For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they shall two be one flesh.
καὶ ἔσονται οἱ δύο εἰς σάρκα μίαν· ὥστε οὐκέτι εἰσὶν δύο ἀλλὰ μία σάρξ
And they shall twain be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh.

τίς ἐκ τῶν δύο ἐποίησεν τὸ θέλημα τοῦ πατρός; λέγουσιν αὐτῷ Ὁ πρῶτος. λέγει αὐτοῖς ὁ Ἰησοῦς Ἀμὴν λέγω ὑμῖν ὅτι οἱ τελῶναι καὶ αἱ πόρναι προάγουσιν ὑμᾶς εἰς τὴν βασιλείαν τοῦ θεοῦ
Whether of them twain did the will of his father? They say unto him, The first. Jesus saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you.
וַיְהִי׀ כְּמִשְׁלֹשׁ חֳדָשִׁים וַיֻּגַּד לִֽיהוּדָה לֵאמֹר זָֽנְתָה תָּמָר כַּלָּתֶךָ וְגַם הִנֵּה הָרָה לִזְנוּנִים וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוּדָה הֽוֹצִיאוּהָ וְתִשָּׂרֵֽף׃
And it came to pass about three months after, that it was told Judah, saying, Tamar thy daughter in law hath played the harlot; and also, behold, she is with child by whoredom. And Judah said, Bring her forth, and let her be burnt.
וַיֵּלֶךְ שִׁמְשׁוֹן עַזָּתָה וַיַּרְא-שָׁם אִשָּׁה זוֹנָה וַיָּבֹא אֵלֶֽיהָ׃
Then went Samson to Gaza, and saw there an harlot, and went in unto her.
וַיֹּֽאמְרוּ הַכְזוֹנָה יַֽעֲשֶׂה אֶת-אֲחוֹתֵֽנוּ׃
And they said, Should he deal with our sister as with an harlot?
Πίστει Ῥαὰβ ἡ πόρνη οὐ συναπώλετο τοῖς ἀπειθήσασιν δεξαμένη τοὺς κατασκόπους μετ' εἰρήνης
By faith the harlot Rahab perished with not them that believed not, when she had received the spies with peace.
וַיִּרְאֶהָ יְהוּדָה וַֽיַּחְשְׁבֶהָ לְזוֹנָה כִּי כִסְּתָה פָּנֶֽיהָ׃
When Judah saw her, he thought her to be an harlot; because she had covered her face.
