacle and by the altar round about, and their cords, and all the instruments of their service, and all that is made for them: so shall they serve.
וְעַמּוּדֵי הֶֽחָצֵר סָבִיב וְאַדְנֵיהֶם וִיתֵֽדֹתָם וּמֵיתְרֵיהֶם לְכָל-כְּלֵיהֶם וּלְכֹל עֲבֹֽדָתָם וּבְשֵׁמֹת תִּפְקְדוּ אֶת-כְּלֵי מִשְׁמֶרֶת מַשָּׂאָֽם׃
And the pillars of the court round about, and their sockets, and their pins, and their cords, with all their instruments, and with all their service: and by name ye shall reckon the instruments of the charge of their burden.
וְלָקַח הַכֹּהֵן מַיִם קְדֹשִׁים בִּכְלִי-חָרֶשׂ וּמִן-הֶֽעָפָר אֲשֶׁר יִֽהְיֶה בְּקַרְקַע הַמִּשְׁכָּן יִקַּח הַכֹּהֵן וְנָתַן אֶל-הַמָּֽיִם׃
And the priest shall take holy water in an earthen vessel; and of the dust that is in the floor of the tabernacle the priest shall take, and put it into the water:
וַיְהִי בְּיוֹם כַּלּוֹת מֹשֶׁה לְהָקִים אֶת-הַמִּשְׁכָּן וַיִּמְשַׁח אֹתוֹ וַיְקַדֵּשׁ אֹתוֹ וְאֶת-כָּל-כֵּלָיו וְאֶת-הַמִּזְבֵּחַ וְאֶת-כָּל-כֵּלָיו וַיִּמְשָׁחֵם וַיְקַדֵּשׁ אֹתָֽם׃
And it came to pass on the day that Moses had fully set up the tabernacle, and had anointed it, and sanctified it, and all the instruments thereof, both the altar and all the vessels thereof, and had anointed them, and sanctified them;
שְׁלֹשִׁים וּמֵאָה הַקְּעָרָה הָֽאַחַת כֶּסֶף וְשִׁבְעִים הַמִּזְרָק הָֽאֶחָד כֹּל כֶּסֶף הַכֵּלִים אַלְפַּיִם וְאַרְבַּע-מֵאוֹת בְּשֶׁקֶל הַקֹּֽדֶשׁ׃
Each charger of silver weighing an hundred and thirty shekels, each bowl seventy: all the silver vessels weighed two thousand and four hundred shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary:
וְשָֽׁמְרוּ מִֽשְׁמַרְתְּךָ וּמִשְׁמֶרֶת כָּל-הָאֹהֶל אַךְ אֶל-כְּלֵי הַקֹּדֶשׁ וְאֶל-הַמִּזְבֵּחַ לֹא יִקְרָבוּ וְלֹֽא-יָמֻתוּ גַם-הֵם גַּם-אַתֶּֽם׃
And they shall keep thy charge, and the charge of all the tabernacle: only they shall not come nigh the vessels of the sanctuary and the altar, that neither they, nor ye also, die.
וְכֹל כְּלִי פָתוּחַ אֲשֶׁר אֵין-צָמִיד פָּתִיל עָלָיו טָמֵא הֽוּא׃
And every open vessel, which hath no covering bound upon it, is unclean.
וְלָֽקְחוּ לַטָּמֵא מֵֽעֲפַר שְׂרֵפַת הַֽחַטָּאת וְנָתַן עָלָיו מַיִם חַיִּים אֶל-כֶּֽלִי׃
And for an unclean person they shall take of the ashes of the burnt heifer of purification for sin, and running water shall be put thereto in a vessel:
וְלָקַח אֵזוֹב וְטָבַל בַּמַּיִם אִישׁ טָהוֹר וְהִזָּה עַל-הָאֹהֶל וְעַל-כָּל-הַכֵּלִים וְעַל-הַנְּפָשׁוֹת אֲשֶׁר הָֽיוּ-שָׁם וְעַל-הַנֹּגֵעַ בַּעֶצֶם אוֹ בֶֽחָלָל אוֹ בַמֵּת אוֹ בַקָּֽבֶר׃
And a clean person shall take hyssop, and dip it in the water, and sprinkle it upon the tent, and upon all the vessels, and upon the persons that were there, and upon him that touched a bone, or one slain, or one dead, or a grave:
וַיִּשְׁלַח אֹתָם מֹשֶׁה אֶלֶף לַמַּטֶּה לַצָּבָא אֹתָם וְאֶת-פִּינְחָס בֶּן-אֶלְעָזָר הַכֹּהֵן לַצָּבָא וּכְלֵי הַקֹּדֶשׁ וַחֲצֹֽצְרוֹת הַתְּרוּעָה בְּיָדֽוֹ׃
And Moses sent them to the war, a thousand of every tribe, them and Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest, to the war, with the holy instruments, and the trumpets to blow in his hand.
וְכָל-בֶּגֶד וְכָל-כְּלִי-עוֹר וְכָל-מַֽעֲשֵׂה עִזִּים וְכָל-כְּלִי-עֵץ תִּתְחַטָּֽאוּ׃
And purify all your raiment, and all that is made of skins, and all work of goats' hair, and all things made of wood.
וַנַּקְרֵב אֶת-קָרְבַּן יְהוָה אִישׁ אֲשֶׁר מָצָא כְלִֽי-זָהָב אֶצְעָדָה וְצָמִיד טַבַּעַת עָגִיל וְכוּמָז לְכַפֵּר עַל-נַפְשֹׁתֵינוּ לִפְנֵי יְהוָֽה׃
We have therefore brought an oblation for the LORD, what every man hath gotten, of jewels of gold, chains, and bracelets, rings, earrings, and tablets, to make an atonement for our souls before the LORD.
וַיִּקַּח מֹשֶׁה וְאֶלְעָזָר הַכֹּהֵן אֶת-הַזָּהָב מֵֽאִתָּם כֹּל כְּלִי מַֽעֲשֶֽׂה׃
And Moses and Eleazar the priest took the gold of them, even all wrought jewels.
וְאִם-בִּכְלִי בַרְזֶל׀ הִכָּהוּ וַיָּמֹת רֹצֵחַֽ הוּא מוֹת יוּמַת הָֽרֹצֵֽחַ׃
And if he smite him with an instrument of iron, so that he die, he is a murderer: the murderer shall surely be put to death.
אוֹ בִּכְלִי עֵֽץ-יָד אֲשֶׁר-יָמוּת בּוֹ הִכָּהוּ וַיָּמֹת רֹצֵחַֽ הוּא מוֹת יוּמַת הָֽרֹצֵֽחַ׃
Or if he smite him with an hand weapon of wood, wherewith he may die, and he die, he is a murderer: the murderer shall surely be put to death.
וְאִם-בְּפֶתַע בְּלֹֽא-אֵיבָה הֲדָפוֹ אוֹ-הִשְׁלִיךְ עָלָיו כָּל-כְּלִי בְּלֹא צְדִיָּֽה׃
But if he thrust him suddenly without enmity, or have cast upon him any thing without laying of wait,
וַֽתַּעֲנוּ׀ וַתֹּֽאמְרוּ אֵלַי חָטָאנוּ לַֽיהוָה אֲנַחְנוּ נַֽעֲלֶה וְנִלְחַמְנוּ כְּכֹל אֲשֶׁר-צִוָּנוּ יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ וַֽתַּחְגְּרוּ אִישׁ אֶת-כְּלֵי מִלְחַמְתּוֹ וַתָּהִינוּ לַֽעֲלֹת הָהָֽרָה׃
Then ye answered and said unto me, We have sinned against the LORD, we will go up and fight, according to all that the LORD our God commanded us. And when ye had girded on every man his weapons of war, ye were ready to go up into the hill.
לֹֽא-יִהְיֶה כְלִי-גֶבֶר עַל-אִשָּׁה וְלֹֽא-יִלְבַּשׁ גֶּבֶר שִׂמְלַת אִשָּׁה כִּי תֽוֹעֲבַת יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ כָּל-עֹשֵׂה אֵֽלֶּה׃
The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the LORD thy God.
כִּי תָבֹא בְּכֶרֶם רֵעֶךָ וְאָֽכַלְתָּ עֲנָבִים כְּנַפְשְׁךָ שָׂבְעֶךָ וְאֶֽל-כֶּלְיְךָ לֹא תִתֵּֽן׃
When thou comest into thy neighbour's vineyard, then thou mayest eat grapes thy fill at thine own pleasure; but thou shalt not put any in thy vessel.
וְכֹל׀ כֶּסֶף וְזָהָב וּכְלֵי נְחֹשֶׁת וּבַרְזֶל קֹדֶשׁ הוּא לַֽיהוָה אוֹצַר יְהוָה יָבֽוֹא׃
But all the silver, and gold, and vessels of brass and iron, are consecrated unto the LORD: they shall come into the treasury of the LORD.
וְהָעִיר שָֽׂרְפוּ בָאֵשׁ וְכָל-אֲשֶׁר-בָּהּ רַק׀ הַכֶּסֶף וְהַזָּהָב וּכְלֵי הַנְּחֹשֶׁת וְהַבַּרְזֶל נָֽתְנוּ אוֹצַר בֵּית-יְהוָֽה׃
And they burnt the city with fire, and all that was therein: only the silver, and the gold, and the vessels of brass and of iron, they put into the treasury of the house of the LORD.
חָטָא יִשְׂרָאֵל וְגַם עָֽבְרוּ אֶת-בְּרִיתִי אֲשֶׁר צִוִּיתִי אוֹתָם וְגַם לָֽקְחוּ מִן-הַחֵרֶם וְגַם גָּֽנְבוּ וְגַם כִּֽחֲשׁוּ וְגַם שָׂמוּ בִכְלֵיהֶֽם׃
Israel hath sinned, and they have also transgressed my covenant which I commanded them: for they have even taken of the accursed thing, and have also stolen, and dissembled also, and they have put it even among their own stuff.
וַיִּקְרָא מְהֵרָה אֶל-הַנַּעַר׀ נֹשֵׂא כֵלָיו וַיֹּאמֶר לוֹ שְׁלֹף חַרְבְּךָ וּמוֹתְתֵנִי פֶּן-יֹאמְרוּ לִי אִשָּׁה הֲרָגָתְהוּ וַיִּדְקְרֵהוּ נַֽעֲרוֹ וַיָּמֹֽת׃
Then he called hastily unto the young man his armourbearer, and said unto him, Draw thy sword, and slay me, that men say not of me, A woman slew him. And his young man thrust him through, and he died.
וַיִּסְעוּ מִשָּׁם מִמִּשְׁפַּחַת הַדָּנִי מִצָּרְעָה וּמֵֽאֶשְׁתָּאֹל שֵֽׁשׁ-מֵאוֹת אִישׁ חָגוּר כְּלֵי מִלְחָמָֽה׃
And there went from thence of the family of the Danites, out of Zorah and out of Eshtaol, six hundred men appointed with weapons of war.
וְשֵׁשׁ-מֵאוֹת אִישׁ חֲגוּרִים כְּלֵי מִלְחַמְתָּם נִצָּבִים פֶּתַח הַשָּׁעַר אֲשֶׁר מִבְּנֵי-דָֽן׃
And the six hundred men appointed with their weapons of war, which were of the children of Dan, stood by the entering of the gate.
וַֽיַּעֲלוּ חֲמֵשֶׁת הָֽאֲנָשִׁים הַהֹֽלְכִים לְרַגֵּל אֶת-הָאָרֶץ בָּאוּ שָׁמָּה לָֽקְחוּ אֶת-הַפֶּסֶל וְאֶת-הָאֵפוֹד וְאֶת-הַתְּרָפִים וְאֶת-הַמַּסֵּכָה וְהַכֹּהֵן נִצָּב פֶּתַח הַשַּׁעַר וְשֵׁשׁ-מֵאוֹת הָאִישׁ הֶֽחָגוּר כְּלֵי הַמִּלְחָמָֽה׃
And the five men that went to spy out the land went up, and came in thither, and took the graven image, and the ephod, and the teraphim, and the molten image: and the priest stood in the entering of the gate with the six hundred men that were appointed with weapons of war.
עֵינַיִךְ בַּשָּׂדֶה אֲשֶׁר-יִקְצֹרוּן וְהָלַכְתְּ אַֽחֲרֵיהֶן הֲלוֹא צִוִּיתִי אֶת-הַנְּעָרִים לְבִלְתִּי נָגְעֵךְ וְצָמִת וְהָֽלַכְתְּ אֶל-הַכֵּלִים וְשָׁתִית מֵֽאֲשֶׁר יִשְׁאֲבוּן הַנְּעָרִֽים׃
Let thine eyes be on the field that they do reap, and go thou after them: have I not charged the young men that they shall not touch thee? and when thou art athirst, go unto the vessels, and drink of that which the young men have drawn.
וּלְקַחְתֶּם אֶת-אֲרוֹן יְהוָה וּנְתַתֶּם אֹתוֹ אֶל-הָעֲגָלָה וְאֵת׀ כְּלֵי הַזָּהָב אֲשֶׁר הֲשֵֽׁבֹתֶם לוֹ אָשָׁם תָּשִׂימוּ בָֽאַרְגַּז מִצִּדּוֹ וְשִׁלַּחְתֶּם אֹתוֹ וְהָלָֽךְ׃
And take the ark of the LORD, and lay it upon the cart; and put the jewels of gold, which ye return him for a trespass offering, in a coffer by the side thereof; and send it away, that it may go.
וְהַלְוִיִּם הוֹרִידוּ׀ אֶת-אֲרוֹן יְהוָה וְאֶת-הָֽאַרְגַּז אֲשֶׁר-אִתּוֹ אֲשֶׁר-בּוֹ כְלֵֽי-זָהָב וַיָּשִׂמוּ אֶל-הָאֶבֶן הַגְּדוֹלָה וְאַנְשֵׁי בֵֽית-שֶׁמֶשׁ הֶֽעֱלוּ עֹלוֹת וַֽיִּזְבְּחוּ זְבָחִים בַּיּוֹם הַהוּא לַֽיהוָֽה׃
And the Levites took down the ark of the LORD, and the coffer that was with it, wherein the jewels of gold were, and put them on the great stone: and the men of Beth-shemesh offered burnt offerings and sacrificed sacrifices the same day unto the LORD.
וְלָשׂוּם לוֹ שָׂרֵי אֲלָפִים וְשָׂרֵי חֲמִשִּׁים וְלַֽחֲרֹשׁ חֲרִישׁוֹ וְלִקְצֹר קְצִירוֹ וְלַֽעֲשׂוֹת כְּלֵֽי-מִלְחַמְתּוֹ וּכְלֵי רִכְבּֽוֹ׃
And he will appoint him captains over thousands, and captains over fifties; and will set them to ear his ground, and to reap his harvest, and to make his instruments of war, and instruments of his chariots.
וַיֹּאמֶר שָׁאוּל לְנַֽעֲרוֹ וְהִנֵּה נֵלֵךְ וּמַה-נָּבִיא לָאִישׁ כִּי הַלֶּחֶם אָזַל מִכֵּלֵינוּ וּתְשׁוּרָה אֵין-לְהָבִיא לְאִישׁ הָֽאֱלֹהִים מָה אִתָּֽנוּ׃
Then said Saul to his servant, But, behold, if we go, what shall we bring the man? for the bread is spent in our vessels, and there is not a present to bring to the man of God: what have we?
וַיִּשְׁאֲלוּ-עוֹד בַּֽיהוָה הֲבָא עוֹד הֲלֹם אִישׁ וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה הִנֵּה-הוּא נֶחְבָּא אֶל-הַכֵּלִֽים׃
Therefore they inquired of the LORD further, if the man should yet come thither. And the LORD answered, Behold, he hath hid himself among the stuff.
וַיְהִי הַיּוֹם וַיֹּאמֶר יֽוֹנָתָן בֶּן-שָׁאוּל אֶל-הַנַּעַר נֹשֵׂא כֵלָיו לְכָה וְנַעְבְּרָה אֶל-מַצַּב פְּלִשְׁתִּים אֲשֶׁר מֵעֵבֶר הַלָּז וּלְאָבִיו לֹא הִגִּֽיד׃
Now it came to pass upon a day, that Jonathan the son of Saul said unto the young man that bare his armour, Come, and let us go over to the Philistines' garrison, that is on the other side. But he told not his father.
וַיֹּאמֶר יְהֽוֹנָתָן אֶל-הַנַּעַר׀ נֹשֵׂא כֵלָיו לְכָה וְנַעְבְּרָה אֶל-מַצַּב הָֽעֲרֵלִים הָאֵלֶּה אוּלַי יַֽעֲשֶׂה יְהוָה לָנוּ כִּי אֵין לַֽיהוָה מַעְצוֹר לְהוֹשִׁיעַ בְּרַב אוֹ בִמְעָֽט׃
And Jonathan said to the young man that bare his armour, Come, and let us go over unto the garrison of these uncircumcised: it may be that the LORD will work for us: for there is no restraint to the LORD to save by many or by few.
וַיֹּאמֶר לוֹ נֹשֵׂא כֵלָיו עֲשֵׂה כָּל-אֲשֶׁר בִּלְבָבֶךָ נְטֵה לָךְ הִנְנִי עִמְּךָ כִּלְבָבֶֽךָ׃
And his armourbearer said unto him, Do all that is in thine heart: turn thee; behold, I am with thee according to thy heart.
וַיַּֽעֲנוּ אַנְשֵׁי הַמַּצָּבָה אֶת-יֽוֹנָתָן׀ וְאֶת-נֹשֵׂא כֵלָיו וַיֹּֽאמְרוּ עֲלוּ אֵלֵינוּ וְנוֹדִיעָה אֶתְכֶם דָּבָר וַיֹּאמֶר יֽוֹנָתָן אֶל-נֹשֵׂא כֵלָיו עֲלֵה אַֽחֲרַי כִּֽי-נְתָנָם יְהוָה בְּיַד יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
And the men of the garrison answered Jonathan and his armourbearer, and said, Come up to us, and we will shew you a thing. And Jonathan said unto his armourbearer, Come up after me: for the LORD hath delivered them into the hand of Israel.
