And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
καταρτίσαι ὑμᾶς ἐν παντὶ ἔργῳ ἀγαθῷ εἰς τὸ ποιῆσαι τὸ θέλημα αὐτοῦ ποιῶν ἐν ὑμῖν τὸ εὐάρεστον ἐνώπιον αὐτοῦ διὰ Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ ᾧ ἡ δόξα εἰς τοὺς αἰῶνας τῶν αἰώνων ἀμήν
Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
Μακροθυμήσατε οὖν ἀδελφοί ἕως τῆς παρουσίας τοῦ κυρίου ἰδού ὁ γεωργὸς ἐκδέχεται τὸν τίμιον καρπὸν τῆς γῆς μακροθυμῶν ἐπ' αὐτῷ ἕως ἂν λάβῃ ὑετὸν πρώϊμον καὶ ὄψιμον
Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.
כִּי עוֹד חָזוֹן לַמּוֹעֵד וְיָפֵחַ לַקֵּץ וְלֹא יְכַזֵּב אִם-יִתְמַהְמָהּ חַכֵּה-לוֹ כִּֽי-בֹא יָבֹא לֹא יְאַחֵֽר׃
For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
קַוֹּה קִוִּיתִי יְהוָה וַיֵּט אֵלַי וַיִּשְׁמַע שַׁוְעָתִֽי׃
I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.
πολλὰ γὰρ πταίομεν ἅπαντες εἴ τις ἐν λόγῳ οὐ πταίει οὗτος τέλειος ἀνήρ δυνατὸς χαλιναγωγῆσαι καὶ ὅλον τὸ σῶμα
For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body.
καὶ ἔσεσθε μισούμενοι ὑπὸ πάντων διὰ τὸ ὄνομά μου· ὁ δὲ ὑπομείνας εἰς τέλος οὗτος σωθήσεται
And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.
דּוֹם׀ לַיהוָה וְהִתְחוֹלֵל לוֹ אַל-תִּתְחַר בְּמַצְלִיחַ דַּרְכּוֹ בְּאִישׁ עֹשֶׂה מְזִמּֽוֹת׃

Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.
τὸ δὲ ἐν τῇ καλῇ γῇ οὗτοί εἰσιν οἵτινες ἐν καρδίᾳ καλῇ καὶ ἀγαθῇ ἀκούσαντες τὸν λόγον κατέχουσιν καὶ καρποφοροῦσιν ἐν ὑπομονῇ
But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.
וְיֹאחֵז צַדִּיק דַּרְכּוֹ וּֽטֳהָר-יָדַיִם יֹסִיף אֹֽמֶץ׃
The righteous also shall hold on his way, and he that hath clean hands shall be stronger and stronger.
ἐγὼ ἐν αὐτοῖς καὶ σὺ ἐν ἐμοί ἵνα ὦσιν τετελειωμένοι εἰς ἕν καὶ ἵνα γινώσκῃ ὁ κόσμος ὅτι σύ με ἀπέστειλας καὶ ἠγάπησας αὐτοὺς καθὼς ἐμὲ ἠγάπησας
I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.
ἐν τούτῳ τετελείωται ἡ ἀγάπη μεθ' ἡμῶν ἵνα παῤῥησίαν ἔχωμεν ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ τῆς κρίσεως ὅτι καθὼς ἐκεῖνός ἐστιν καὶ ἡμεῖς ἐσμεν ἐν τῷ κόσμῳ τούτῳ
Herein is our made love perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.
