Hebrews 3:9

οὗ ἐπείρασαν με οἱ πατέρες ὑμῶν ἐδοκιμασάν με καὶ εἶδον τὰ ἔργα μου τεσσαράκοντα ἔτη·
When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years.
