וּכְפֹרֵי זָהָב עֶשְׂרִים לַֽאֲדַרְכֹנִים אָלֶף וּכְלֵי נְחֹשֶׁת מֻצְהָב טוֹבָה שְׁנַיִם חֲמוּדֹת כַּזָּהָֽב׃
Also twenty basons of gold, of a thousand drams; and two vessels of fine copper, precious as gold.
וָאֹֽמְרָה אֲלֵהֶם אַתֶּם קֹדֶשׁ לַֽיהוָה וְהַכֵּלִים קֹדֶשׁ וְהַכֶּסֶף וְהַזָּהָב נְדָבָה לַֽיהוָה אֱלֹהֵי אֲבֹֽתֵיכֶֽם׃
And I said unto them, Ye are holy unto the LORD; the vessels are holy also; and the silver and the gold are a freewill offering unto the LORD God of your fathers.
וְקִבְּלוּ הַכֹּֽהֲנִים וְהַלְוִיִּם מִשְׁקַל הַכֶּסֶף וְהַזָּהָב וְהַכֵּלִים לְהָבִיא לִירֽוּשָׁלִַם לְבֵית אֱלֹהֵֽינוּ׃
So took the priests and the Levites the weight of the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, to bring them to Jerusalem unto the house of our God.
וּבַיּוֹם הָֽרְבִיעִי נִשְׁקַל הַכֶּסֶף וְהַזָּהָב וְהַכֵּלִים בְּבֵית אֱלֹהֵינוּ עַל יַד-מְרֵמוֹת בֶּן-אֽוּרִיָּה הַכֹּהֵן וְעִמּוֹ אֶלְעָזָר בֶּן-פִּֽינְחָס וְעִמָּהֶם יֽוֹזָבָד בֶּן-יֵשׁוּעַ וְנֽוֹעַדְיָה בֶן-בִּנּוּי הַלְוִיִּֽם׃
Now on the fourth day was the silver and the gold and the vessels weighed in the house of our God by the hand of Meremoth the son of Uriah the priest; and with him was Eleazar the son of Phinehas; and with them was Jozabad the son of Jeshua, and Noadiah the son of Binnui, Levites;
כִּי אֶל-הַלְּשָׁכוֹת יָבִיאוּ בְנֵֽי-יִשְׂרָאֵל וּבְנֵי הַלֵּוִי אֶת-תְּרוּמַת הַדָּגָן הַתִּירוֹשׁ וְהַיִּצְהָר וְשָׁם כְּלֵי הַמִּקְדָּשׁ וְהַכֹּֽהֲנִים הַמְשָׁרְתִים וְהַשּֽׁוֹעֲרִים וְהַמְשֹֽׁרְרִים וְלֹא נַֽעֲזֹב אֶת-בֵּית אֱלֹהֵֽינוּ׃
For the children of Israel and the children of Levi shall bring the offering of the corn, of the new wine, and the oil, unto the chambers, where are the vessels of the sanctuary, and the priests that minister, and the porters, and the singers: and we will not forsake the house of our God.
וְֽאֶחָיו שְֽׁמַעְיָה וַֽעֲזַרְאֵל מִֽלֲלַי גִּֽלֲלַי מָעַי נְתַנְאֵל וִֽיהוּדָה חֲנָנִי בִּכְלֵי-שִׁיר דָּוִיד אִישׁ הָֽאֱלֹהִים וְעֶזְרָא הַסּוֹפֵר לִפְנֵיהֶֽם׃
And his brethren, Shemaiah, and Azarael, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nethaneel, and Judah, Hanani, with the musical instruments of David the man of God, and Ezra the scribe before them.
וַיַּעַשׂ לוֹ לִשְׁכָּה גְדוֹלָה וְשָׁם הָיוּ לְפָנִים נֹֽתְנִים אֶת-הַמִּנְחָה הַלְּבוֹנָה וְהַכֵּלִים וּמַעְשַׂר הַדָּגָן הַתִּירוֹשׁ וְהַיִּצְהָר מִצְוַת הַלְוִיִּם וְהַמְשֹֽׁרְרִים וְהַשֹּׁעֲרִים וּתְרוּמַת הַכֹּֽהֲנִֽים׃
And he had prepared for him a great chamber, where aforetime they laid the meat offerings, the frankincense, and the vessels, and the tithes of the corn, the new wine, and the oil, which was commanded to be given to the Levites, and the singers, and the porters; and the offerings of the priests.
וַיֵּרַֽע לִי מְאֹד וָֽאַשְׁלִיכָה אֶֽת-כָּל-כְּלֵי בֵית-טֽוֹבִיָּה הַחוּץ מִן-הַלִּשְׁכָּֽה׃
And it grieved me sore: therefore I cast forth all the household stuff of Tobiah out of the chamber.
וָאֹמְרָה וַֽיְטַהֲרוּ הַלְּשָׁכוֹת וָֽאָשִׁיבָה שָּׁם כְּלֵי בֵּית הָֽאֱלֹהִים אֶת-הַמִּנְחָה וְהַלְּבוֹנָֽה׃
Then I commanded, and they cleansed the chambers: and thither brought I again the vessels of the house of God, with the meat offering and the frankincense.
וְהַשְׁקוֹת בִּכְלֵי זָהָב וְכֵלִים מִכֵּלִים שׁוֹנִים וְיֵין מַלְכוּת רָב כְּיַד הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃
And they gave them drink in vessels of gold, (the vessels being diverse one from another,) and royal wine in abundance, according to the state of the king.
לֹא-יַעַרְכֶנָּה זָהָב וּזְכוֹכִית וּתְמוּרָתָהּ כְּלִי-פָֽז׃
The gold and the crystal cannot equal it: and the exchange of it shall not be for jewels of fine gold.
תְּרֹעֵם בְּשֵׁבֶט בַּרְזֶל כִּכְלִי יוֹצֵר תְּנַפְּצֵֽם׃
Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.
וְלוֹ הֵכִין כְּלֵי-מָוֶת חִצָּיו לְֽדֹלְקִים יִפְעָֽל׃
He hath also prepared for him the instruments of death; he ordaineth his arrows against the persecutors.
נִשְׁכַּחְתִּי כְּמֵת מִלֵּב הָיִיתִי כִּכְלִי אֹבֵֽד׃
I am forgotten as a dead man out of mind: I am like a broken vessel.
גַּם-אֲנִי׀ אוֹדְךָ בִכְלִי-נֶבֶל אֲמִתְּךָ אֱלֹהָי אֲזַמְּרָה לְךָ בְכִנּוֹר קְדוֹשׁ יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
I will also praise thee with the psaltery, even thy truth, O my God: unto thee will I sing with the harp, O thou Holy One of Israel.
יֵשׁ זָהָב וְרָב-פְּנִינִים וּכְלִי יְקָר שִׂפְתֵי-דָֽעַת׃
There is gold, and a multitude of rubies: but the lips of knowledge are a precious jewel.
הָגוֹ סִיגִים מִכָּסֶף וַיֵּצֵא לַצֹּרֵף כֶּֽלִי׃
Take away the dross from the silver, and there shall come forth a vessel for the finer.
טוֹבָה חָכְמָה מִכְּלֵי קְרָב וְחוֹטֶא אֶחָד יְאַבֵּד טוֹבָה הַרְבֵּֽה׃
Wisdom is better than weapons of war: but one sinner destroyeth much good.
בָּא עַל-עַיַּת עָבַר בְּמִגְרוֹן לְמִכְמָשׂ יַפְקִיד כֵּלָֽיו׃
He is come to Aiath, he is passed to Migron; at Michmash he hath laid up his carriages:
בָּאִים מֵאֶרֶץ מֶרְחָק מִקְצֵה הַשָּׁמָיִם יְהוָה וּכְלֵי זַעְמוֹ לְחַבֵּל כָּל-הָאָֽרֶץ׃
They come from a far country, from the end of heaven, even the LORD, and the weapons of his indignation, to destroy the whole land.
הַשֹּׁלֵחַ בַּיָּם צִירִים וּבִכְלֵי-גֹמֶא עַל-פְּנֵי-מַיִם לְכוּ׀ מַלְאָכִים קַלִּים אֶל-גּוֹי מְמֻשָּׁךְ וּמוֹרָט אֶל-עַם נוֹרָא מִן-הוּא וָהָלְאָה גּוֹי קַו-קָו וּמְבוּסָה אֲשֶׁר-בָּזְאוּ נְהָרִים אַרְצֽוֹ׃
That sendeth ambassadors by the sea, even in vessels of bulrushes upon the waters, saying, Go, ye swift messengers, to a nation scattered and peeled, to a people terrible from their beginning hitherto; a nation meted out and trodden down, whose land the rivers have spoiled!
וְתָלוּ עָלָיו כֹּל׀ כְּבוֹד בֵּית-אָבִיו הַצֶּֽאֱצָאִים וְהַצְּפִעוֹת כֹּל כְּלֵי הַקָּטָן מִכְּלֵי הָֽאַגָּנוֹת וְעַד כָּל-כְּלֵי הַנְּבָלִֽים׃
And they shall hang upon him all the glory of his father's house, the offspring and the issue, all vessels of small quantity, from the vessels of cups, even to all the vessels of flagons.
וְכֵלַי כֵּלָיו רָעִים הוּא זִמּוֹת יָעָץ לְחַבֵּל (ענוים) עֲנִיִּים בְּאִמְרֵי-שֶׁקֶר וּבְדַבֵּר אֶבְיוֹן מִשְׁפָּֽט׃
The instruments also of the churl are evil: he deviseth wicked devices to destroy the poor with lying words, even when the needy speaketh right.
וַיִּשְׂמַח עֲלֵיהֶם חִזְקִיָּהוּ וַיַּרְאֵם אֶת-בֵּית (נכתה) נְכֹתוֹ אֶת-הַכֶּסֶף וְאֶת-הַזָּהָב וְאֶת-הַבְּשָׂמִים וְאֵת׀ הַשֶּׁמֶן הַטּוֹב וְאֵת כָּל-בֵּית כֵּלָיו וְאֵת כָּל-אֲשֶׁר נִמְצָא בְּאֹֽצְרֹתָיו לֹֽא-הָיָה דָבָר אֲשֶׁר לֹֽא-הֶרְאָם חִזְקִיָּהוּ בְּבֵיתוֹ וּבְכָל-מֶמְשַׁלְתּֽוֹ׃
And Hezekiah was glad of them, and shewed them the house of his precious things, the silver, and the gold, and the spices, and the precious ointment, and all the house of his armour, and all that was found in his treasures: there was nothing in his house, nor in all his dominion, that Hezekiah shewed them not.
סוּרוּ סוּרוּ צְאוּ מִשָּׁם טָמֵא אַל-תִּגָּעוּ צְאוּ מִתּוֹכָהּ הִבָּרוּ נֹשְׂאֵי כְּלֵי יְהוָֽה׃
Depart ye, depart ye, go ye out from thence, touch no unclean thing; go ye out of the midst of her; be ye clean, that bear the vessels of the LORD.
(הן) הִנֵּה אָֽנֹכִי בָּרָאתִי חָרָשׁ נֹפֵחַ בְּאֵשׁ פֶּחָם וּמוֹצִיא כְלִי לְמַעֲשֵׂהוּ וְאָנֹכִי בָּרָאתִי מַשְׁחִית לְחַבֵּֽל׃
Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy.
כָּל-כְּלִי יוּצַר עָלַיִךְ לֹא יִצְלָח וְכָל-לָשׁוֹן תָּֽקוּם-אִתָּךְ לַמִּשְׁפָּט תַּרְשִׁיעִי זֹאת נַחֲלַת עַבְדֵי יְהוָה וְצִדְקָתָם מֵאִתִּי נְאֻם-יְהוָֽה׃
No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.
שׂוֹשׂ אָשִׂישׂ בַּֽיהוָה תָּגֵל נַפְשִׁי בֵּֽאלֹהַי כִּי הִלְבִּישַׁנִי בִּגְדֵי-יֶשַׁע מְעִיל צְדָקָה יְעָטָנִי כֶּֽחָתָן יְכַהֵן פְּאֵר וְכַכַּלָּה תַּעְדֶּה כֵלֶֽיהָ׃
I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.
הַיֹּֽשְׁבִים בַּקְּבָרִים וּבַנְּצוּרִים יָלִינוּ הָאֹֽכְלִים בְּשַׂר הַחֲזִיר (ופרק) וּמְרַק פִּגֻּלִים כְּלֵיהֶֽם׃
Which remain among the graves, and lodge in the monuments, which eat swine's flesh, and broth of abominable things is in their vessels;
וְהֵבִיאוּ אֶת-כָּל-אֲחֵיכֶם מִכָּל-הַגּוֹיִם׀ מִנְחָה׀ לַֽיהוָה בַּסּוּסִים וּבָרֶכֶב וּבַצַּבִּים וּבַפְּרָדִים וּבַכִּרְכָּרוֹת עַל הַר קָדְשִׁי יְרוּשָׁלִַם אָמַר יְהוָה כַּאֲשֶׁר יָבִיאוּ בְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל אֶת-הַמִּנְחָה בִּכְלִי טָהוֹר בֵּית יְהוָֽה׃
And they shall bring all your brethren for an offering unto the LORD out of all nations upon horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and upon mules, and upon swift beasts, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, saith the LORD, as the children of Israel bring an offering in a clean vessel into the house of the LORD.
וְאַדִּרֵיהֶם שָׁלְחוּ (צעוריהם) צְעִירֵיהֶם לַמָּיִם בָּאוּ עַל-גֵּבִים לֹא-מָצְאוּ מַיִם שָׁבוּ כְלֵיהֶם רֵיקָם בֹּשׁוּ וְהָכְלְמוּ וְחָפוּ רֹאשָֽׁם׃
And their nobles have sent their little ones to the waters: they came to the pits, and found no water; they returned with their vessels empty; they were ashamed and confounded, and covered their heads.
וְנִשְׁחַת הַכְּלִי אֲשֶׁר הוּא עֹשֶׂה בַּחֹמֶר בְּיַד הַיּוֹצֵר וְשָׁב וַֽיַּעֲשֵׂהוּ כְּלִי אַחֵר כַּאֲשֶׁר יָשַׁר בְּעֵינֵי הַיּוֹצֵר לַעֲשֽׂוֹת׃
And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.
וְאָמַרְתָּ אֲלֵיהֶם כֹּה-אָמַר׀ יְהוָה צְבָאוֹת כָּכָה אֶשְׁבֹּר אֶת-הָעָם הַזֶּה וְאֶת-הָעִיר הַזֹּאת כַּאֲשֶׁר יִשְׁבֹּר אֶת-כְּלִי הַיּוֹצֵר אֲשֶׁר לֹֽא-יוּכַל לְהֵרָפֵה עוֹד וּבְתֹפֶת יִקְבְּרוּ מֵאֵין מָקוֹם לִקְבּֽוֹר׃
And shalt say unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Even so will I break this people and this city, as one breaketh a potter's vessel, that cannot be made whole again: and they shall bury them in Tophet, till there be no place to bury.
כֹּֽה-אָמַר יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל הִנְנִי מֵסֵב אֶת-כְּלֵי הַמִּלְחָמָה אֲשֶׁר בְּיֶדְכֶם אֲשֶׁר אַתֶּם נִלְחָמִים בָּם אֶת-מֶלֶךְ בָּבֶל וְאֶת-הַכַּשְׂדִּים הַצָּרִים עֲלֵיכֶם מִחוּץ לַֽחוֹמָה וְאָסַפְתִּי אוֹתָם אֶל-תּוֹךְ הָעִיר הַזֹּֽאת׃
Thus saith the LORD God of Israel; Behold, I will turn back the weapons of war that are in your hands, wherewith ye fight against the king of Babylon, and against the Chaldeans, which besiege you without the walls, and I will assemble them into the midst of this city.
וְקִדַּשְׁתִּי עָלֶיךָ מַשְׁחִתִים אִישׁ וְכֵלָיו וְכָֽרְתוּ מִבְחַר אֲרָזֶיךָ וְהִפִּילוּ עַל-הָאֵֽשׁ׃
And I will prepare destroyers against thee, every one with his weapons: and they shall cut down thy choice cedars, and cast them into the fire.
הַעֶצֶב נִבְזֶה נָפוּץ הָאִישׁ הַזֶּה כָּנְיָהוּ אִם-כְּלִי אֵין חֵפֶץ בּוֹ מַדּוּעַ הֽוּטֲלוּ הוּא וְזַרְעוֹ וְהֻשְׁלְכוּ עַל-הָאָרֶץ אֲשֶׁר לֹא-יָדָֽעוּ׃
Is this man Coniah a despised broken idol? is he a vessel wherein is no pleasure? wherefore are they cast out, he and his seed, and are cast into a land which they know not?
הֵילִילוּ הָרֹעִים וְזַעֲקוּ וְהִֽתְפַּלְּשׁוּ אַדִּירֵי הַצֹּאן כִּֽי-מָלְאוּ יְמֵיכֶם לִטְבוֹחַ וּתְפוֹצוֹתִיכֶם וּנְפַלְתֶּם כִּכְלִי חֶמְדָּֽה׃
Howl, ye shepherds, and cry; and wallow yourselves in the ashes, ye principal of the flock: for the days of your slaughter and of your dispersions are accomplished; and ye shall fall like a pleasant vessel.
וְאֶל-הַכֹּהֲנִים וְאֶל-כָּל-הָעָם הַזֶּה דִּבַּרְתִּי לֵאמֹר כֹּה אָמַר יְהוָה אַֽל-תִּשְׁמְעוּ אֶל-דִּבְרֵי נְבִֽיאֵיכֶם הַֽנִּבְּאִים לָכֶם לֵאמֹר הִנֵּה כְלֵי בֵית-יְהוָה מוּשָׁבִים מִבָּבֶלָה עַתָּה מְהֵרָה כִּי שֶׁקֶר הֵמָּה נִבְּאִים לָכֶֽם׃
Also I spake to the priests and to all this people, saying, Thus saith the LORD; Hearken not to the words of your prophets that prophesy unto you, saying, Behold, the vessels of the LORD's house shall now shortly be brought again from Babylon: for they prophesy a lie unto you.
וְאִם-נְבִאִים הֵם וְאִם-יֵשׁ דְּבַר-יְהוָה אִתָּם יִפְגְּעוּ-נָא בַּֽיהוָה צְבָאוֹת לְבִלְתִּי-בֹאוּ הַכֵּלִים׀ הַנּוֹתָרִים בְּבֵית-יְהוָה וּבֵית מֶלֶךְ יְהוּדָה וּבִירוּשָׁלִַם בָּבֶֽלָה׃
But if they be prophets, and if the word of the LORD be with them, let them now make intercession to the LORD of hosts, that the vessels which are left in the house of the LORD, and in the house of the king of Judah, and at Jerusalem, go not to Babylon.
כִּי כֹה אָמַר יְהוָה צְבָאוֹת אֶל-הָֽעַמֻּדִים וְעַל-הַיָּם וְעַל-הַמְּכֹנוֹת וְעַל יֶתֶר הַכֵּלִים הַנּוֹתָרִים בָּעִיר הַזֹּֽאת׃
For thus saith the LORD of hosts concerning the pillars, and concerning the sea, and concerning the bases, and concerning the residue of the vessels that remain in this city,
כִּי כֹה אָמַר יְהוָה צְבָאוֹת אֱלֹהֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל עַל-הַכֵּלִים הַנּֽוֹתָרִים בֵּית יְהוָה וּבֵית מֶֽלֶךְ-יְהוּדָה וִירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃
Yea, thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, concerning the vessels that remain in the house of the LORD, and in the house of the king of Judah and of Jerusalem;
בְּעוֹד׀ שְׁנָתַיִם יָמִים אֲנִי מֵשִׁיב אֶל-הַמָּקוֹם הַזֶּה אֶֽת-כָּל-כְּלֵי בֵּית יְהוָה אֲשֶׁר לָקַח נְבוּכַדנֶאצַּר מֶֽלֶךְ-בָּבֶל מִן-הַמָּקוֹם הַזֶּה וַיְבִיאֵם בָּבֶֽל׃
Within two full years will I bring again into this place all the vessels of the LORD's house, that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon took away from this place, and carried them to Babylon:
וַיֹּאמֶר יִרְמְיָה הַנָּבִיא אָמֵן כֵּן יַעֲשֶׂה יְהוָה יָקֵם יְהוָה אֶת-דְּבָרֶיךָ אֲשֶׁר נִבֵּאתָ לְהָשִׁיב כְּלֵי בֵית-יְהוָה וְכָל-הַגּוֹלָה מִבָּבֶל אֶל-הַמָּקוֹם הַזֶּֽה׃
Even the prophet Jeremiah said, Amen: the LORD do so: the LORD perform thy words which thou hast prophesied, to bring again the vessels of the LORD's house, and all that is carried away captive, from Babylon into this place.
כֹּֽה-אָמַר יְהוָה צְבָאוֹת אֱלֹהֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל לָקוֹחַ אֶת-הַסְּפָרִים הָאֵלֶּה אֵת סֵפֶר הַמִּקְנָה הַזֶּה וְאֵת הֶחָתוּם וְאֵת סֵפֶר הַגָּלוּי הַזֶּה וּנְתַתָּם בִּכְלִי-חָרֶשׂ לְמַעַן יַעַמְדוּ יָמִים רַבִּֽים׃
Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Take these evidences, this evidence of the purchase, both which is sealed, and this evidence which is open; and put them in an earthen vessel, that they may continue many days.
וַאֲנִי הִנְנִי יֹשֵׁב בַּמִּצְפָּה לַֽעֲמֹד לִפְנֵי הַכַּשְׂדִּים אֲשֶׁר יָבֹאוּ אֵלֵינוּ וְאַתֶּם אִסְפוּ יַיִן וְקַיִץ וְשֶׁמֶן וְשִׂמוּ בִּכְלֵיכֶם וּשְׁבוּ בְּעָרֵיכֶם אֲשֶׁר-תְּפַשְׂתֶּֽם׃
As for me, behold, I will dwell at Mizpah to serve the Chaldeans, which will come unto us: but ye, gather ye wine, and summer fruits, and oil, and put them in your vessels, and dwell in your cities that ye have taken.
כְּלֵי גוֹלָה עֲשִׂי לָךְ יוֹשֶׁבֶת בַּת-מִצְרָיִם כִּֽי-נֹף לְשַׁמָּה תִֽהְיֶה וְנִצְּתָה מֵאֵין יוֹשֵֽׁב׃
O thou daughter dwelling in Egypt, furnish thyself to go into captivity: for Noph shall be waste and desolate without an inhabitant.
שַׁאֲנַן מוֹאָב מִנְּעוּרָיו וְשֹׁקֵט הוּא אֶל-שְׁמָרָיו וְלֹֽא-הוּרַק מִכְּלִי אֶל-כֶּלִי וּבַגּוֹלָה לֹא הָלָךְ עַל-כֵּן עָמַד טַעְמוֹ בּוֹ וְרֵיחוֹ לֹא נָמָֽר׃
Moab hath been at ease from his youth, and he hath settled on his lees, and hath not been emptied from vessel to vessel, neither hath he gone into captivity: therefore his taste remained in him, and his scent is not changed.
לָכֵן הִנֵּֽה-יָמִים בָּאִים נְאֻם-יְהוָה וְשִׁלַּחְתִּי-לוֹ צֹעִים וְצֵעֻהוּ וְכֵלָיו יָרִיקוּ וְנִבְלֵיהֶם יְנַפֵּֽצוּ׃
Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will send unto him wanderers, that shall cause him to wander, and shall empty his vessels, and break their bottles.
עַל כָּל-גַּגּוֹת מוֹאָב וּבִרְחֹבֹתֶיהָ כֻּלֹּה מִסְפֵּד כִּֽי-שָׁבַרְתִּי אֶת-מוֹאָב כִּכְלִי אֵֽין-חֵפֶץ בּוֹ נְאֻם-יְהוָֽה׃
There shall be lamentation generally upon all the housetops of Moab, and in the streets thereof: for I have broken Moab like a vessel wherein is no pleasure, saith the LORD.
אָהֳלֵיהֶם וְצֹאנָם יִקָּחוּ יְרִיעוֹתֵיהֶם וְכָל-כְּלֵיהֶם וּגְמַלֵּיהֶם יִשְׂאוּ לָהֶם וְקָרְאוּ עֲלֵיהֶם מָגוֹר מִסָּבִֽיב׃
Their tents and their flocks shall they take away: they shall take to themselves their curtains, and all their vessels, and their camels; and they shall cry unto them, Fear is on every side.
פָּתַח יְהוָה אֶת-אוֹצָרוֹ וַיּוֹצֵא אֶת-כְּלֵי זַעְמוֹ כִּי-מְלָאכָה הִיא לַֽאדֹנָי יְהוִה צְבָאוֹת בְּאֶרֶץ כַּשְׂדִּֽים׃
The LORD hath opened his armoury, and hath brought forth the weapons of his indignation: for this is the work of the Lord GOD of hosts in the land of the Chaldeans.
מַפֵּץ-אַתָּה לִי כְּלֵי מִלְחָמָה וְנִפַּצְתִּי בְךָ גּוֹיִם וְהִשְׁחַתִּי בְךָ מַמְלָכֽוֹת׃
Thou art my battle axe and weapons of war: for with thee will I break in pieces the nations, and with thee will I destroy kingdoms;
אֲכָלַנִו הֲמָמַנִו נְבוּכַדְרֶאצַּר מֶלֶךְ בָּבֶל הִצִּיגַנִו כְּלִי רִיק בְּלָעַנִו כַּתַּנִּין מִלָּא כְרֵשׂוֹ מֵֽעֲדָנָי הֱדִיחָֽנִו׃
Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon hath devoured me, he hath crushed me, he hath made me an empty vessel, he hath swallowed me up like a dragon, he hath filled his belly with my delicates, he hath cast me out.
וְאֶת-הַסִּרוֹת וְאֶת-הַיָּעִים וְאֶת-הַֽמְזַמְּרוֹת וְאֶת-הַמִּזְרָקֹת וְאֶת-הַכַּפּוֹת וְאֵת כָּל-כְּלֵי הַנְּחֹשֶׁת אֲשֶׁר-יְשָׁרְתוּ בָהֶם לָקָֽחוּ׃
The caldrons also, and the shovels, and the snuffers, and the bowls, and the spoons, and all the vessels of brass wherewith they ministered, took they away.
הָעַמּוּדִים׀ שְׁנַיִם הַיָּם אֶחָד וְהַבָּקָר שְׁנֵים-עָשָׂר נְחֹשֶׁת אֲשֶׁר-תַּחַת הַמְּכֹנוֹת אֲשֶׁר עָשָׂה הַמֶּלֶךְ שְׁלֹמֹה לְבֵית יְהוָה לֹא-הָיָה מִשְׁקָל לִנְחֻשְׁתָּם כָּל-הַכֵּלִים הָאֵֽלֶּה׃
The two pillars, one sea, and twelve brasen bulls that were under the bases, which king Solomon had made in the house of the LORD: the brass of all these vessels was without weight.
וְאַתָּה קַח-לְךָ חִטִּין וּשְׂעֹרִים וּפוֹל וַעֲדָשִׁים וְדֹחַן וְכֻסְּמִים וְנָתַתָּה אוֹתָם בִּכְלִי אֶחָד וְעָשִׂיתָ אוֹתָם לְךָ לְלָחֶם מִסְפַּר הַיָּמִים אֲשֶׁר-אַתָּה׀ שׁוֹכֵב עַֽל-צִדְּךָ שְׁלֹשׁ-מֵאוֹת וְתִשְׁעִים יוֹם תֹּאכֲלֶֽנּוּ׃
Take thou also unto thee wheat, and barley, and beans, and lentiles, and millet, and fitches, and put them in one vessel, and make thee bread thereof, according to the number of the days that thou shalt lie upon thy side, three hundred and ninety days shalt thou eat thereof.
וַיִּקְרָא בְאָזְנַי קוֹל גָּדוֹל לֵאמֹר קָרְבוּ פְּקֻדּוֹת הָעִיר וְאִישׁ כְּלִי מַשְׁחֵתוֹ בְּיָדֽוֹ׃
He cried also in mine ears with a loud voice, saying, Cause them that have charge over the city to draw near, even every man with his destroying weapon in his hand.
וְהִנֵּה שִׁשָּׁה אֲנָשִׁים בָּאִים׀ מִדֶּרֶךְ-שַׁעַר הָעֶלְיוֹן אֲשֶׁר׀ מָפְנֶה צָפוֹנָה וְאִישׁ כְּלִי מַפָּצוֹ בְּיָדוֹ וְאִישׁ-אֶחָד בְּתוֹכָם לָבֻשׁ בַּדִּים וְקֶסֶת הַסֹּפֵר בְּמָתְנָיו וַיָּבֹאוּ וַיַּעַמְדוּ אֵצֶל מִזְבַּח הַנְּחֹֽשֶׁת׃
And, behold, six men came from the way of the higher gate, which lieth toward the north, and every man a slaughter weapon in his hand; and one man among them was clothed with linen, with a writer's inkhorn by his side: and they went in, and stood beside the brasen altar.
וְאַתָּה בֶן-אָדָם עֲשֵׂה לְךָ כְּלֵי גוֹלָה וּגְלֵה יוֹמָם לְעֵֽינֵיהֶם וְגָלִיתָ מִמְּקוֹמְךָ אֶל-מָקוֹם אַחֵר לְעֵינֵיהֶם אוּלַי יִרְאוּ כִּי בֵּית מְרִי הֵֽמָּה׃
Therefore, thou son of man, prepare thee stuff for removing, and remove by day in their sight; and thou shalt remove from thy place to another place in their sight: it may be they will consider, though they be a rebellious house.
וְהוֹצֵאתָ כֵלֶיךָ כִּכְלֵי גוֹלָה יוֹמָם לְעֵֽינֵיהֶם וְאַתָּה תֵּצֵא בָעֶרֶב לְעֵינֵיהֶם כְּמוֹצָאֵי גּוֹלָֽה׃
Then shalt thou bring forth thy stuff by day in their sight, as stuff for removing: and thou shalt go forth at even in their sight, as they that go forth into captivity.
וָאַעַשׂ כֵּן כַּאֲשֶׁר צֻוֵּיתִי כֵּלַי הוֹצֵאתִי כִּכְלֵי גוֹלָה יוֹמָם וּבָעֶרֶב חָתַֽרְתִּי-לִי בַקִּיר בְּיָד בָּעֲלָטָה הוֹצֵאתִי עַל-כָּתֵף נָשָׂאתִי לְעֵינֵיהֶֽם׃
And I did so as I was commanded: I brought forth my stuff by day, as stuff for captivity, and in the even I digged through the wall with mine hand; I brought it forth in the twilight, and I bare it upon my shoulder in their sight.
הֲיֻקַּח מִמֶּנּוּ עֵץ לַעֲשׂוֹת לִמְלָאכָה אִם-יִקְחוּ מִמֶּנּוּ יָתֵד לִתְלוֹת עָלָיו כָּל-כֶּֽלִי׃
Shall wood be taken thereof to do any work? or will men take a pin of it to hang any vessel thereon?
וַתִּקְחִי כְּלֵי תִפְאַרְתֵּךְ מִזְּהָבִי וּמִכַּסְפִּי אֲשֶׁר נָתַתִּי לָךְ וַתַּעֲשִׂי-לָךְ צַלְמֵי זָכָר וַתִּזְנִי-בָֽם׃
Thou hast also taken thy fair jewels of my gold and of my silver, which I had given thee, and madest to thyself images of men, and didst commit whoredom with them,
וְנָתַתִּי אוֹתָךְ בְּיָדָם וְהָרְסוּ גַבֵּךְ וְנִתְּצוּ רָמֹתַיִךְ וְהִפְשִׁיטוּ אוֹתָךְ בְּגָדַיִךְ וְלָקְחוּ כְּלֵי תִפְאַרְתֵּךְ וְהִנִּיחוּךְ עֵירֹם וְעֶרְיָֽה׃
And I will also give thee into their hand, and they shall throw down thine eminent place, and shall break down thy high places: they shall strip thee also of thy clothes, and shall take thy fair jewels, and leave thee naked and bare.
וְהִפְשִׁיטוּךְ אֶת-בְּגָדָיִךְ וְלָקְחוּ כְּלֵי תִפְאַרְתֵּֽךְ׃
They shall also strip thee out of thy clothes, and take away thy fair jewels.
יָוָן תֻּבַל וָמֶשֶׁךְ הֵמָּה רֹֽכְלָיִךְ בְּנֶפֶשׁ אָדָם וּכְלֵי נְחֹשֶׁת נָתְנוּ מַעֲרָבֵֽךְ׃
Javan, Tubal, and Meshech, they were thy merchants: they traded the persons of men and vessels of brass in thy market.
וְלֹא יִשְׁכְּבוּ אֶת-גִּבּוֹרִים נֹפְלִים מֵעֲרֵלִים אֲשֶׁר יָרְדֽוּ-שְׁאוֹל בִּכְלֵֽי-מִלְחַמְתָּם וַיִּתְּנוּ אֶת-חַרְבוֹתָם תַּחַת רָאשֵׁיהֶם וַתְּהִי עֲוֹֽנֹתָם עַל-עַצְמוֹתָם כִּֽי-חִתִּית גִּבּוֹרִים בְּאֶרֶץ חַיִּֽים׃
And they shall not lie with the mighty that are fallen of the uncircumcised, which are gone down to hell with their weapons of war: and they have laid their swords under their heads, but their iniquities shall be upon their bones, though they were the terror of the mighty in the land of the living.
וְאַרְבָּעָה שֻׁלְחָנוֹת לָעוֹלָה אַבְנֵי גָזִית אֹרֶךְ אַמָּה אַחַת וָחֵצִי וְרֹחַב אַמָּה אַחַת וָחֵצִי וְגֹבַהּ אַמָּה אֶחָת אֲלֵיהֶם וְיַנִּיחוּ אֶת-הַכֵּלִים אֲשֶׁר יִשְׁחֲטוּ אֶת-הָעוֹלָה בָּם וְהַזָּֽבַח׃
And the four tables were of hewn stone for the burnt offering, of a cubit and an half long, and a cubit and an half broad, and one cubit high: whereupon also they laid the instruments wherewith they slew the burnt offering and the sacrifice.
וַיִּתֵּן אֲדֹנָי בְּיָדוֹ אֶת-יְהוֹיָקִים מֶֽלֶךְ-יְהוּדָה וּמִקְצָת כְּלֵי בֵית-הָֽאֱלֹהִים וַיְבִיאֵם אֶֽרֶץ-שִׁנְעָר בֵּית אֱלֹהָיו וְאֶת-הַכֵּלִים הֵבִיא בֵּית אוֹצַר אֱלֹהָֽיו׃
And the Lord gave Jehoiakim king of Judah into his hand, with part of the vessels of the house of God: which he carried into the land of Shinar to the house of his god; and he brought the vessels into the treasure house of his god.
וְגַם אֱֽלֹהֵיהֶם עִם-נְסִֽכֵיהֶם עִם-כְּלֵי חֶמְדָּתָם כֶּסֶף וְזָהָב בַּשְּׁבִי יָבִא מִצְרָיִם וְהוּא שָׁנִים יַעֲמֹד מִמֶּלֶךְ הַצָּפֽוֹן׃
And shall also carry captives into Egypt their gods, with their princes, and with their precious vessels of silver and of gold; and he shall continue more years than the king of the north.
נִבְלַע יִשְׂרָאֵל עַתָּה הָיוּ בַגּוֹיִם כִּכְלִי אֵֽין-חֵפֶץ בּֽוֹ׃
Israel is swallowed up: now shall they be among the Gentiles as a vessel wherein is no pleasure.
כִּי הוּא בֵּין אַחִים יַפְרִיא יָבוֹא קָדִים רוּחַ יְהוָה מִמִּדְבָּר עֹלֶה וְיֵבוֹשׁ מְקוֹרוֹ וְיֶחֱרַב מַעְיָנוֹ הוּא יִשְׁסֶה אוֹצַר כָּל-כְּלִי חֶמְדָּֽה׃
Though he be fruitful among his brethren, an east wind shall come, the wind of the LORD shall come up from the wilderness, and his spring shall become dry, and his fountain shall be dried up: he shall spoil the treasure of all pleasant vessels.
הַפֹּרְטִים עַל-פִּי הַנָּבֶל כְּדָוִיד חָשְׁבוּ לָהֶם כְּלֵי-שִֽׁיר׃
That chant to the sound of the viol, and invent to themselves instruments of musick, like David;
וַיִּֽירְאוּ הַמַּלָּחִים וַֽיִּזְעֲקוּ אִישׁ אֶל-אֱלֹהָיו וַיָּטִלוּ אֶת-הַכֵּלִים אֲשֶׁר בָּֽאֳנִיָּה אֶל-הַיָּם לְהָקֵל מֵֽעֲלֵיהֶם וְיוֹנָה יָרַד אֶל-יַרְכְּתֵי הַסְּפִינָה וַיִּשְׁכַּב וַיֵּרָדַֽם׃
Then the mariners were afraid, and cried every man unto his god, and cast forth the wares that were in the ship into the sea, to lighten it of them. But Jonah was gone down into the sides of the ship; and he lay, and was fast asleep.
בֹּזּוּ כֶסֶף בֹּזּוּ זָהָב וְאֵין קֵצֶה לַתְּכוּנָה כָּבֹד מִכֹּל כְּלִי חֶמְדָּֽה׃
Take ye the spoil of silver, take the spoil of gold: for there is none end of the store and glory out of all the pleasant furniture.
וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה אֵלָי עוֹד קַח-לְךָ כְּלִי רֹעֶה אֱוִלִֽי׃
And the LORD said unto me, Take unto thee yet the instruments of a foolish shepherd.
